Solved

Hey! I’m looking into buying the Global Pass for travel from the UK to and around Switzerland. I downloaded the Rail Planner app from the Apple App Store where I know passes are stored. But I’m hesitant to buy one because the reviews of the app are almost all negative, with people complaining about it not working properly, not being able to show their pass on trains, having to put in their journeys over & over etc.The most recent review does say the app has been updated to a good standard, but I can’t just ignore all the bad ones.So for those of you that have used it, is it reliable enough to use? Or should I perhaps be looking at the (more expensive) Swiss Travel Pass? The last thing I want is to be unable to show I’ve paid for my trips and have to pay again!

Hello!I need to get a seat reservation for the Puertollano to Badajoz train, but when I called the infoline, the person there told me it’s not possible to book two trains with the change, but I also booked two separate trains right afterwards so why was that not the option?I got the reservations for the rest of my trains in Spain, but not this one. They suggested I just go to the station upon arrival to Puertollano and ask for it there.Does anyone know why this is the case? Should I call them again and ask for just a reservation for that one train? To my knowledge regional trains in Spain do not even require a mandatory reservation, so that only adds to the confusion...

quisiera saber si ¿mi pase global 15 días me sirve para ir de Atocha, estación de tren, al aeropuerto de Madrid?

Can I use my pass after the expire date if I take the ticket before or at the expire date?

Hello All!  Looking for some help / to have my anxiety alleviated! Have purchased a Eurail for 2 people to travel across Europe. I’ve managed to book as far as Vienna, but from there, almost all trains are giving me the ‘prices unavailable’ error. This is the specific route:  Vienna - Bucharest: 3rd Jan 2024Bucharest - Istanbul: 7th Jan 2024Istanbul - Ankara: 14th Jan 2024. I’m particularly concerned about the Vienna - Bucharest leg as we’d love to get a Night train (the Dacia 347) but that requires a reservation. I’ve tried on OBB as well as the Romanian carrier’s website but both show ‘tickets not available’ or similar.  I understand the December 10th schedule change makes ticket bookings open far later than normal, but most of my research (as well as the OBB website) says night trains/long distance routes should have become available by mid-October.  I feel like it’s safe to assume the schedule hasn’t been released yet and to just keep checking. My question is whether anybody has ha

Im planning on going from Gent to Amsterdam on train. I have the global pass. The journey i chose does not need obligatory seat reservation. But i still want to make one. The problem is i cant find which of the railway companies is the one that operates this trip in order to go to their website and make the reservation. The journey is on the 6th of january departing at 8:27.Thanks

Hello, I’m trying to book Bruxelles-Midi to Koeln HBF on 27/12 at 08:23.  I know the site says that reservations are not required but are recommended, so I’ve tried to purchase two first class seats (we have first class passes).  I continue to get all the way to the payment portion in the cart and then get an error of “one of the legs of your journey could not be booked”.  Thank you for any of your assistance!

Is the cable car from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp and the narrow-gauge train to Mürren covered by a flexi pass?

I have never used the Eurail before.  I already have my reservations for the required trains in advance.  But for normal trains, I’m not sure what train I want in advance, can I just show up at the train terminal and add the train to my pass that morning, or do they get overbooked and I’ll find myself unable to board unless I schedule them days out?  This is regarding non-reservation trains.

Aloha! I have a question about my trip. I am planning to use Eurail for the first time. The plan is to travel from Sofia, Bulgaria to Paris, France for about a week and visit several destinations along the way. Any recommendations for a road I should take? Thank y'all in advance!

I am looking into traveling via train with a large group of Scouts to Switzerland from London. The olympics is not helping matters as I know it is going to be very busy when we are travelling but are there any suggestions on how to get the best deal for a large group?

Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart.

We like to travel with a 7 days pass between France, Belgium, UK and Germany is the TGV include or a option. The travel use by days or in/out by destination ? Thanks you !

Im planning to travel from amsterdam to prague. I want to take first a sleeper train from amsterdam to berlin and then from berlin to prague a normal train. I depart the 6th from amsterdam and arrive the 7th in berlin. My question is does the train from berlin to prague count as another travel day? Thanks.

I booked all our Euro Rail tickets through Euro rail, I got a notification that the one we had booked from Salzburg to Venice has changed, but there is no where on my existing tickets to be able to change it. Do they automatically put you on the next best one? It doesn’t seem that they assigned us to another train or bus. I’ve send some messages and hope to hear back. But if I go out to rebook, it costs me.

Im looking to make a seat reservation on a sleeper train for me and 6 friends. We all have the global pass. I think that because we are seven people im not able to make the reservation directly from the website. Is there any solution to do this directly from eurail or do i have to go to another website. If so which one? Thanks.

Hello, Why can’t i book a ticket for 1 stop on a night train?Let’s say there is a Budapest-Zurich NightTrain, but i only want to travel from Vienna to Salzburg. Train Schedule says “Enter only, no exiting allowed.” for several stops during the journey. Why is this? And in theory can i use this train if i have a daily ticket (or season ticket) between two destinations? (It’s hard to beleive i physically can not leave a train when it stops).  Also the timetable aren’t showing me this possibility but when i look at live map there are a lot of trains on the go between these stops in the night. It’s only theoritical question so i’m not in need for any ticket like this, just interested.

If I purchase a 4 days of travel global pass and travel from Manchester to London on a Thursday evening and then London to Paris on the Friday morning is that ok or does my trip leaving my country have to all be on the same day? I am trying to arrive in Geneva by mid afternoon on a Friday and so need to take the early morning Eurostar to do this

We are starting our journey toward home on a night train. The train leaves at 23:45 and arrives at Munchen at 9:22, after which we still need to take 2 trains to get home (munchen-hamburg and hamburg-copenhagen). My question is if due to the first night train arriving just before midnight means that we need to use 2 travel days to reach home. We only have 1 travel day left on the ticket, so help would be appreciated.

The InterRail website https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/one-country-pass/ireland seems unclear as to whether Ireland passes are valid in Northern Ireland. It sttes 'The Emerald Isle is a small island of dazzling contrasts with its own soundtrack, from lively Dublin bars to rugged rocks, impressive mountain ranges, and kissing stones. Visit Belfast, Blarney, Limerick, and Waterford.'The Belfast reference clearly implies cross-border validity. However, further down it states 'Can I cross the border? Not with this Pass, as it’s all about exploring one country from top to bottom. Want to cross the border? Go for a Global Pass.'When you click 'Learn More’, it  gives the example: 'The Pass is valid for travel only in Spain and cannot be used to travel from the Netherlands to Spain'. The island of Ireland has two countries in it-the Republic of Ireland and the UK in the form of Northern Ireland. Yet the reference to Belfast above suggests that the pass is valid in both parts of the
