HelloAfter having purchased my interrail ticket, I am trying to reserve a seat from -Hamburg to Stockholm and-Stockholm to NarvikCurrently it is not possible for the 5-6 of August 2023. I also tried earlier but do not get the option to purchase a place in sleeping car of even a normal seat?Any hint most welcome!Yvan

I have a trip on my Rail Pass that requires a Supplement with a message that I can buy either at the station or onboard.  I do not not have a seat reservation as there has not been any mention of that being required.  Just want to check that it is okay to board and pay on board for the supplement.

Am I guaranteed a seat on a train which does not require a seat reservation?  I do have the trip loaded onto my pass.  Appreciate that I cannot sit in a reserved seat but I just want a seat.

HelloHere is the plan : I live in France nearby Switzerland and I will start my trip in this country, activating interrail once I got there. From there, I’m leaving for Italy, then I go back in France, but in Bordeaux, faaar away from home. The plan would be to go home using InterrailMy question is do we have two travel in the country of residence or does it have to be to or from an other country ? Because I don’t use Interrail to get out of my country, does it give me an extra one ?all the bestSimon

Hi there, may I ask if the pass is only for train or all the other public transportation within EU? For example, tram and bus?

We want to go in an hour. But we can not get our qr code.

I would like to to take the direct nighttrain from Vienna to Brüssel. I am German. I wouldn't get off the train, but it goes through my country. Does this count as a inbound/outbound day?

Hi,I am just a little confused about what I will need to do in order to be able to board the train. If anyone is able to advise me I would be most grateful.I have a pass with five travel days. I have activated the pass. As per the advice on this forum, I have not yet activated the travel day. My first travel day is Eurostar, London to Paris - I have seat reservations (and have a physical copy of these). When I get to the station this Sunday, I will activate the travel day. Is there anything else I need to do in order to travel? Do I need to add the journey to my pass, or do the physical seat reservations suffice?

2 adults, 2 kids (11 yo and 14 yo )  going from Costa Brava Spain to Paris on July 3. the one country pass is so much less expensive I’m wondering if there is a way to take a taxi or short train trip to Perpignan and then switch to the fast train? Or any other suggestions? We want to take the fast train and might do first class since its the kids first train ride and could be fun.

Hi. Having just returned from an amazing 2 month Interail tour of Spain,Portugal,Central and Eastern Europe my mind is turning to the next Interail adventure and Scandinavia in particular. A couple of questions for the group.Would it be more economical to get a global pass as opposed to individual tickets? Does anyone have a 3-4 week rail itinerary starting from Hamburg that covers Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. I’m Looking at doing a small cruise in or around the fjords at some point on the journey. Any thoughts on where best to break the train trip and do this.Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks John

Hi :)I am flying into Tallinn next week and cannot get the Rail Planner app to recognise the towns in between there and Vilnius. Any idea why? I was hoping to go to Parnu, Riga, Daugavpils, maybe Vilnius and possibly Klaipeda. Why is it so difficult?Tip and hints please! I am a solo female traveller in later years so want to get this sorted. I am actually considering cancelling my pass and making my own way as it feels like it would be less stressful. Thanks!

Hi. Me and my girlfriend have all our trains booked and reservations bought. My app popped up and said I must go online to keep my pass active. Does anyone know what this means?

Do I have any options for rail travel between CDG and Orly airports in Paris? I land at CDG on 18th June and need to get to Orly, which I see is miles away to the south of the city. I have an Interrail Pass (1st Class Continuous).

Hello,We want to go from Frankfurt to Barcelona from the 5th to the 6th and we cannot make the reservations now as we are starting our interrail in one week and cannot obtain etickets from these destinations. Could you help us find something ? It is not very reassuring for us not to have an option and buy them in situ. Thanks :)

Hi,We want to do Oslo - Bergen on the 23rd and Bergen -Oslo on the 26th (both at night arriving early in the morning the day after). We haven’t done the reservation yet and we are leaving in a week. We are concerned because we can only obtain paper tickets by reserving these trips and we don’t know if buying the ticket in site is the best idea. Can you help us with this matter? Thanks :)

Hello, on Eurail seat reservation confirmation page, gives an error “ Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart.”. am stuck and cannot reserve seats for my travels. can someone help?

I just booked reservations (2) for Lyria 9270 from Lausanne to Dijon in September. We were assigned side-by-side seats, but on the upper level of the carriage. Also, there are better seats available in other cars with club seating with a table. We are not happy with the seat assignment since we are both over 75 and don’t want to carry luggage up and down the steps in the carriage. Eurail needs to step up their game and allow either active seat selection or ask for seat preferences. I’m trying to contact them now to see if the seats can be changed. Any advice?

Hi everyone, I’d like to take the overnight train departing from Budapest on 23/08/2023 at 19h10 and arriving at Bucharest on 24/08/2023 at 11h19. I’ve tried booking the journey online through interrail website but it looks like I can only get the tickets delivered by mail. I’ve tried to book the journey directly on OBB and DB websites but I couldn’t go through with the reservation. Any thoughts or suggestions on a way to book this train and get e-tickets ?  Thanks !

Title says it all really. I am doing a trip around Europe and I want a night train from Zagreb to Split but the tickets are delivered by post and when I go to book it says that the tickets wont arrive in time so I can’t book the train. what do I do? I fail to understand how in 2023 a transport company can’t email you tickets but can post them to you which takes far longer.

Hello, I'm starting an interrail on July 5th and I have several questions. The pass I have is the 7-day pass in 1 monnth, and although the day I start the trip is the 5th, the first train is taken on July 7th, so when it comes to activating the pass I have to activate it for the 7th as the first day of the trip, right? Or can I put the 5th and that won't count as a travel day?And then, the first trip is from Amsterdam to Berlin, a few weeks ago I saw a train that I liked in the eurrail app but now it doesn't leave. However, on the website of the DB railway company if it comes out for that time, I would like to know a few things about this1- How can I know if that train is included in the pass? Because it doesn't come out on the schedule2- Can you make a reservation in DB if I haven't activated the pass yet? Or first I have to activate the pass and then get on the DB website to book

Morning! I was reading that the EC trains from Germany can sometimes get delayed so I wondered if any of you seasoned travellers could have a look at my route and let me know if you think there’s enough room in there should there be any slight delays. Ciao a tutti. Isabella Manfrini

Hello! I am going to buy a global pass on the train page of my country "Renfe". Once purchased, they tell me that they cannot give it to me digitally and I prefer to have the pass on my mobile for greater comfort and not wait for it to arrive at my home physically and lose days of travel. Could you give me the digital pass somehow? Thank you very much!

I accidently activated my pass and the validity has started. Is there anything i can do about this? i want to deactivate my pass or change the validity date.
