My daughter and her US friend want to travel through Europe next year. Are Interrail and Eurail tickets compatible?

Greetings. I am planning to travel with a family of 7 members to Europe in 2 months. I want to buy the Eurorailglobal pass for 4 days.  We are planning leaving Rome to Lausanne as the 1st trip. How do I do this? I have check the Frecciarossa. But I am confused if just with the eurorailglobal pass is enough or if they take it to travel.  I know I have to pay faside for a seat reservation, but when I enter the dates in the Eurorailglobal pass it does not show the dates I need yet.  Also, I do not feel confortable downloading the app to obtain the tickets due to the phone connection. I am a tourist. I want to print the EURORAIL global passes if I ended up buying them. I do not know if I must use the train or the plane. Please advise and explain. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hola viajeros/as. Estoy tratando de hacer una reserva en Euronight de Praga a Basilea en diciembre pero me indica que los precios no están disponible. ¿A qué se debe eso y que puedo hacer? Un saludo y gracias de antemano.

I have booked and reserved seats for a  trip on 2 Jan 2024 from Paris to Amsterdam. This will be the start of our eurrail journey. On the rail planner app it doesn’t find the train we have booked. It says not available yet? So I try to add manually and it won’t let me change the date to 2 Jan 2024? How can I do this

Hello,I have a 7 day one country pass  for France 2nd class and I started my travel today but the ICE in Germany was delayed and I missed my tgv.All of the next tgvs were fully booked for pass holders. Since I need to be in Paris the next day I had to book a first class ticket, which was sadly very expensive. I was wondering if there's any chance to get some money back?Thank you!

what are the additional charges for the eurostar 1 way Paris to London on the 2nd of Jan 2024 for our family of 2 adults and 2 students after I have purchased our global 7 days in 1 month pass ?

Hi I want to buy a pass with 4 days a month. Does that mean if I travelled for Two days would have Two days left that month. Also can I travel in England to visit people before my train from St Pancras same day before Midnight. As I stay in Scotland

Hi all,I hold an EURAIL pass. I am trying to book seat reservations from Zurich to Paris Lyon on 22d Dec 2023. However, the timetables does not seem t e updated in EURAIL/INTERRAIL website.Do we know when the latest timetable will be updated? Are there any other mechanisms to book seat reservations for TGV Lyria. I called SCF connect in Zurich and they cdnt assist either. I have booked other country seat reservations in DB/LNER/GWR websites. Am I required to tag those reservations with my EURAIL pass in my Rail planner app? or Do I just show my pass from the Rail planner app to the conductors? Am I able to use EURAIL pass within Switzerland? i.e Zurich->Lucerne or Zurich ->Bern etcAppreciate your response. Apologies if this was asked before.

Hello, I've just bought a 2-month, 15-day global pass because I want to do an all-Europe tour in November and December.I downloaded the app, I added my pass (WITHOUT ACTIVATING IT AT THE INSTANT)SO on the app I have a trip called "Tour d'europe" with the pass linked to it.But when I go to the website and log in then go to trip I have "My Interrail trip" which has been added automatically! I can't delete it, I don't know what it is and ESPECIALLY it says :Start date - October 13, 2023End date - November 12, 2024But what does this end date ???? correspond to? Have I done something wrong? Will I lose my pass on November 12? Why doesn't my trip on the app appear on the website? Please i need help i don’t know what to do and i don’t understand why i have this “My Interail Trip” that ends on Nov 12 on the website :/

Si planifico con Bahn.com como pasó dicho viaje a Rail Planner????

Si cambio de tren con asientos reservados , me devuelven el dinero de los asientos? Cual seria el procedimiento? Gracias!

Hi there noticed on the chat about somebody coming to Scotland and travelling to Edinburgh ,Inverness and places. Just asking can I do that in England for Two Three or Four days with my Interrail pass as I thought you had to put Date going out the country date coming back in the country. Sorry newbie to this. Kenny

Two of us are taking a day trip on our first class Eurail passes today, Oct. 13, 2023 from Ghent to Cologne.  The segment from Brussels Zuid (Midi) to Cologne is showing as “seat reservations not required” and the Eurail site is showing that I can reserve seats for a fee.   I went to OBB and tried to reserve seats, but it is showing that no seats are available for reservation on the 10:25 train to Cologne. We need to come back on the Cologne to Midi train at 17:51 and I haven’t checked yet for seat reservations on OBB, but would like to make them I can.  If OBB is saying I can’t reserve seats, does that mean seats are full or does that mean that they just do not handle the reservation?    Thank you.

Hi there ! This is the first time I am using Interrail:  I want to travel from Bratislava, Slovakia to Beograd, Serbia When trying to find the route in the app planner, I can’t find this tripDoes it mean my pass (5 days global) will not allow me to do this one? Or is there any trick so I can keep my plan as I was supposed to? I have the same issue for the next trip I had planned, which is from Beograde to Sofia, Bulgaria It seems Beograde is not available on the app planner, while the website shows the train station of the city as available  Thanks for your help !Roman

Cuando intento comprar un viaje en DB no encuentro Opción Descuento INTERRAIL.

Hi going to buy a 4 day interrrail pass. Before I do can anyone help with some answers. I have a lot of relatives in England can I use my pass to visit them. Or do I have to pop in to visit before travelling to Europe same day. And also can you travel Glasgow to say Gatwick Airport then fly out if you are short on days off. Thanks in advance

Hella, I’m travelling (family of 4) from UK to south of France next May, Saturday 25th. I can see there are tickets from London to Lille and Paris available to book seats now, the train I’d ideally like is the 11.04am from London to Lille. This train is on every Saturday basically until the 25th May when it disappears from the schedule. My question is therefore:Do I wait and hope this 11.04 London to Lille train will be included on the schedule closer to the time? Or, do I book one of the other ones in case the spaces sell out. The alternative one that works for us time-wise is the 12.31 London to Paris.I’d prefer the Lille 11.04 as the timings are better. I’m conscious that this Saturday is the start of the half term holiday in UK and a Bank Holiday Monday so it might be a busier weekend to travel on that those either side of it. Thanks for any advice.

Hello Dear, I need ro change eurial global pass from 5 to 7 days Should buy the 7 days one then refund the 5 days or can I exchange it immediately and pay the difference? Thanks

Hiya, I’m new to interrailing, this might sound like a really silly question but if I book a standard sleeper car for me and my girlfriend on the OBB Nightjet, will someone else be able to book the other bunk? Or do I need to book the deluxe one instead? As on the final booking page it says that there is the potential that someone else could book it. However on other messages and support websites it says that if 2 people book for the same room then no one else can book the 3rd bed? Or am i just majorly overcomplicating it? Thanks!

Hello, I plan on travelling from Germany to France on the first travel day via Basel SBB. I read on the official page that normally it would only be possible to really travel in Germany and France only without crossing a border. On the other hand I have read in this forum that Basel SBB should be fine as it is directly at the border of both countries and the operating trains are French or German. Can someone please tell me which version is true?Basel SBB just seems to be the easiest way for me, I dont want to go all the way north to Francfort just to cross the French-German border… Thanks in advance!

I planned a trip, adding my husband as a traveling companion.  The trip and reservations are on my mobile app.  How does my husband access that trip and add it to the mobile pass (Rail planner) on his phone ?

Planned trip below. Does anyone know if a Eurail Pass covers the train part of the London to Dublin (Sail/Rail) leg? Not counting that portion, I loosely priced out individual tickets and think it comes in at about $355. Looks like 8 travel days - would a pass be better?
