Haven't paid for our Eurail pass yet (still deciding which one is best for our trip)However, on the app, it is not yet showing any available bookings after 10th DecemberWhen should we expect these to be available/ thanks

Hi Guys , New here , how many days in advance can you book a  eurail pass? do night trains have s sleeper class?  Thanks

Hello all,On 18 October I'll take the NightJet from Vienna to Arnhem (and after then with the intercity Arnhem-Nijmegen), my homestay-country is The Netherlands. I don't want to spoil my inbound-trip for just 18 km (Emmerich(Gr)-Arnhem) and after then buying a full price ticket Arnhem-Nijmegen. DB and NS-International sells tickets with BahnCard 100, very handy for buying-tickets without having to pay for the German part, (not official, but CIV shouldn't have abandoned the possibility to sell tickets from and to the border.ÖBB sells Reservations with Teilgültigkeit, (but not online, so only optional if you live in Austria, or not so far-away from the Austrian border). How could I solve this? Buying a ticket Emmerich(Gr)-Nijmegen, or sending a mail to ÖBB for an option? Are here Dutch travellers who have had the same problem like me and which solution did they have found? And how much will a Reservation with ‘Teilgültigkeit cost more). Does someone have such ticket and could he/she put

Hi, I’m new to this Interrail thing, and I hope my question is not too stupid 😉I plan to do two trips with my two month global pass, so I won’t have any outbound and inbound trips left for the second trip. But here’s the thing: I’d like to finish the second trip with a night train journey to my home country. The destination of the night train is also my final destination, so there is no need to take an extra travel day for the inbound journey as described here.Is there a chance the app will accept this trip home as a “normal travel day”, or do I need to buy a regular ticket for this night train journey?

Hi, I’ll take the nightjet to Wels Hbf and in the morning I have to change trains to Salzburg around 7.30 in the morning. This takes 2 traveldays, while I thought it would be seen as one. If so, how can I change this? Thanks for your help.

I take the nightjet to Wels without an in/outbound. So I will start my travel at Emmerich (Germany). But Emmerich is not a stop so I can not check out (I do have a Dutch OV chipcard with discount). How does this work?thanks.

Hello, We are trying to buy a global pass and not sure if we should use it for  ferry rides in Interlaken or just pay out of pocket and not waste a travel date on the pass.

hi everyone. I am trying to book a direct train ride from TGV Lyria - Dijon to Lausanne but the train is not showing on Eurail app. I have entered it manually, but how do I find out if the train is available and how do I book it?

Hello, I booked a Eurostar reservation with SNCB quite a few months ago.I paid €34 and that shows in my PayPal account.I just happened to check the email today and when I checked my ticket there were two reservations, both in my name and for different seats. They are both for same day too. There is also a total dossier value of €64.Only one ticket brings up a bar code. The reason I am asking about this here is to see if anyone else has experienced this phenomena of mystery tickets appearing. Also, I don't have access to my phone number ATM (well not unless I pay for a days roaming with my provider and I have a data eSIM) but the only way to contact SNCB on the app is by phone.Does anyone know another way to contact SNCB? I am tempted to just leave this and on the day declare I didn't book that second ticket but I'd hate to be told I have to pay for a seat, or something.

Hello, Me and my two friends (18 & 19) are going on our first interrail trip next year, and i am a planner. so i’ve made a schedule and a map and now im making a budget. We are planning on either a two month or three month trip to 27 countries. My questions are:What has your day by day food and hostel budgets been like max-min or an estimate (in general or per country)Do you have travel recommendations such as hostels, sight seeing and food experiences. Name everything you’ve got as we will probably visit that country.Do you have some tips and warnings for first time interrailers what to do and what not to do-Sophia

Hi everyone!  I have an inter rail pass and want to book a train (outbound) from Bordeaux to Cologne (route goes through Paris). I have already purchased a France one-day pass, and would like to start my journey at the border city Basel SBB. Is my pass also valid for trains from Basel SBB to France?

Berlin.

I bought a seat reservation for the night train from Roma to Torino tonight. I saw there are still couchette beds available for reservation, and would love to make an upgrade. I just don’t know how to do it. Can I go to the station and ask for an upgrade to a couchette bed? Would it be possible to upgrade inside the train? There’s a strike affecting public transit in Rome today, so I doubt I’ll make it to the main station.Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

Hi I am planning to travel from Basel to Paris with one country pass (france)As it goes by TGV, i need to make seat reservationBut with france pass, i am not able to select Basel as france,I didnt find option Basel as France. Basel must be covered by France pasaHowever, interrail website doesnt allow me to make seat reservation with france pass. How can i make this?

Hello,I have a question about the validity for Eurail pass between  VALLORCINE (France) and MARTIGNY, GARE (Switzerland). The validity seemed OK. for yesterday, but not OK. for today.  Is this kind of situation occurred because of the weather condition? Now I am planning a long traveling in Europe for about 2 months. I am worry about that my planning can’t be completed smoothly because of the uncertainty and it will affect the  reservation for air ticket and aural pass.

Me asking a question instead of answering one!I will be using an Interrail Switzerland Pass, and I want to go from Zurich - Milan on EC313.Is Chiasso the final station of validity of the pass, so I’d buy Chiasso - Milan?Similarly, if I take EC53 from Bern - Milan instead, I’d have to buy a ticket Brig - Milan?

I was gifted a Eurail Global Pass, 1st class, for the duration of my trip to Europe. On my itinerary I have a lot of countries, including Italy but not Greece. I’ll be traveling in late fall.I have some room in my itinerary. I wasn’t planning on traveling to Greece, but I like the idea of a free “cruise”-like experience. But, since I have this pass, I’m wondering if I should do this with the ferries? My question is, what are the ferries like? If I have the opportunity to use them for free, is it worth making room in my itinerary for it?

My pass is until Oct 29, and I just booked my last train on Oct 29 and it’s Night Jet so it will arrive onOct 30. Should I book again?

I have tried entering my rail pass number numerous times without success and can’t get past that step to book / reserve a seat on a train from Florence to Torino. Any advice? I’ve tried multiples of combinations or other numbers that they might accept…super frustrating!

I’m planning to go from France to Switzerland, is it possible to sit faster route but not paying for the reservation fee.
