Question... when traveling in trains can I carry two bags (one is backpack and second is a small suitcase bag)? Thank you in advance

On 1st July, I will be travelling from Zurich to Amsterdam! I have already made my sleeper reservations on NJ402 thru OBB, which shows it's a direct train. Later, I went to Eurail to book the train, however, there comes the confusion. In Eurail, the train with number NJ402 shows that I need to transfer to another train in Utrecht (IC 3022). If I select this, the train journey will be counted as 2 days, instead of one.  There is another option for a direct train, which weirdly departs on the same time. The number of that train is IC 60402.  Now, I am very confused which option should I select. Is IC 60402 and NJ402 the same train? I don't want to waste 2 days on a single train journey, where in reality, it is supposed to be a direct train. Help will be much appreciated 👍

Je ne trouve pas de trains pour quitter la Grèce, avez vous une idée de comment je peux faire ?

I’ve been trying to book a seat from Paris to Antibes for the past couple of days, but every time I try to get to the “review payment” page, this error message keeps popping up for multiple days/times - one of the legs of your journey is not available anymore. Please try searching for another connection. Does this mean that all railpass seats are sold out?

Hello all,If anyone could assist with the following inquiry it would be much appreciated.I currently have been living in Turkey, we own a flat here.  Is Turkey considered as part of Europe?  From what I’ve read it seems as though it is.   I ask this question because it makes a difference whether I purchase Eurail pass or Interail passes for an upcoming trip to Europe.Thank you, Mark

Hi everybody!I try to find the answer on the communiste but i do not find it.I bought an interrail pass but i was not aware about the difficulties with bikes!!! :)I finally find how to book tgv in France with bikes (call sncf many times to find someone Who know the way or go to the train station) and i am now in germany. It looks easier but i have à doubt. So i try to book train from mannheim to munchen the 18th of july with 4 bikes.the options bike and interrail are available on DB.com :)At the final, it proposés to me tickets at 18€ for 4 tickets. It looks that it is the seat booking fées without bikes and the website does not speak about bikes at all.Do you think that the bikes are included or not ?Must I call DB to book for the bikes ?I hope you understand my doubts! Thanks for your help!

I wanted to go from Trondheim to Sundswall on June 6 roughly but I cannot find the leg between Storlien SW and Sundswall. Direct. It only suggest a route through Lillehammer etc 24 hours long... Please help. Thanks.

I want to take the train from Sundvall (Sweden) to Trondheim (Norway) via Storlien. I am planning on doing this in July.If I check the Rail Planner app I don't see this specific option. But if I check the Vy website (transport in Norway) it does give this option. Just not in July because that is too far in the future. Does this track still exits and does the train ride in July? And is it possibele to take this train with the Global Pass?Thank you!!

I have booked seats on EC175 from Berlin to Prague in July. We are a family of 4. It appears the seats automatically assigned 4 window seats Pl 81 82 85 86,   Any ideas how to change this the contact form on the DB website errors out when I try to complete it

Hi! I’m travelling solo this summer throughout Europe, and this is my first time using eurail!  I bought a 22 days pass so I’m hoping to travel by train as much as possible (in terms of travelling between cities/ countries) and not resort to other transport such as plane/ bus etc..  I need to go from Copenhagen to Amsterdam (or Utrecht) on 27 July, which requires me to first take a train to Hamburg  I saw on the DB website (https://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en?ld=43108&protocol=https:&seqnr=1&ident=2s.08833108.1685120803&rt=1&OK#hfsseq2|2s.08833108.1685120803) that I can go by a direct night train EN345 which operates on 27 July 2023 and is operated by SJ and reservation is compulsory I then went to SJ’s website (https://www.sj.se/en/kop-resa/valj-resa/K%C3%B6benhavn%20H/Hamburg%20Hbf/2023-07-27) to make a reservation but couldn’t find EN345 here nor any trains by SJ from Copenhagen to Hamberg that allows me to reserve any trains   Now I have these questio

Help! I booked London St Pancras to Lille then Lille Europe to Paris Nord. The Lille Europe leg is cancelled due to strike. What are my alternatives? Can I exchange them? Eurail Pass user. Family of 8. Travel date 27 May

Hi Guys. The Planner on the App does not let me book a Renf Train from Malaga to Fuengerola. Is this route not on the Inter Rail/ Eurail Network? Cheers Andrew

Quiero comprar una reserva desde warsovia a Viena y en la mayoría de horarios me dice " es posible que se hayan agotado para esta conexión"Falta más de un mes, es posible???

Looks like majority of the fast trains are scheduled and seats available (but with the ticket only) much (even months) earlier in Trenitalia than in interrai.eu book reservations. Any tips how to get the seat reservation when you have bought the interrail ticket  already when schedules, tickets and seats available in Trenitalia? Cancel interrail ticket and buy tickets for Italy directly from Trenitalia?

Hi! I’m trying to check my route from Trieste to Zagreb in early September on the Interrail website to see if I need to make any reservations. At the moment the system is only showing one route (14h via Udine and Villach).I checked on the Deutsche Bahn website for the same day (7th Sept) and they’re showing a much simpler route taking the train via Ljubljana. Is this included in the Interrail pass, and if so, do you need a seat reservation?(also any reason why this isn’t showing up on interrail itself?)Thanks!

I am an individual who won a pass and I had a group of 5 friends who have also won a group pass. Because I didn´t want to go on my own, I have decided to go with them, having already paid for all of our Airbnbs. My question is if I will have to face any constraints regarding seat reservations ( having to be in a different place than their group or having to pay more) or regarding trips ( a trip that they are in is fully booked and I will have ot take another train all by myself). Apart from that, I would be tremendously thankful if you could give me any information regarding an individual person joining another group!

Hello! So…what should I start with? Long story short…I want to buy seat reservations for Warsaw Centralna-Berlin Hbf on 22nd of June at around 12 o’clock. Last week I ve noticed several changes. The train EC44(EIC44) leaves now from Warsaw Gdanska and goes only to Berlin Lichtenberg…because of construction work on both sides…departure at 12:15 and takes longer. But thats not the problem. Problem is that seat reservation is still not possible. Moreover, the train shows now only on interrail mobile app and on intercity.pl. This connection doesn’t apparently exist anymore on interrail website or on db(bahn.com). I talked with both sides, the oddness is in the air. Soo if at first I wanted and couldn’t buy seat reservation, now I m not sure even if I am able to board it :)))so is anyone so kind to help us telling whats going on with this connection and how can we buy seat reservation? It s a 6h trip so standing isn’t an option. Thank you for any help :)

Took a train yesterday from Madrid to Malaga which got delayed by a little over 30 minutes.Upon arrival at Malaga some passengers were queuing up to file for refund at the station ticket counter but since I was in a hurry I didn't bother. Also, since I only paid the reservation fee in combination with Global Eurail pass and not the full ticket price, I wasn't sure if there are refunds on the reservation fee as well just like full fare tickets.Thought I would ask here if someone  can shed some light on this... basically the query is two-fold: 1. Are the reservation charges refundable on delayed Renfe high speed trains?2. Can a refund be claimed online or does one have to physically fill a form at the counter? Thanks in advance for your time. ..

I am a Philippine citizen but working in Spain with an NIE # and thus a resident registered in Malaga uas Alta Cualificada until October 2024.My partner and six year old daughter who are also Philippine residents are currently visiting me in Spain under tourist visas.Since we want to travel around Europe via train, can we get three Eurail passes, or should I -- as a Spain resident -- have to get an Interrail pass while my partner and daughter get the Eurail Pass? Additional info:As I have a conference in Amsterdam, I am flying from Malaga to Amsterdam and so will my family. From Amsterdam, our plan is to use Eurail pass to travel to France, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy before going back to Spain (either Seville or Madrid), all on train.

Hello,I’ve done a trip once with interrail. So I know the basics, inbound-outbound, travel days, the difference between trip and journey etc. I was using a flexi paper pass back then. Now I am planning to do another trip and I have few questions about the mobile pass.My understanding is that once I activate it (and I need to do this in order to book the reservations) - my trip gets fixed and I cannot change it, i.e. I am going from place A to B on the days X, Y, Z and I cannot change it either to be from place A to C or on days, X, Y, Q.But does it really work like that? I remember when I used paper pass each day I could decide that I want to travel that day and get on that or another train. I had a lot of flexibility.I would like to give an example below:Let’s say I need 4 travel days: 13, 14, 18 and 30th I need to book a reservation for a train on 13th. If I understood correctly, in order to do that I need to submit a trip in the app and activate my pass. From that moment my trip  is

I’m pretty overwhelmed trying to figure out what passes may be necessary for June 2023 trip for 4 travelers (2 adults, 2 youth). Could someone assist? Generally, I think my questions are:Do we need Global Passes, and what exactly will it cover/not cover of the travel locations below? If not, what do you suggest? Is an extra pass required within Germany, Switzerland, Austria, or Italy? Are there certain times or lines which might require actual reservations? If so, should I book those far in advance or a couple days prior? Below is our itinerary:Day 1 (13 Jun 2023): Arrive at Vienna airport, get to Westbanhof (Might this be covered by Global Pass?), Day 2 - Vienna (will Global pass cover getting to and from Westbahnhof to Stephansplatz/Vienna?) Day 3 - Vienna to Salzburg Day 4 - Salzburg to Munich Day 4-5- In and around Munich (Does Global pass cover travel within Munich, To/From Dachau?) Day 6 - Munich to Zurich, then Zurich to Lucerne (This is where I get really confused. Are Switzerl

So I'm trying to book an outbound trip back to my home country, but whatever I do it won't let me do it. Also noticed that the travel day is being used as an in/out bound journey which should not be the case since it’s a outbound journey... Also the app is so backwards, sometimes it tells me to do actions on the website… For what do you have an app for then?
