OK  I think of myself as fairly savvy and experienced but I’m trying to rough out a train route for an upcoming trip but, although I know there are trains to Bayreuth, Germany, the destination pops up as not known! In the past I know I booked trains from Frankfurt and Hamburg.  Am I missing something?

Hola a todos..Me podrían colaborar dando información sobre los gastos de reserva … dice el tiquete “global pass” que no lo incluye.

Greetings,We ill be visiting Paris for the 2024 Olympics.  I would like to purchase a 6 day travel for one month in one country.  Whenever I select the following, the software switch my selection to Global pass.  Why. Can I not purchase a one country pass for first class without going global.

Hi Trying to look into eSim card for May France trip (15 days). Bought “Eurail Pass 2nd class 6 days within 1 month” I would like to know if I need to have data running to show the following:My 3 Eurail Passes? My Trips for a particular day when I’m on the train? Seat reservations with their QR codes will be downloaded from gmail and stored on my phone (as documents)Plan to use data forscenic site “walking” navigation/metro/tram navigation Rail Planner app to show my tickets or explore train options look up a restaurant/boulangerie/patisserie whatsapp, email checking NO streaming of video or music.Last trip I used about 2 gb and a bit for a 15-day trip but I didn’t have a Eurail Pass though. All the tickets were bought at the machines. I also shared it with my mother via my personal hotspot but since it drained my phone battery, we didn’t do that except long train rides and those with outlets. This May trip, I will have the Eurail Passes.I understand whatever you suggest will be an est

I am traveling from Zurich to Zermatt to St. Moritz (via Glacier Express) to Milan to Florence.I’m considering a 4-day Eurail Flex Pass instead of the Swiss Train Pass because of the Italy travel.I plan to take the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St. Moritz (I know I need seat reservations), and prefer not to stay the night in St. Moritz.  I think I can take a combination of bus and train from St. Moritz to Milan and make it to Milan the same night.  I know the Zermatt to Milan trip will be a long day. This is the route Rome2Rio suggests from St. Moritz to MilanMy questions:Can I use the Eurail pass from Zurich to Zermatt? Do I need a seat reservation? Can I use the Eurail pass from St. Moritz to Milan?  Do I need a seat reservation? Can I use the Eurail pass for the train from Milan to Florence?  Do I need seat assignments? This is the suggested Route Rome2Rio suggests to get me from St. Moritz to Milan the same day I take the Glacier Express.  Can I use the Eurail pass on this route?

Hi - I’m looking at trains from Vienna Hbf to the airport for 2nd May and the OBB timetable is only showing a couple of options available in the morning. Most of them say ‘Ticket not available’ either with or without the Interrail pass filter on. Does this mean they are all fully booked already? I want to leave from Hbf as I’m staying near there. Thank you

Hi, We have a Global Eurail pass and will be traveling from Amsterdam to Bruges the day AFTER Kings Day. We expect a lot more “traffic” than usual on the trains that day. The website says “You’re ready to board” without a reservation, but a friend who recently returned from Europe said that they had a few occasions where were turned away on the day due to the train being full, despite the website saying no reservation was required. It is possible, or advised, that we pay for a reservation “just in case”? Or are we being silly? If reservations are recommended, how do I do this under the circumstances.Thank you soooo much in advance.Di Borg

I am an Asian who is working in Hungary and I have a Hungarian residence permit card. can i use interrail?

Hi,I am looking to book reservations against my EURail Pass for Italian trains on OBB. I came across this ÖBB Reservierungsvorteil at 24.90 Euro which offers 50% discount on seat reservations.https://shop.oebbtickets.at/en/shop/folder/d550661042eb9db9f1603f495667d19eDoes it work? I am looking to buy substantial reservations for my family's train journey's between Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan totalling upto 228 Euro. Will this pass actually cut the reservation cost down to 50%? This is non-cancellable, so I am bit sceptical about buying.

Can you travel from Venice to Rome on your Eurail Pass?

I have found out how to make reservations together with a travelling partner via this link https://www.eurail.com/en/help/reservations/how-do-i-make-seat-reservations-togetherbut does this work if one has a pass from the UK and one has a pass from Germany?

We have bought 4 interrail passes and would like to travel from Germany via France (Avignon) to Barcelona. For our train from Avignon to Barcelon (AVI INT 9730; 8:40 - 12:38) a seat reservation is required. Hi first time using a Global Pass. I have not activated pass yet as it is too early for trip but I have made multiple seat reservations for planned trips. Do I need to connect these seat reservations to my Global Pass after activation or do I just bring my printed out seat reservations with me and use both mobile pass and printed seat reservations? Very confused at this point, any help appreciated!!Rich

Good Morning,I have a Global Eurail ticket that is still valid. However, can I use it for local trains from Farnborough to Waterloo (Within England) Many Thanks!!

We are planning an interrail vacation this summer together with our daughter. During the period we plan to travel, our daughter will turn 12 years old. When we book tickets, should we buy for 11 years or 12 years? This is a price matter😄

We want to make two separate trips on our 15 days-two months pass. The first trip will allow us an outbound and inbound journey from Shrewsbury. My question is - on the second trip I understand  Shrewsbury-St Pancras tickets won’t be included in the pass, but can we book Eurostar again on the pass: i.e. is St Pancras our point of departure for Europe?

I‘m in Stockholm 13th - 16th of February, anyone want to meet up? 🙃🚞

hello,My understanding is 1st class eurail passes translate to standard premier on eurostar. 1st class was available for our trip and we paid the 1st class reservation rate on SNBC, but I see the tickets are in carriage 14 and that is a standard carriage. If anyone has insight on why that is, I would appreciate it. Thanks,Allie

I'd like to book TGV Lyria Paris to Geneva on May 24th, and Basel to Paris on June 2nd but tickets are not available yet. Does anyone know when sales will be open?

Hi, can you tell me if i have a Global Pass digital ticket for travelling , do i have to have an actual printed copy of my seat reservations? Or can you get a digital one to keep on my mobile to show ticket inspectors? I am about to activate my pass soon. thanks

I am trying to book a seat reservation for a train from Zagreb Glavni Kol to Ljubljana on May 16 from 19:40 to 21:47. When I go to the eurail website to book the seat reservation, it says N/A for price and underneath it says "facilities unavailable". I do not know if that means that the train is fully booked, or if it just means that I need to book the seat reservation at the train station in person. Any help is appreciated.

I bought a seniors Eurail pass and now realise I can’t use the pass to book the Eurostar to London from Paris as they don’t have a Seniors fare. What do I do? Do I get a refund on the pass and buy an Adult pass or somehow pay the difference in the fares on the Eurostar. I wish I had known I couldn’t travel in and out of London on the Seniors pass before I bought it!
