Solved

Hey! I'm planning my next trip, our idea is to do a 1-day trip (round trip) to Mont Saint Michel from Paris. I know it's not ideal, but for time reasons we will have to do it this way. On the trip planning page, I can add Mont St Michel, but when I go to find which train takes the route, it doesn't show me options, which makes me doubt whether I can actually use the Eurail Pass for this trip. Can I use it? How should I proceed?! I already understand that reservations are not made for this train... Another question that arose, I go and return on the same day, which should only be used for 1 pass (I bought the 15 pass for 2 months), how can I put it in the diary that doesn't tell me 2 passes?! Thank you very much

Can you get a refund for your Eurail pass if you’ve not used it yet or have not activated it yet?

Hi !As an Indian citizen living in Sweden with a work permit, along with my husband, we are planning a week-long trip to Germany in December. We intend to visit two or maybe three cities during our stay. Can anyone provide guidance on whether we should opt for a Eurail pass or an Interrail pass for our travels in Germany? Any help will be appreciated !Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! We are trying to book a bed reservation on the night train from Karlsruhe HBF to Berlin HBF, dated on the 17th of September (departing at 23:06 and arriving at 7:20). From the Interrail App, I can only book regular seats, while the app itself did show that there were more options (single bed, bed in a dormitory, etc...). In the reservation section, all these options disappear. How can I book a bed reservation if the system doesn’t show them?Thank you for your help

Hi! So, I was planning on traveling through the Balkans in June, starting off in Romania (fairly easy to access country) and was wishing to go from there to Belgrade (Serbia) and then Sarajevo (Bosnia) before maybe going into Croatia. Turns out though, that getting from anywhere in Romania to Belgrade is impossible - the Interrail timetables doesn't even recognize Belgrade as a location, which is odd.Looking into other Serbian cities, although they ARE listed, this image comes up with every single city connection. On the other hand, in the section about Serbia (https://www.eurail.com/en/get-inspired/top-destinations/serbia-train) on the interrail webpage it talks about several connections from places like Zurich or Bucharest. So, what is the deal? I hear it's impossible to cross over from Romania directly right now, but even if I get a bus to cross the border, how come serbian trains aren't even showing up?Sorry, I know the questions is kinda specific. Any sort of help is welcome. :)

Does the 22-day pass require me to ride the train continuously for 22 days?

First, the responses I’ve received on this platform have been great and have resolved several seat reservation issues.  So thank you.   I’m finishing up reservations on my 3 month European excursion and need to book Bordeaux-St. Jean to Paris Montparnasse for the morning of Dec. 13, 2023.  Eurail site has and the travel b Europe site, which I think is SNCF, have slots until Dec. 9, and it’s been that way for weeks.  I really want to proceed with another connection that evening, but before I book I need to confirm this Bordeaux to Paris leg.  I think I saw a phone number, but I’m in Southeast Asia and have Skype, so I don’t know if it will work.   Is there an alternative to the methods I’ve been trying (Eurail/Travel b Europe)?

Why is there a difference between the Interrail app and site? I want to take a train from krakow to Budapest, but the app shows: reservation needed. If I go to the interrail site it shows: you are ready to board for the same train.. Is a reservation needed for this trip?

I am an American student studying in Luxembourg for about 5 months in the Spring of 2024. I hope to be able to live in a city other than Luxembourg as I only need to be there 2 days out of the week for class. Paris would be amazing as it allows me to be so close to a major terminal. I know nothing about the train system and how it works in Europe. If I live in a city, for this example let’s say Paris, would it be possible to commute there two days of the week with a Eurail unlimited pass? Do they run often enough for me to catch one twice a day for these two days? Am I going to drown myself in reservation fees or is it similar to NYC subway’s “swipe your card, hop on, and then hop off” system? I also will be extensively travelling with the pass on days I do not have class, using it atleast twice per day, possibly more depending on where I end up. How easy is it to hop on a train and end up in a different country / how much in advance do I have to reserve them (show up to the station or

Meine Tochter hat ihr Ticket aktiviert, dann keine Reservierung bekommen. Gibt es irgendeine Chance, ein aktiviertes Ticket zurückzugeben?

Hello! I’m trying to book a reservation on a night train from Vienna to Paris (NightJet 468) for the 9th of November, but for some reason, there are no offers available for most of November at all, although there’s at least something for the whole of October.Am I too early? As far as I know, ÖBB usually opens reservations up to 90 days ahead, but maybe this train or this time is an exception. I'm worried that all of November is sold out already, though that seems quite unlikely. Thanks to anyone ready to help out in advance!

Good afternoon, my husband and I are about to travel to Switzerland in November with the Eurail Pass. It will be 4 nights, three and a half days (including the day of arrival). But I have a lot of doubts because I can't understand the Bernina website, among other things…. We will stay in Zurich. My intention was to take a day trip back to Bern and go to Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen, and on the last day take the Bernina Express to Tirano (with luggage) and continue to Milan. It's viable? Would it be the best alternative? Would it be possible to take another scenic tour besides the Bernina Express? Can I make reservations now? How do I make reservations and pay for seats?! Anyone who can help me, give me tips, I would be super grateful!!!!

I leave at the weekend and feel a little nervous about using my pass. I have a paper pass, travelling into Italy. Can I confirm, if the train doesn’t need a reservation, I simply write the journey on my paper planner and board the train? I sit anywhere that doesn’t have a reservation ticket on the seat? Is this correct? Also, do I need to validate my ticket? It has the start date on it and is a 22 day pass.

What exactly does 7 (or 10) days of use per month mean? Do they mean to use it 10 times? Or  talking about time?

I activated my mobile pass on my old iphone (but it still worked). Before starting my journey i bought a new iphone. I used iphone’s function to do a full copy from an old by phone to a new. Once done, everything works on the new phone. The weird part is that when i check ‘My pass’ in the rail planner app on my new phone, it seems ok. But I’m worried something is not ok as I read everywhere that I need to move it to my new device - but is this still required then? And if so, should I delete the active pass that i do see on my new phone?

I want to go from Paris to München on 22.09 and I made a reservation on two trains on the app. The first one need seat reservation but when I try to buy it it says “Prices Not Available”. One of the solutions posted said that I could go to the train station, but I’m not even in the continent. Other way was to go to the original train page and buy it there but I can’t find how to buy it from the SNCF.

Was trying to board a bus from Nantes to NOIRMOUTIER. Interrail tells me the ride is free with the TER replacement bus. However the scanner would not recognize the QR code and, being the last jus, I ended up paying 22 Euro for the ticket. I am still up for my journey back and very much would be interested on how to get a free reservation the bus driver recognizes.

I’m trying to book the high-speed train from Barcelona to Valencia (Renfe Euromed) on July 7th, however when checking all the popular websites to book online (Trainline, Renfe, Omio) there is no option to book this train. I have checked other dates out of curiosity and sometimes the train comes up and sometimes it doesn’t. For example, it is available to book on May 13, but not on May 12 or 14. Can someone please help?

Hi, I just reserved a courhette from Paris to Toulouse but it has the Eurorail pass on it, and I have Interrail pass will it still work or will I have to rebook again?

Hey team.I’m trying to book a ticket between Berlin Hbf and Amsterdam Centraal on the 19/11/23, either the 08:33 or 10:33 service.I’m unable to do so through the Eurail website. I’ve also tried OBB and DB sites, and I’ve seen ‘ticket not available’Does this mean the train is booked out? Am I not able to get on this train? Thanks.

We are booked, 1st class, on the 8:13 AM train from Paris Est to Luxemburgh.  How far in advance should we arrive at the station?
