Hi everyone! I will travel in August:Barcelona to Toulouse: I wanted to do Barcelona - La Tour de Carol with line R3 of Rodalies de Catalunya (Renfe) and then La tour de Carol - Toulouse with TER (SNCF). On another date I want to take a TER Lyon - Annecy. For the Rodalies de Catalunya R3 train, do I just walk in the train and show my pass to the ticket inspector? Is there anything I should be aware of? I know how Spanish stations work (I am from Barcelona) but I don’t know what I’ll need inside of the train. For the TER, same question: do I just get in and show the pass? I read somewhere that last year TER trains in south-east were taken out of interrail but shortly after the pass was accepted again so I guess it should be okay. All the information you can provide will be highly appreciated! Thanks everyone for your help 😊

Strasbourg to Paris in August reservation booking portal entry spinning out different booking prices or will display as not available for booking. Eventually paid £38.28 for 2 second class reservations is this the correct price.

Hello! My family and I will be in Vienna for 3 nights at the end  of June (as part of a two week trip in Europe) and wondered if a day trip to Bratislava might be a good idea and is it best to get the bus or train? (It won’t be using one of our Interail travel days.) Many thanks in advance.

Buenas!

On google maps the route is7am Roma Termini to Napoli Centrale 8:12am, then 8:21am Piazza Garibaldi to Sorrento 9:34am.  I can only find 7am train on italiarail.com but no connecting trains on oebb app from Napoli Centrale/Piazza Garibaldi until 11:35am although google maps show differently (but that also no bus tickets for LK029 change from Napoli Afragola to Sorrento).  Is the entire route covered by eurail?how to buy tickets for the 2nd leg after arriving at Napoli Centrale? What’re my best options without boat pls?

Hello, it’s the first time I would use interrail to travel and I have few quesiton to know how it works better: part of my travel would need to go from Porto to Geneva, than back to Porto again, to leave for slovenia after few weeks. is it possible to do back and forth in the same cities ? or you are allowed to stop only once in one city?

I am coming (first time) to Italy with a Family of 4 (including 2 kids of 6 & 9) this June. I have a Eurail Global Pass & my travel plan is as follows:June 23rd - Geneva to Rome June 25th - Rome to Florence June 27th - Florence to Munich July 7th - Munich to MilanI would prefer Free or Low-cost travel on all the above routes. Now coming to my route-wise queries:Geneva to RomeThis is the trickiest one & would really need your detailed guidance here. I have two options for this route:Option 1 (my preferred option if it can be executed, as with it I can also experience Bernina). Getting on Bernina Express from somewhere and reaching Tirano. Then take the regional Bus to Milan. Lastly, Travel from Milan to Rome on a regional train. Option 2. Take any available trains from Geneva to Rome. Now coming to my questions related to this route:Is Option 1 feasible? As to hop on Bernina, I first need to reach some point and do not know if I can reach in time to catch Bernina. I have no i

Hi. I would like to book an overnight train from Mannheim to Prague, at 23:42 on 20 August. The Deutsche Bahn website has two train references for the same time: EN40459 and EC459 (see screenshot below). The EN train has couchettes and the EC train has seats only. The times are the same and, I guess, are actually the same train but with different sections for couchettes/seats. The Eurail booking/reservation system shows only the EN train, and requires reservations, but there are no spaces available for that either through the Eurail website or through the Deutsche Bahn website. Spaces on the EC train are available, and I would like to reserve that, but that train does not appear in the Eurail booking system so I cannot add it to my pass. I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas how I can add the EC459 train to my Eurail pass, or otherwise how I might make this work? Thanks,BK

I have a Eurail Global Pass and have to travel from Antwerp to Copenhagen on 30th June and from Copenhagen to Munich on 5th July. We are a family of 4 including two kids (6 & 9).While trying to book a seat (departure 0905 hrs) from Copenhagen to Munich, Bahn.com always gives me an error after I try to make payment (tried multiple times):The Current Transaction has been aborted due to an errorI have changed the payment methods as well as changed the computer, but the same error always comes. How to resolve it, as the seats might get finished soon.Secondly, can you guide me on how to reserve my seat from Antwerp to Copenhagen on 30th June? I mean which website and how to enter my Global Rail Pass?

Hi, I would like to know if i can do seat reservation for TGV trains at Torino Porto Susa? Is there like a TGV counter there or something?

Hi,  Me and my girlfriend are staying in Copenhagen this evening before heading to germany. Anyone know places to swim? Go for dinner? (Healthy)

Hi,Hope you can help me out: I want to know if this railpass works between european countries and how easy is to book them.Context:I will be there with my girlfriend mid July to mid August visiting on holidays We will visit France, England, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Italy in that order I already bought outside the pass the trains between France-England and England-Belgium because is the start of our journey (maybe i wasted money, but sometimes you lose) We want to travel between cities in the afternoon because we want to avoid getting at night to our destination. My questions are:It’s really granted that i will have my train tickets (2) or this seat quota is difficult to get (the flight in is in 5 weeks) in a specific day? We are two so it’s possible to reserve the two seats at the same time? The local travel includes the metro or it’s specifically to inter-city trains? Thanks in advance and I apologize for my english.Saludos

How long do I need for connections, for example at Karlsruhe Hbf, is 30 minutes enough time to transfer trains?

Hola! Soy chileno, y vivo hace un par de meses en Madrid con visado de estudiante de larga duración, pero el visado de estudiante califica como “estancia” y no como “residencia” española, entonces no sé que pase puedo usar.

I guess made a mistake in Purchasing Eurail Global Pass (for a family of 4 including 2 kids of 6 & 9 years age)I was already on a TIGHT BUDGET :’(Anyways, I purchased a 15 Days Pass (not activated yet) that I thought will work for 2 months, but I just came to know that it works for a month (straight with no breaks??) and a 2-month flexible pass is separate. So if I cancel this pass now for a refund and get a new 15 day flexible pass, I will have to pay an extra amount as follows:Loss when canceling & getting a refund on the previous pass - $154 Additional amount to be paid when purchasing a new 15 days flexible pass - $262 Total additional amount to be paid - $422In case I don’t cancel the existing pass and do the additional journeys without a pass, the following two options exist:Option 1 - Journeys without Pass (depends on … if I activate the pass on 23rd June & it deactivates on 8th July)Paris to Annemasse on 18th JuneOption 2 - Journeys without Pass (if I activate the Pa

I need to know if the fee for the seat reservation is the same in the 1st class and the 2nd class, cause I want to reserve de 1st class pack, but i don’t know if the reservation seat fee is the same in both classes for example: in the app, the fee for Paris to Amsterdam is 34 euros, my question is: if I buy the 1st class pack, the fee for seat reservation will be 34 too??  thanks

I am planning a trip to Italy and then on to Paris. We are from Canada and this is our first trip like this overseas. We are flying into Rome staying 2 days and then from there were going to take the train to Florence, Vienna, Milan and then onto Paris. I was told I would need to get an EUrail pass. Is this the right pass or is there a better one to get ?  I was thinking of the 10 days for a month ,if that is the right rail pass to buy would that be enough? In Italy we will be spending about 2 days in each city( we don’t a much of an agenda for the last 3 cities in Italy we just want to explore and see what we can) and then finishing out our trip in Paris with about 10-11 days there( we have an agenda planned for Paris .( I  know that I need a different pass for the metro in Paris which I will have to get there) I did notice that the train to Paris from Milan show 2 ways and one is though Switzerland, we want to see the country and thought this would be a nice way to go if we can  Do I

Family of 4 - just purchased 10 day / 2 month passes 1st class. After considerable time trying to understand how to use app have just attempted to book a high speed train from Paris - Venice or Verona on Aug. 16 though nothing appears available - even in the surrounding days . I have looked via various rail sites/apps also. Is extremely frustrating . My question is , are these high speed trains yet to be schedule released - or are they actually sold out. And if they are sold out - will I assume the alternate trains  (slower / 9 hours ) which can’t have seats reserved will be extremely busy so can’t guarantee a seat? Appreciate advice. Thanks

Can I travel to any station in the UK? And can I travel with any train company (there are so many)?

How would I get my family through a ticket barrier with Interrail, if all our tickets are on one phone and we cannot speak the language of the country that we are in?
