So I’m planning to travel from Switzerland to Malgrat de Mar in Spain and have managed to add the journey up to Girona and make the necessary reservations. It seems that Malgrat de Mar is not in the Interrail Schedule but it is covered in the pass. What’s the correct way of manually adding the journey from Girona up to Malgrat de Mar?I have found out that it is possible to add the journey by entering Girona as the starting station and then just any other station in Spain as the destination. Then I can scroll down, add the journey manually and then change the destination station to Malgrat de Mar (and add the other info). While this does seem to work, it also feels like this really isn’t the intended way to do this and I am scared that the resulting ticket may seem suspicious to a ticket inspector. I have, however, not found any other way of adding a journey where the destination station is not in the schedule.

Hello, we are a group of 5 and we want to do seat reservations from Berlin to warsow. We have tried to book several hours and stations but we cannot find a train. Do you know if the app is not working properly ? Do we have any alternatives? Please help us we have already booked airplane tickets from warsow and we may not be able to leave.

Hello, what's the situation in the city? Can the pass also be used for local public transport (tram, metro, bus, etc.)?

Are there London UK perks or reduced cost tours for Eurrail pass holders? eg. Shows: Stratford or elsewhere, tours

Hi there. I am new here and I would like to know if there is somekind of night trains in any itinerary. How can I get such kind information?

Hello there!I understand that many Eurail trains have it, but from my past experience with other trips I know you can't trust it 100%. I'm worried that at the worst moment it might drop out or be very very slow. So I'm thinking of getting an eSIM as a backup.I've been looking at TooSIM for Europe. They advertise an automatic network switching feature at the border. From what I've read, it works good across Europe and costs less than other eSIMs like Airalo right now. I need 10GB and TooSIM costs $17 while Airalo is $31 for the same data plan.I'll be crossing borders 2-3 times a day on the train. Will eSIM keep working while the train is moving or is the train Wi-Fi better for that? Has anyone tested this? Is a backup eSIM even necessary or has onboard Wi-Fi become better lately?

Dear Community I’m attempting to book seats on the IC 306 Hamburg to Malmo (Stockholm) 9:51-15:35 on Tuesday 26 May. Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to find a site or app where I can reserve seats. I’ve tried Eurail/Interail, DB, Snalltaget, DSB, ÖBB, etc. without success. Can anyone enlighten me on how I can make a reservation as it says seat reservations are required. Thanks in anticipation Steve Passey

I go on a trip in two weeks and wanted to start booking trains ahead of time. I haven’t activated my pass yet because I figured I should wait until like a day or two before leaving. If I want to start booking trains in advance, how can I choose when I’ll use travel days and when I don’t want to? And should I activate my pass to start booking?

Hi everyone,This is our first time interrailing as a family. And sometimes when we have gone on the website we can see a map with the route and other times we can’t - am I doing something wrong, or is the website too busy?

Hello everyone,I have won the DiscoverEU pass and with it comes 4 free seat reservations. I have used 3 of them but would like to keep the last one for a different journey. When trying to book a seat reservation it only allows me to use the free credit. How can i pay for it instead of using the seat reservation?any help would be appreciated!kind regards, Oscar

Newbie here!  I have a trip with some journeys listed. I haven't activated my pass yet as I dont leave until September. On my trip list of journeys I dont see the yellow toggle on/off to add or remove to my pass.  Do I only get that after I activate my pass?

Hi! Me and my boys are on a trip right now. We have the Global Pass 1st Class and we are going from Vienna Hbf to Trieste Centrale on 13/05/26.When I put the exact train into my rail planner it says that we need a supplement on this route (to pass the boarder I think)Is this required for pass holders and does 1st class have anything to say in this case? Thank you.

Hey,We are going from Nizza to Barcelona today. We would have changed the train three times, however the second train from Marseilles I am in right now is heavily delayed and we won't get the next one.Thing is there are no reservations to be made for these following ones so we didn't pay money for it but all the trains we can now take instead are about 30€ for reservations (+like two hours more to wait). Is there any way to avoid having to pay for this train that we didn't plan on taking? Thanks in advanceStella

I have mislaid my seat reservation details.Where can I find them online?

Hi I have just recently purchased a ticket (11-May-26) for a trip that we are starting in  The pass is not yet activated and is valid until 11 April 2027. I have just tried to book the seats in the train that require reservations. I can book some of the trips but I have just tried to book section of it and it reads “Your Pass isn't valid on this date” 1st train I had to book was from Bruges to Paris on 20th August 2026. I could reserve seats2nd train was from Paris to La Rochelle on 25th August 2026. I could reserve seats3rd train was from La Rochelle to Biarritz on 27th August 2026. I could reserve seats4th train was from Biarritz to Castelnaudary on 6th September 2026. I could not reserve seats and said that my pass was not valid on this date? I tried the 3rd September and this was possible to book, but from the 4th September onwards I can’t book? Seeing that its a 2 month pass with 10 days on travel, I can’t understand why I can’t book a seat. Am I missing something? Any help greatl

Hey there, Im Pelin. This will be my first time interrailing and using an international train. I have a question about the train systems. So, I bought a pass for 5 days per month. When I was checking the timetable of some trains, I realized that some trains (from Prag to Vienna for example) say that there is a train change. Does that mean I have to get off the train and get on to another one? And if so, Is there a passport control on the train changes? And do they include the estimated time for everyone to get a passport check? As I mentioned before, This will be my very first time to travel with train, and as far as I experienced by traveling with plane, it takes quite a while to passport check. Do the mid-trip train change stations (or whatever they’re called) check for your passport everytime you get on and off a train? My other question related to this matter is the time of these trains. So I reserve a seat for a train ride, right. But what if my planned train takes off around 10pm

Questions for May 27-28-29 in London:By the last week of May, what time in the morning will the Elizabeth Line/Public transport overground rails ( useful with Eurrail pass) schedules start?*wanting to travel across London about 6am,   starting from  Stratford . Any advice for best Eurrail travel options, please?* for a day trip to filming sites including " Ted Lasso"  neighborhood & pub, and the football field, what & where are some of those locations? I need an earlier Eurostar from St Pancras international, London, same day to make a connection TGV in Paris. I have been unable both through Eurostar and Eurrail site to find a space to exchange Eurostar to an earlier time of day. I see there is only 50 minutes between supposed arrival (if on time!) to make 14 subways stops on a Friday in  Paris, not to mention the distance between above ground platforms to the subway/metro. Will I lose the $60+ booking fee I already paid on the Eurrail site? Meanwhile, each day booking and rates are increasing. My Eurostar/Eurrail bookings both made on the Eurrail site with my 1st class Eurrail pass for May 29 (14 days. It is the last TGV of the day (only 2 daily go to Les Sables d’Olonne, my destination. I have 2 case files waiting for answers from each of Eurostar and Eurrail customer service. This is time consuming. Help - Au secours! Un grand merci - thanks for your anticipated advice and you tube links to practical info.

J’ai pris un pass global 4 jours pour aller en Pologne cet été, mais il est impossible de faire le trajet en utilisant un seul voyage du pass. Est-il possible de le changer pour un 5 jours ?

I’m trying to reserve a sleeping compartment on IC 50417 night train from Krakow to Prague. I’ve tried on the cd.cz website but do not see where to add the Eurail global pass. Please help

Hi everyone,I'm planning a 2-week Interrail trip departing from Paris (France, my country of residence) and I have a question about the number of travel days I need and whether a specific train is covered. Here's my itinerary:- Paris → Lecco (via Zurich)- Lecco → Padua- Padua → Bologna- Bologna → Genoa- Genoa → Nice (where we'll spend 3 nights)- Nice → ParisI understand that with the Global Pass, I get 2 journeys in my country of residence: one to leave France (Paris → Lecco) and one to return (Nice → Paris), and that these don't count as travel days.My question is about the Nice → Paris leg specifically. Since we're stopping in Nice for 3 nights before taking that train, it will be used on a completely separate day from the Genoa → Nice leg. Does it still count as the included "return journey" in my country of residence, or does it need to be on a travel day?And just to confirm: does the app correctly calculate 5 travel days for this itinerary, or should it be 4?Thanks in advance!
