Solved

We will travel to Spain next week, starting from Germany and using the Deutschlandticket to Kehl and a train ticket Kehl-Strasbourg, so our first travel day will be a normal international travel day. Will we be able to use the saved outbound journey day for another trip later on? We have 10 travel days in 2 months passes.

I have activated my partners pass on my phone and duplicated my trip.  How do I connect the duplicated trip to his pass?

Is it possible for my assistant to download and set up my trip on her device and activate my passes, and then I log in on my device and all the trips and passes are there?

Hi,I was thinking of doing a long travel day, and my last train switch would be at 23:59 (still same travel day). I was wondering, if my train has delays and only comes at 00:20… is this a new travel day then?Thank you in advance!

Ich möchte im Oktober nach England und im Eurostar sind angeblich keine Sitzplätze mehr buchbar, obwohl für den Zug noch Tickets zu kaufen sind. Kann mir da jemand helfen?

Me and my girlfriend bought two global passes. She added me to her trip, but in my mobile app nothing changed and i cant ser the reservations that She made. There is something we can do? Are we doing something wrong? Thank you Im advance

Hello! I wanted to know if the best route to go from Bruges to Strasbourg on October 17 is the one vía Paris. If you have any suggestions I am open to them. Another problem is that the train from Bussels to Paris in this route appears as “sold out” of seats for pass holders. I dont know what is my better option. Thanks!

I want to book the train from Krakow Glowny to Vienna central station on Sunday 21st June for me and one other person. I have tried to book the 10:21am multiple times on the OBB Austrian railway website but every time I go through the whole process and then after paying it says ‘Reservation not possible’ and ‘Please change your reservation request’. I have tried multiple times on this website and as well on the PKP intercity website. Neither work and interrail says this journey requires a reservation. Does this mean the train is full, I’m too early to reserve the seats or something else? Any help would be appreciated :)

I purchased a pass a while back - whenever I go to book travel, I am stopped from selecting open seats. There is no option to do so? How on earth do I reserve seats in advance? This is absolutely maddening

Hi, I left some comments on this post:I have been waiting for more than 24 hours and can’t seem to see my comment and have not received any updates. Can anyone let me know why? Do moderators not allow comments? Are people being silenced on this post? I think this is a very bad sign of low transparency and suppression and makes me think that there is probably a huge number of people who wrote in to disagree and are not being allowed to share their thoughts in the name of “moderation”. I want to believe this is not the case but I am running out of explanations that would make sense. Thanks

Hello, we are a group of 4 travelling from Paris to Tabres on the SNCF night train. We all have Global Eurail passes. Two friends would like to join us on the trip by buying direct tickets from SNCF.Is there any way we can book seat reservations so all of us can get places in the same 6-bed couchette? As far as I can see the Eurail website allows to add only passholders. Thanks!

I wonder if anybody has a paper copy of the old interrail maps from the mid 1980s. on my first two trips I used the ferries from greece to Italy, which were then included free, and also went as far as marrakech, as morocco was also included, although the eastern block was not (yugoslavia was). I made a scrap book on my return from my first trip in 1982, which had the map from that year included. I also used a  thomas cook fold out rail map of europe, as well as the paper rail timetable book that they produced.  my route with the interrail started in Venlo, as we took a coach from London to Amsterdam, with the intention of hitch hiking to Luxembourg over the following week, but we only got as far as venlo (mostly by local short trains) . my journey then went : Lucerne, Lichtenstein, Innsbruck, Garmisch, Munich, Salzburg, Llubjana, Rijeka, Zagreb, Belgrade, Thessalonika, Athens, Bay of Marathon, Aegina, Patras, Brindisi, Naples/Pompei, Rome, Menton/Monaco, Barcelona, Madrid, Toldeo, Avil

I have booked SEAT RESERVATION on OBB bus from Venice to Wien .the car number is 404.I am Eurail global pass holder.I’m confused if I can take this bus free charge as global pass holder.I do not get any information regarding the bus stop in Venice.

Promo pass bought on 15th December 2025 when does it expire ? Thank you.

I am a new user and i have one key train journey for my holiday. I am concerned what happens due to a delay I miss this connection. Do I loose this journey or can I rebook to a later train? PLease can you advise/reassure me. Thanks

My wife and I have a Eurail pass. we need seat reservations for our last day of travel June 2nd from Bruges to Amsterdam. Preferably later morning. OBB was the only website I could find, but you have to print passes in Austria

So I’m planning my first interrail in my plan atm is to fly from Finland to Gdansk (real cheap) and start my rail from there! What trains should I take to get to Prague or is it just easier to fly straight to Prague or Krakow?  Thanks for any help!

Hei, we have seniot interrail tickets. We fly to Palermo first. We cannot get seating places to train from Palermo to Salerno 1.5, time 10.15. How we can pay them and get our tickets to phone?

Hi,We live in France, so using the pass can only leave and re-enter France one time. However we want to first visit London on the Eurostar for several days, then go to Brussels on the Eurostar. This London - Brussels train passes thru the north-east corner of France to get to Brussels, so does this constitute our re-entering France trip, even though we aren’t getting off in France? If so, do we then have to pay for the trip to return to France when we are finished travelling in the rest of Europe? Thanks for your help.

We are planning a trip to South West France and North West Spain in the summer around late July early August. I am really struggling to find trains from San Sebastian to Bilbao. Is it better to give up on it and take the bus?

Hello - I have 3 days in Lucerne in April and one of the trips I’d like to do is from Lucerne to Interlaken. I’ve seen lots of comments about not needing to reserve trains in Switzerland but thought I’d check it out. I’ve had a look on OBB and SBB and Rail Europe and can’t find any reservations available. It seems possible on the Eurail site itself. The only other place I can see to purchase them is at https://store.luzern.com/luzern_en/specials/daytrips/zentralbahn-int-lu   I’ve looked on there for 24th April and the seating plan shows quite a lot of seats are already booked so it seems as though it might be a good idea to book after all? Or could it be that only some seats are able to be reserved and the rest are left for people to hop on/hop off? Has anyone booked reservations via this shop? Many thanks for advice

Hi,I m travelling in Portugal with my girlfriend with our bikes. We were today in Lisbonne and we try to book a train between Porto campanha to  Pontevedra in spain passing by Redondela de Galicia. The problem is on the train between Porto an Redondela de Galicia the 9 of May at 8h10. And which arrive at 11h31 af Redondela de galicia. This train can be found on interrail timetable, can't be booked online with interrail and at  lisbon ticket office they said that the train do not exists because it stop at Vigo. I try to search it on CP and on RENFE app and effectively no train appear for this search. Does someone know if this train exist ?  (I hope yes) If not, does someone know how to be at Pontevedra before 17h (Spain hour) from Porto on Saturday (with our bikes but we can unmount and put them into bags).

Which train is the best to join Ankara from Istanbul?

Here’s a clearer and more concise version:I’ve reserved a seat but haven’t activated my pass yet. I’ve decided to change my travel date, but I wasn’t able to cancel the reservation. Can I make a new reservation for a different date and simply not use the original one?If you want it slightly more formal (for customer support), you could say:I have reserved a seat but have not yet activated my pass. As I need to change my travel date and was unable to cancel the original reservation, could you please confirm whether I can book a new reservation and leave the previous one unused? and would this affect in any way my past day travels?
