Solved

Hello, my passport says I only have 2 travel days left, but it should be 4! I've also gone through all my travel days again and I'm sure I've come up with 11 of 15 travel days.

I am traveling to Paris, wanting to take a train to Barcelona, then flying from Barcelona to Rome. From Rome I also need to take a train to Ancona and back. I was wondering if I could use the 4 day pass to travel from Paris to Barcelona via train, then after I fly to Rome use the pass again to take the train to Ancona and back. I would really appreciate an answer, thanks.

Hello there This Summer im going to travel for 12 days. But I only need to use the Train on 7 Days. Can I buy a 7 Day pass and only acitvate it on the days I need the Ticket? The Railmap Planer tells me to buy a 12 Day Pass. And what if a Travel over night? Will the Pass by avilable for 24 hours or until I end the Ride?Thnkas for the help :)

Hi, I bought a Ouigo ticket for a train from Chartres to Paris this afternoon to 1) avoid being stuck in Chartres waiting for the next TER, not even being certain there would be another, and 2) ensure I could arrive at my final destination in time to check in at my accommodation on time. I had to pay EUR 18 for the ticket. I have a valid global pass. I am glad I did it because it now looks like I will arrive in Amiens on time to check in (train now leaving Paris Nord (18:31) and I'll now arrive at Amiens around 19:40, walk for 30 minutes, check in around 20:15 and thus beat the 21:15 check in deadline. If I had waited at Chartres - with the many other unfortunates hoping to get back to Paris, I would have had serious problems. I have been checking TER info all afternoon and it seems to only have restarted from Chartres around 18:00. This would not have been sufficient for me to meet my check in. As things stand, even with the step I took, I'm arriving at Amiens well over an hour later

Hi! We are planning to buy a four-day Swiss Interrail pass. One day, however, we will visit a city in Germany (by train from Bern to Freiburg). I am wondering how it works in this case. Will the interrail pass still be valid for the Swiss section and the ticket only needs to be bought for the German section? Thanks for your answers! :)

Hi! I need a little help to book seats with my friend. I did a little digging before on this community, but I haven’t found an answer to my problem. But first context:My friend and I won (separately) an Interrail Global Pass thanks to the DiscoverEU contest. We have mobile passes.  I tried to add her pass to my travel, in order to be seated next to each other (and also be on the same cabin in a night train). But after I entered her name and her pass number, it said: “We can't add this traveller to your trip because of different pass conditions. You have to book seat reservations separately."But as I mentioned before, we have the EXACT same pass: same type of pass, same validity period (7 days within 1 month), same start and end dates. Do you have any idea why it says that? How can I solve this problem? If it can't work, is there any other way for us to seat together on the trains? Thanks in advance for your help,Charlotte :)

We are travelling to Europe in August and I am having trouble paying online for my passes. I have called my credit card issuer and they said everything is fine and that I haven’t put through an attempt on their end. I don’t understand. Anyone have similar problems?

After I made seat reservations on Eurail.com., I was able to see my ticket from London to Paris on Eurostar app, but I couldn’t see my ticket on SNCF (TGV) app from Paris to Strasbourg. Why is that, and what can I do?If I make a seat reservation on OBB for Italy, will I see my tickets on OBB app?Thank you in advance.

Ya tengo el pase global ,y ya cree los viajes en la aplicación ,como hago para reservar asientos en esa misma aplicación ?

Hello!I'm heading to Europe this summer, my first solo and DIY trip in the region! I'm particularly heading to the ff areas in a span of 40 days:SPAIN - Barcelona (June 27- June 30)ITALY (flying in from Barcelona) - Rome, Florence, Venice (July 1 - July 11)SWITZERLAND - Geneva, Aigle, Montreux, Sion*, Lausanne*, Leysin* (July 11 - 16)CROATIA (flying in from Geneva) - Dubrovnik, Split, Plitvice, Zagreb (July 16 - July 21)AUSTRIA - Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck (July 21 - August 4)HUNGARY* - Budapest* (sometime between July 21 - August 4) *not yet sure if I'm heading to these destinations but good to have them as options I hope someone can provide clarification and other details to my following questions:(1) I couldn't count yet how frequent I need to take the train, and I prefer to be flexible. Is the Eurail global pass my best option? It's a bit pricey for me but would consider if I can make the most out of it (i.e. most number of trips, most convenient for traveling with a luggage).(2)

My wife & I want to travel from Berlin to Stockholm overnight 5 October 2023.I see that the train runs from Hamburg to Stockholm on this date so we will travel Berlin to Hamburg late in the day & connect with the SJ346 departing Hamburg at 21:19.If we travel Berlin to Hamburg to Stockholm - that’s 2 train trips on the one day - does it count as only 1 Eurail pass trip for each of us?I’m also confused about the types of sleeping compartments available, We are 1 x male & 1 x female; what type of compartment do we book? Also there are ‘Seat in sleeper compartment (1660SEK) or ‘Own sleeper compartment’ (1654SEK). What is the difference? The later would be our preference. All help/advice appreciated. Thanks

Help. I’m trying to add my boyfriend and myself as travelers to a trip. I run into two problems when inputting the paper pass details.Eurail B.V. is not listed on the Issuer drop down list. I selected DISCOVEREU TRAVEL PASS (CIV 9901)  Pass Cover Number returns an error. PASS COVER NUMBER DOESN’T LOOK RIGHTI’m looking to make reservations but can’t if I can’t add travelers. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

HelloDo you have to add every individual journey on a travel day? Isn't the point of the global pass that you can use any valid train, bus or ferry on the travel day e.g. I have 15 days in 2 months, so on any of the 15 days I can just use the pass for any valid travel? So why do I have  to add eCh journey individually? And how can I add bus journeys when it doesn't search buss stations or time tables. I just have to add the bus manually and guess the times? Or do I have to search timetables elsewhere and then add that way?  If so, this is ridiculous and time consuming. What happens if the bus or train is late or delayed and the travel times you entered are wrong?

Hi all! I would like to exchange our 4 days in 1 month pass to 5 days in 1 month, but i already booked seat reservation. Can i still keep the seat i reserved with my 4 days in 1 month pass? We will start our travel on June 26, 2023

Hi everyone,I'm trying to book a journey of Paris to Venice via Milan.Me and my family have 6 x 2nd class Global Passes. When I come to reserve the seats on the first connection (TGV from Paris to Milan) it says only 1st class option is available. Is there an option to pay extra and upgrade on this journey? This is the only direct train for this journey that is valid on euro rail. There are others available, with 4 connections but as we have two seniors in the group, one with limited mobility, I do not want to have ro do that. any help and advice or a direct number to speak to someone would be highly appreciated.thank you

We would like to travel next spring (2024) to Prague, Krakow, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Sofia and Istanbul. Can we reach all of these on a Eurail pass?

I purchased my DB Bahn seat reservations from the Interrail website. I received a PDF with a blurred QR-code. I wonder is there a way to transfer these tickets to the DB Bahn app instead of having various PDF-documents?The app asks for a 9-figure order number, but that can’t be found on the PDF. It just says Eurail.

I have 27 years old right now but when I start travelling I have already 28. Can I use a "young pass" or is compulsory for me to use the "adult pass" ?

Hello. Does anyone know how to book a seat reservation? I bought a global pass but haven’t been able to reserve.

I would be visiting Switzerland in 2 weeks (first time) for a total of 4 full days (& 5 nights). We are a family of 4 (2 Adults & 2 kids of 6 & 9).I have a Eurail Global Pass, which I want to utilize to the fullest during my stay. While Switzerland is so beautiful, with so many places to visit, I have become very confused as to how to plan my literary there.I want to use Glacier, Bernina & Glacier Expresses as well as utilize other regional trains & ‘included boats’ to visit as many places as possible. Now as already stated, I am so confused that I am not able to make a plan as what to do each day. With a blank slate & no plan, I would really appreciate if you can give your suggestions from experience as to how to plan my 4 days, wrt above mentioned aspects.I am more interested in utilizing the 100% included transport means, while I will make plans for the paid stuff (like cable cars etc) separately/afterward.My place of Residence is in Geneva.
