Hello, is there any chance that there are train connections available between Skopje (Macedonia) and Sofia (Bulgaria) or Istanbul (Turkey)? On the website, these connections are shown but not in the Rail Planner App.I want to go in August and don’t think that I’m too early because there are already train connections shown from Sofia to Istanbul. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I am currently looking to book different train rides for my trip, and was able to make reservations for many of them. However, certain rides were “Included” in the Eurail pass. I am wondering how I can retrieve a ticket for these “Included” rides as I do not want to end up without a train to go to my next destination. Moreover, I read on the website that the pass offered discounts on different ferries and activities. Since I do not want to miss out on these discounts, I was wondering how it would be possible to book ferries right now and benefit from the discount. Thank you for taking the time to answer me. Hugo Pepin

have booked a train from Munich to Florence and paid to get reservations.  I got tickets for the reservations but nothing for the actual eurorail reservation.  Am I supposed to get a ticket for that or is the seat reservation that ticket?

HelloI want to take the 1 country interrail pass for Italy. I'm located in France. Does the pass include the train from France to Italy or I have to take a different ticket

HiI am trying to book a night train on 15th July for 2 adults and 3 children. I can’t manage it for the five of us but can get a reservation for us if I split the group into 2,2, and 1. However I assume this means we are all in separate compartments - is there a way to tell? Or does anyone have a number for OBB that works from the UK. Or are there any other ways to book this train. Thanks in advance

I want to ask when is the suggested time for us to arrive before the train departs? Also, do I need to conduct some administration procedures before boarding the train in the first traveling day of my pass? If yes, how long does it take?

Hi to all,We’re trying to make seat reservations for the 12:40 train from Glasgow Central to London Euston on july 20th (VT 6680). For some reason it is not possible to make seat reservations at all in that week. A week earlier (f.e. 13th of july) it is possible, A week later (f.e. 27th of july) it is also possible. Anybody know why it is not possible to make seat reservations in that week? Ofcourse we can travel via Edinburgh to London but that’s not the route we would like to travel.Any help is appriciated.

I made reservations (for two people) a couple months ago. Now the train times have changed. There is no train at the original time.Amsterdam to Cologne: was ICE #127 dep 14:38, arr 17:16Now it’s ICE #157, dep 14:08, arr 17:21.Virtually the same train, but different train number, and I don’t know that the reservation will carry over automatically. I don’t want to get to the train and not have our reserved seats.I can’t figure out how to change the reservation online through Eurail.com.I have submitted a support request, and I hope to hear something from Eurail. What does anyone else know about this topic?

HelloCan I purchase 2 Interrail global passes if we will be travelling together or do I need to buy 2 separate passes (one Interrail and 1 Euro). If so, how will this affect our travel?Thank you

First time Eurail pass user, and I can’t seem to grasp why the reservations don’t all show up in the same place.  I have read 0n many forums that reservations won’t show up on the app, and I understand that and how you can add it to the planner.  What I don’t understand is with one particular leg of the trip. We have a trip taking the train from Paris to Venice in mid June of 2023, that we purchased through the Eurail app. We have a 7 day pass and this trip is the only one that is marked as a day used on the pass.  We have access to the tickets by clicking “Show My Ticket” and we have a scannable QR code and all of our information for the trip.  What is confusing is that this is the only part of our trip we haven’t seen a charge for on our credit card (we had to pay extra for the reservation).  Every other reservation we’ve had to make we were charged already (shows on our statement), we were sent an email, and we have printable tickets.  These trips include Amsterdam to Paris, Venice

Hi There, May I know, does TGV INOUI is included in Eurail Global Pass Ticket or not? thank you

For our trip back to the Netherlands we travel through Basel and Köln. We can add a direct train to our trip, so w’ere ready to travel, our Interrail-account tells me. But we would like to make a seat reservation - which is not absolutely necessary! - for the long journey in busy times. But we can't make that reservation, nor on the Interrail-site, nor on Bahn.de. We do have a littel hope, because de German site mentions a temporarily problem. But Interrail is clear: no seats available. Help! What could be the problem? And what happens if we travel without a seat reservation? Can we be expelled from a train that is overbooked?

I am trying to book a ticket to go from Berlin Hbf to Berclav on June 24, 2023 at 18:52 with the global interrail pass. It lets me activate the ticket but not reserve a seat. It tells me that there are no seats available, but that with every day. I have searched several different websites that also offer this train but it still doesn't work. The train is the one in the title. If anyone can help me or tell me how I can do it or alternatives (which I have not found either) it would be a great favor. Thanks

I want to book couchettes for 15 people travelling together.  I need to have the couchettes just for our group, so 5 people per 6 person couchette x 3.  Any help on how to do this would be wonderful.

Hi i’m trying to plan a trip from Biarritz across Spain and into Portugal. it appears that this is difficult as all the trips i put into the eurail app come up with nothing. Is it possible to do or do you just have to go via the major cities?

HeyLast wee bit of planning and I’m trying to be calm but still not seeing the Italian trains I’d like for August up yet on the website planner (or app obv). They are on the Trenitalia site now for August so should I just keep checking weekly, I don’t know if any reservations are required yet, maybe the Verona → Milan leg?OBB only shows June so far and times are slightly different (and better)Is the answer just chill, it will all be fine?ThanksSarah  8:23 Venice M → Verona11:43 Verona → Milan14:20 Milan → Varenna

I have 1 ticket already and just found out about the global pass, do I have to cancel and rebook or is there a way to combine? I don't want to loose our seats but can't find a way to check trains needed without having the pass first.

Hi, I am planning to travel from Tirano to St Moritz and will be taking the Bernia Express Train. I have a second-class pass for Eurail. The eurail app told me I have to buy a supplement. Do I have to purchase a seat reservation or supplement? My family doesn't plan on taking the panoramic train as we will be taking the glacier express the next day.also, will we be able to board the train without any reservation etc to sit in the regular carriages? We are afraid that there might not be any seats left if it is a popular route. We wouldn't want to stand for 2.5 hours. Thanks for the help!

Booking our train from Bilbao to Madrid, however we are unable to make seat reservations on website or app. What is the alternative, is it best to go to the train station and enquire?

I want to travel within austria on budget for 10 days. can i use eurail austria pass for all local transport like ICE, REX, BUS? or can anyone suggest best way for mu route from vienna-wacgau-hallstat-graz-carinthia-salzburg-tyrol. I am traveling June end onwards. Kindly suggest and inform.

Folks, Mightily impressed by the depth of knowledge here, and after careful reading, I have one unanswered question.  I have read the thread below, however my use case is a bit different.  As an NL resident, I shall be in Berlin for business in June.  I want to travel from Berlin to Warszawa, and spend a week in Poland, decompress, and explore the country. Then at the end of an all-too-short week, train from Warszawa back to Berlin.I want to reserve on the EIC 49 which is operated by PKP Intercity. Interrail site says, an Interrail one country pass is recognised by "PKP and local-government run companies: Koleje Dolnoslaskie and Przewozy Regionalne” PKP's website has for several days given me website errors, using any PC or network, and a few folks on this forum seem to be having the same issue.  What's my best course of action?  Do I need to visit a PKP ticket counter in Berlin Hbf, assuming there is one hidden behind the queues to the international ticket offices on level +1?  Phone

Hi guys, I need some help. I tried to reserve a seat for the amsterdam central-berlin hbf night train for 19/10. The interrail booking site told me that it was not possible to reserve a seat, even though a reservation was not required. I booked on bahn.com, even at a lower price, and had no problem booking a seat. Do you know the bahn.com site is reliable and is this reservation still valid?

Hi Community. I am travelling across Europe with my wife and 3 kids this summer and we are still trying to full understand the reservation and booking challenges. Thank you all so far for all the information been made available. I have however come up against a problem. We have been trying to book the reservation for travel from Copenhagen to Osnabrück to the 9th of July. When I tried with 5 though OBB is didn’t work but for whatever reason it worked with 4+1 through separate bookings. However when I look at the ticket it only shows reservations for the Hamburg to Osnabrück part of the journey. Is there anyway to confirm if we actually have a booking for the 1st leg? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any advice.Regards,David
