Dear All,I am planning to take the EC 151 from Mannheim to Milan on Monday 15th May - now the german Train association EVG has just announced strikes for all german trains from 14th to 17th May. Do you guys Know if ECs are also affected from these strikes? Or is it german trains only?

I booked my trip through global pass. I needed seat reservations for some legs of the trip but not all. I loaded the full trip to the app. I didn’t know it at the time but eurail loaded wrong trains for the seat reservations right trains for others. I’m on the right train but now will miss the other connecting trains I paid for.  I am out of the country traveling with a 7 year old and eurail has NO customer service line. All my connecting trains have less than 15 minute breaks between so I can’t even speak to an agent. What ami supposed to do? I don’t know if I even have seats. I want to be safe in Europe. Not stranded with a 7 year old in Switzerland. Please help!

Hi, is the interrail.eu seat reservation service down for maintenance? I have been trying to make reservations for two days, getting thrown out in the last step.

Hi! Me and my partner will be travelling Europe this summer and have managed to just get 3 weeks off work including the weekends and the the weekend before we go. This is what our itinerary is looking like but is it too much to squeeze into three weeks? We have tried to keep most of the journeys to a couple of hours and have found hostel options in each to keep it cheap. Being inexperienced in rail travel it’s hard the gauge the balance, however we are the kind of people that like to be kept busy and we will be returning to a few of these places in the future for various things so won’t be disappointed if we don’t manage everything in each place. Are we trying to do too much in one go?  Amsterdam (2 nights) Hamburg (1 night) Berlin (2 nights) Prague (2 nights) Vienna (1 night)Brastislava (1 night) Budapest (1 night)Graz (1 night)Zagreb (1 night)Ljubljana (1 night)Munich (1 night)Zurich (1 night)Geneva (1 night)Paris (2 nights)Brussels (2 nights)

Hi everyone, my first post. I am Interrailing this summer with my teenager. We have booked loads of our trains on Obb Austria. But we need to book some on Bahn.De and I cannot find how to add the interrail discount. We have first class tickets and using the Obb website gave us free reservations, but it only has limited German train details. Also the train times on Obb do not match up with Interrail, so I added them manually to the Interrail app - is this normally? Thanks for any help and advice.

I bought 5 passes. A total of four-section trains need to be booked, but the seat reservation for the one-section train was not available, so we booked and paid for the three-section train first. I'd like to reserve some seats for the remaining one section of the train, what should I do?

Hello. Is it possible to reserve seats online? We are told it is not and you have to present at a station. Furthermore, there seems to be limitations with forward booking, eg We cannot book Barcelona to Marseille until we arrive in Barcelona. Some of our stays are relatively short so this then creates a risk of not being able to get seats which then of course impacts our accommodation reservations. Are we missing something here?

I cannot find the limit of the ticket’s cost for the 4 days in month pass. I mean it costs 194euros but how much of the ticket’s cost do i save if i buy it?

If I have a one country IR pass for Germany but want to travel on an ICE starting over the border in Strasbourg do I need to buy a single ticket from Strasbourg to the border station, Kehl (regardless of the fact that the train doesn’t stop there) or is it necessary to buy a single from Strasbourg to the first station in Germany at which the train stops (Karlsruhe)? All help appreciated!

A lot of my trains require reservations. But we have no idea which train we will take. It will depend on what we wind up doing that day. But it says you have to make a reservation 3 hours in advance and they are not refundable. A lot of our journeys offer trains every hour or every 30 mins but still require a reservation. So how can we be flexible if we must make a non refundable reservation? Can I just walk up a few mins before and still get a reservation on the next train or do I really have to book it in advance and lock us into a specific time?

Helloo! I need Help…I am in London and i want to go Italy (Modena) on next week, i saw need do some “stops” in Paris and Milano. In the app it appears that at these stopsI need to go to another station "Transferby public Transport". Will thesetransports be available to everyone onthe train going to the same destinationor can I take an uber or something likethat?

The train currently says full on the eurorail booking site, however after checking the company’s website there is still room on the train. Does eurorail ever add more seats that eurorail passes can reserve leading up to the travel day?

Hi,I plan to take the train 9 times (on a 18 days trip) but I’ve seen that for 3 times I’ll have to pay my seat. Consequently, should I buy a Pass for 7 or 10 days ?Thank you :)

Hi,I am planning to travel around Southern Spain next month.  It seems quite limited or are there not many train lines in that part of Spain? For example - To go from Malaga to Alicante, would I have to go nearly to Madrid and back down? Please can you tell me does the Interrail map shows all possible routes or is there another map with more lines available?Thank you

Tried to book London to Paris on May 24 - could not find a reservation. Had to change to May 23 but arriving in Paris at 11:00pm. Any suggestions on how we can find a trip on May 24th and if we do, can we change our current seat reservations from the 23rd to the 24th?

Do i have to pay for the train if i’m going to reservate or is the interrail tickets the total price? or do there become a lot of extre costs?

My DOB year is incorrect. How do I change that?

Hi, I booked a trip from Florence to Cinque Terre (Monterosso) for August with Frecciarossa. There is a connecting train we have to take at Pisa Centrale but they did not let us reserve our seats and will need to find a vacant unreserved seat. I am wondering if there is a seating chart link I can see where there are vacant unreserved seats in advance.  I will be traveling with my family (wife & 2 kids) so I want to make we do not lose each other if we are in different cars.  Thanks

Hello, is it possible to use the global eurail pass with the mobile pass in Switzerland?Thank you

Seat Reservations….a popular topic.  Have already downloaded the the tickets...have my pass.  Now, I need to make seat reservations for 3 of 5 legs.  Eurail app is not possible to book seats.  Eurail website is useless….in timeout when I try to advance forward on the webpage.  Have high speed internet and 9-10 devices working just fine.  Its not my internet provider its the website.  The cute YouTube video on how to make seat reservations also useless. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know which Eurail Planner App to download for some who is currently live in China, but not using iPhone?I understand that after you purchased Eurail Pass, you will receive the email with links to download the planner app. The options are:  “App Store” (for iPhone), “Google Play” (for other phone than iPhone). However, for people live in China, but not using iPhone, what should they do?  The can NOT access google in China.

I have a global pass and was able to make a reservation from London to Paris. For Paris - Zurich (June 10th 7.20 am), though it shows seats are available on the eurail website, when I got to checkout, it says one of the legs is unavailable. I saw another post that said reservations were possible only till Basel, so I tried that as well. In fact, I tried removing one station at a time until it was only Paris - Belfort, but even that didnt work. Any suggestions would be helpful.thanks, sri

This was supposed to be my 4the trainday and inbound day back to my home country Belgium. I can't change my reservation, website is down for changing dates. I got the cancelations email at 11 am and tried to change tickets at 12 am but already website was down. When I trie it now, I stiml can't get through. When I select new dates and trains that have open seats, I still get the 'Oops, something went wrong' page when I trie to confirm the changes.Additional problem is that I made the reservations on the belgium website, SNCB, for me and my sister. So I have to change 2 tickets from 1 reservation and we are not going to take the same trains as my sister still has 2 weeks of and would travel further in the UK, now that our returntrain has been cancelled. I have tried to reach Eurostar by phone en through their contactform, but don't seem to get through. If I try to cha

Buenas tardes, estoy pensando comprar el pase interrail para viajar desde España a distintos países de Europa, pero al ver las combinaciones, veo que hay muchos en los que pone que hay que reservar asientos desde un importe. ¿Eso sería adicional al precio del pase?
