I am facing a very very bad experience with Interrail customer service. I couldn't pay for my seat reservations, every time the page said "bad request". After the 4th time, I finally succeeded. Now I can see on my bank account that the payment was made 4 times! I've explained the situation to interrail, but they say it's all my fault and that you have to wait 30 minutes to validate the payment. Even though a page indicated a bug. How can I get my money back (€48)? Thank you for your help!

Hi, I’m Amelia. I’m going to travel to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy and Austria, probably in September. I’d love to learn about less known places, cities, events or foods that are worth a try. If you live in one of these countries, please give me some ideas for my trip. If there is anything specific I should know about traveling by train in these countries, I’d love to know too. :)

Hello all,We are currently traveling from the Netherlands to Prague, arriving this evening (23rd) but with the German train strikes for all International trains on the 24th-29th we are unsure on how to get back. I am unsure which day we will be able to make it back but it is possible that it would take two days. How would compensation for this work? Would we need to travel as far as Germany from Prague and then hope for a hotel or would accomodation be paid for in Prague given it would be impossible to get home? Also with getting an extra day pass on the interrail ticket how does that work? If we went the route of avoiding Germany, how should we pay for any extra reservations needed? A lot of questions I know but any help with this is much appreciated! Thanks

I was left stranded in Hamburg on the 9th January when my train to Copenhagen was cancelled and the train strike commenced the following day. I ended up getting a flight from Hamburg to Copenhagen which will be covered by travel insurance but I need to provide evidence that there was a train strike on that day. Is there an official notice I can download of the strike on that day that I can provide as proof there was a strike?

Hello, can somebody tell us whether or not we can go to Alberobello from Amalfi in 1 day by train?  Almafi to Naple to Bari to Albelrobello. We already booked Airbnb In Alberobello after staying in Amalfi. If it’s not possible, we have to cancel our reservation in Alberobello. Thank you in advance.Hideyo

I am a first time Eurail rider. I am looking to go from Paris to Zurich in mid to late June and nothing is available. Is there some kind of event or shutdown going on during this period? The train scheduler wants to send me north to Brussels then across to Germany and down to Zurich, it is like an extra 4 hours.

Wanted to see if a global pass would include these to/from places or would I need to book these separately (if not included in pass):Glasgow to InvergordonEdinburgh to AberdeenAberdeen to Morpeth (want to stop there to visit a relative and then continue fromMorpeth to London

Hello, I’ve been reading Travel Books, Travel Websites and oh so many questions and answers about Train Travel in France, especially Paris St Lazare these past few weeks and I’m not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about this ;-)     I have never traveled by train before, so it is all new to me.Briefly, Land in Amsterdam, train to Cologne, train to Mannheim, train to Paris est, Taxi to St Lazare, train to Caen.          Mannheim to Caen is on a Friday in May 2024.Following Friday in May, Train from Caen to Munich via St Lazare, Paris est, Stuttgart, then Munich.CONCERNS: Books/Websites say to Book Trains and Seat Reservations early. 60-90 days early if possible, especially if traveling on Fridays, Busy Months Like May, Using Eurail passes because seats sell out faster and there is a limit on how many Eurail Passes that will be allowed on trains. Oh, I almost forgot, this 2024 is the 80th Anniversary for D-Day and I will be in Normandy a few weeks before June 6th.GREATEST CONCERN; Not getti

Hello,Is it possible to use this Bus with Interrail? Is there a reservation needed? Is it possible to use this Bus with Interrail? Is there a reservation needed? Thanks in advance and best regards.Michael

Hi everyone, extremely knew to the concept of interrailing, heard of it but never considered it a viable option. My intention would be to travel with my bike in tow, it’s only a small BMX bike.  i’ve seen in the FAQ’s that it is at the discretion of the rail companies as to whether they alllow travel with bikes, but was curious to ask in here if anyone had any first hand experience? i assume travelling with a bicycle ain’t hugely unusual and i am hopeful i will be able to make it work on my travels this summer. Thanks in advance,Chaz

I am trying to book this train for the 10th August Brussels midi 10:56, but is not showing on the Eurail planner, but is on the b-europe site. Does this mean it is not available to pass holders by Eurail, but is it ok to book on b-europe?

How do I decipher which train company or platform from this example? I'm guessing the first hop is the "thameslink" and the second is probably the "overground" but it's not really saying. Thanks.

Travel as a group by eurail global pass, when I choose the trip and save in "my pass" as 6 persons , once I book it , how will the others of my team get their qr code of tickets please?

Hi!I’m going to take a ferry to Igoumenista next week. Then I want to explore Greece, does anybody have done that? I know there is no train station in the area, but there is a lot of buses, so maybe I can travel by bus for the beginning.

Hi people. I want to know if in the passes include the night sleeper trains.

Hi,On the interrail planner map, it shows train lines running from Venice to Rome. But, when looking for train times on this website it tells me that there are no trains available. Does anyone know why this might be?

wat is het adres van intrrail in Nederland

I want to travel from Rotterdam to Paris with the Eurostar and from Paris to Barcelona with the TGV. Both have limited seats available for Interrail. I need to buy the Interrail Pass before I can safe a seat in those trains. How can I be sure of a seat?

My husband and I are from the US. In the US….train usage isn’t something we do. As a result, I an clueless on how to make a booking. I am entering our travel cities and nothing generates. We are needing the train for two trips. From Dublin Airport area to York UK. Our flight lands at 5am. In a perfect world, it is no fun hanging out in an airport for hours after an international flight lands. We would like to be on a train heading to York by 8am. I am simply attempting to find information on this path to see what I will have to book closer to our actual arrival. Nothing is generating. From York UK to Edinburgh, Scotland. Departure time 12 noon or earlier. We need to be in Edinburgh by 3pm. Can anyone please help me figure out the trains we will have to take? Also, is it more cost effective to purchase one of the offered Euro Passes? Thanks

My wife and I have bought Global Interrail Passes for use in May/June 2024.  I would like to know what constitutes a single “trip”.  For example, if we start early from Edinburgh, arrive in London, take Eurostar to Paris, then take a night sleeper to Geneva starting before midnight, could this be considered a single “trip”

I'm trying to check to see if there are any seats available for our trip from London to Amsterdam on 6 September 2024, early I know but I don't want to buy a global eurail pass if there isn't.It shows that there are: "No connections matching your requests. Please change your search options (e.g. allow any type of trains, don't specify a via station or reduce extra transfer time."Am I to early or are there no seats left?🤔

The Monterosso to Milan scheduler at trentitaiia for the day I want to travel (April 19) says “Sold out seats on train 670. Solution cannot be purchased”. I understand that’s a poor translation that really means the schedule hasn’t been made available yet and bookings are only available till Feb 18 or so . The first puzzle is, how do I know when the seats are truly sold out and when they’re just not available? Theoretically I could be waiting months, checking every week only to eventually find I actually did miss the booking window and the seats are really sold out. Therefore, to try to see what might become available I have tried to use a Friday in Feb to see what might eventually become available. Following is the result. I am 66, my wife is 64 and we have a Eurail 1st class pass. Would I be correct in following the process to book the Economy 1st class, which theoretically gives me the option to change my booking date/time if necessary?
