Hello!I've been very frustrated trying to decide if I should buy a pass or just book each train directly. I don’t know which trains in different countries are covered under a pass vs. not. This is a big ask but I’m wondering if someone can give a Yes or No on each of the following trains (would they be covered under a Global Eurail Pass)? July 1, 2023: Milan to SalzburgItalo #8977 Milan Centrale to Verona Porta NuovaEurocity#84 Verona Porta Nuova to Innsbruck HbfRailjet #769 Innsbruck Hbf to Salzburg HbfFrecciarossa #9705 Milan Centrale to Verona Porta NuovaEurocity (EC) #88 Verona Porta Nuova to Innsbruck HbfRailjet Express #867 Innsbruck Hbf to Salzburg HbfJuly 3, 2023: Salzburg to Munich:Bayerische Regiobahn #79040Railjet Express #64July 6,2023 Munich to Paris Intercity-Express (ICE) #690 Munich Hbf to Stuttgart HbfIntercity-Express (ICE) #9574 Stuttgart Hbf to Paris EstTGV #9576 Munich Hbf to Paris Hbf  July 11, 2023 Paris to LondonEurostar #9015 Paris Nord to  London St. Pancras I

Hello, I want reserve seats for TGV through Interrail web, so I have not possibility choose specific seats. When I travel with children, how will I be sure, that the children are not sitting in my sight? Thanks

Hallo there, maybe anyone here can help.We try to book a seat reservation for Nighttrain from Palermo to Geneva. We are two Interrail-Travellers and want to book the Double Sleeper. The Interrail Reservation Service is not really a help here, but Italian Railway is not even better. We wont be in Italy before, so we dont want to wait until we can ask there at a train station. Is der any other chance to book this Double Sleeper Reservation via Internet? We tried it today for several hours with no success. Even Italiarail is no help, they get things messed up with this specific train. Thanks for any suggestionPhilipp

If i buy the 6-days interrail pass for greek islands, do i need to use 2 days on italy and 4 on greece, or can i just use all 6 of them hopping in different greek islands? Im wondering bc the ticket info says ”2 international days and 4 domestic days”

We are trying to travel from Bern to Milan tomorrow on Friday, May 5. There is a direct train leaving Bern at 11:34 am and arriving in Milan at 2:45 pm. It is Eurocity train EC53. The train shows up on timetables everywhere except the Eurail timetables (the whole route does not seem to show up in Eurail). I believe the train requires seat reservations. I can’t seem to find how to make seat reservations anywhere without first purchasing a ticket and the other sites don’t have options to enter  Eurail pass information. I don’t want to buy another ticket as Eurocity train are included in the Eurail pass. I can add the train manually to my pass but can’t figure out how to get seat reservations. Thanks in advance.

Hi:) I’m travelling from Athen to Bari by train and ferry in June. My ferry departs from Patras to Bari and so i searched for train/bus connections from athen to patras. i found out that there is no direct train connections due to constructions, but that i can take a train from athen to kiato and there change into a bus that replaces the train until patras. but i can’t find any sort of timetable for the trains and busses, i looked in the interrail app, the trainose website and the hellenic train websites: they all say that there is no connection available on the selected date. i travel on june 8th but i also tried different dates to verify if there’s a connection at all and it just doesn’ show...is it too early to book the train and the timetables are not up yet? or is there just no connection at all at the moment, or there is but it’s just not on the website yet? i’m really confused snd a bit stressed as i need to book the ferry asap and need to know if i even can travel from athens t

Hi Quick question when i search the railplanner app it does not show the night train from Krakow to Vienna , is this correct/why is this ?I believe it still runs when I have searched the OBB site Do i just add it manually?

Hi, I recently got married and we are planning our honeymoon for next year (July 2024) so we can properly save after the expense of a wedding! My husband and I love to explore cities and culture (new food, history, nights out) but also love being outdoors especially in the mountains and hiking. We will have 2 weeks and are looking for a route that encompasses both these things ie a few capital cities we haven't visited before and some time in some stunning scenery. And some romance would be nice too ☺️ we have lots of ideas but be nice to get some inspiration from others. Any ideas please? Thanks!

Hello, i’m wondering what the best option to get to either Split or Hvar from Dubrovnic is without having a car. I’ve seen ferrys are best, but wondering if there was another way and/or it they are included in the Eurail pass?

Hello, I have an upcoming trip to Europe and I’m already concerned if purchasing a monhtly Eurailpass was the right choice.I want to start my trip from Madrid to Paris on July 3 using the highspeed train and from there go to Seville, but just trying to book the starting point to Paris seems impossible.Any suggestion will be very welcome. Thanks!

Hello! I have been enjoying the rail planner on the Eurail app, but it does not work for Greece! Is there a good website or, preferably, app I could use to plan out my trips?

Hello,This summer I will be traveling through Greece. However, the train schedules are only a week up front in the interrail app and website. How can I book my trains and use my pass on them even after the start date of my trip when I cannot edit the route in the app anymore?I tried booking with Hellenic train directly, however there is no option for interrail as far as I could see.Would someone be able to give me some tips and tricks?  Thanks!

According to the page for Italy on this website passes aren’t valid on Lecco to Piona trains, part of the Tirano - Milan line and are shown as such on the App. According to reports from travellers using these trains, they have been told by an on-train Trenord employee that passes are valid and on other occasions presenting a pass hasn’t been challenged by the ticket inspector. Any info, other travellers experiences out there?

Hi everyone, My boyfriend lives in a non-European country and I live in an European country. To my knowledge, if we would like to travel together by train, he has to get an Eurail pass and I have to get an Interrail pass, but the passes are essentially the same just a different name(?) However, I’m wondering if this will lead to any problems along the way, for example with making reservations. Do we both have to do that separately or is there a way we can still do it together? Or is it not really necessary to make bookings together anyway? I have tried looking for a similar questions but I didn’t manage to find it. But I’m sorry if this has already been asked before. Thanks in advance!

Hello,I posted a few days ago regarding availability of the night train from Stockholm to Narvik on December 11th.  We have continued to check the schedules every day and this morning tickets are available!! (YAY!) My next question, why are there no 1st class berths available?  Am I searching incorrectly? Is it possible that the train only has 2nd class private sleeper berths? We are ok with 2nd class, but the private bathroom offered in 1st class would be our preference if it is available.  Am I missing something? I’ve checked on both Vy and SJ. Any help is appreciated!

Hi,  We have planned a 2 week trip around Europe with no real problems, but we cannot book the seat from Malmo to Stockholm (planned for mid July).  We have tried various sites including Interrail and SJ.SE, but no joy.We have the one month interrail pass, which we have done all our other planning on successfully.  It feels like we are just missing a dropdown box or tick box :-( regardsMike

I am considering taking a night train from Munchen to Paris, which departs at 00:04. If I take another night train from Paris to Marseille the same day, in the evening, does it count as one or two traveling days? Does it matter they are both sleeping trains?

I had saved a train in my trips a few days ago. It had required reservations and I planned on reserving it today. The train no longer appears. Does this mean the train is fully booked? The trips is over a month away still. Thanks for the help!

On the website it says that when I arrive in Patras by ferry, I will have to take a bus and a train to get to Piraeus. Where can I find the bus and train timetables? Can't find anything online. How do I know for sure that there will be?

I  am Jyoti, I was using my Eurail pass (one day) to travel to Amsterdam from Berlin. It's a monthly pass with 4 days travel with EU. You can activate the day you want to travel within the pass, the day you want to travel. I added my journey yesterday from Berlin to Amsterdam via train ICE 140 i.e on 7th May 2023, departing at 16:05 from Berlin HBF. The train was cancelled on reaching Hannover HBF. Since, it was already very late i.e. around 21:00 once the train cancellation was informed and officially train was closed- I decided to return back to Berlin. I couldn't contact the customer service in Hannover since already around 100+ people were standing in line to collect a refund or stay in Hannover.  The reason I am am reaching out here is that in  my Eurail Pass - there is only 1 inbound and outbound journey for my home country. Since I used it yesterday on this train, I cannot use it anymore. So, I request to please let me know how to proceed in this manner?

Hello,In the past I have chosen Facebook for login. I absolutely want to get rid of that and create a normal login with my e-mail-adress and a password. I don’t want to be constantly traced by fb on my travels.I can’t find any information as to how to achieve that.I will greatly appreciate if you can give me some advice on the problem.Yours sincerelyAila Ziegler

My understanding is:(a) Eurailpasses are NOT valid on Heathrow Express(b) as almost always with local suburban rail operators, Eurailpasses are similarly NOT valid on London Underground (‘Tube’) trains (and buses/trams)however:© Eurailpasses ARE VALID on the newly opened Elizabeth Line (Transport for London) between say London Heathrow Airport terminals and Paddington, or elsewhere on the route (though once one tries to connect to the Tube, one would have to have a valid Oyster Pass issued by TfL.(d) Similarly, Eurailpasses “may” be valid on London Overground trains. Is the latter - c and d- correct? If so, where can one have a Paper Eurailpass validated at Heathrow?  Will a TfL staffed booking office do it?

i have to go tomorrow from budapest to pécs and i get no qr- code. i tried many times but no succes, what to do in such case?ask for a ticket on the railway station?

I’m trying to book a train from Utrecht central to Berlin on the 5th of August. I can add the reservations to my cart but when i go to book it says ‘one of your legs is unavailable’. I saw on pervious replies you can use the OBB website to book seat reservations. I’m just wondering how that works in terms of booking seat and not having a proper ticket??
