Solved

Hi! I have a few questions about reservations, more specifically night trains. I’m planning to take a night train from Warsaw Central to Budapest (IC407), and I’ve found Polrail and Czech Transport websites to book the reservations for a sleeper. The only thing is, that the shipping is so pricey and I’m anxious I won’t get them in time. Is it possible to book a bed or couchette in station in Warsaw Central? I’ll be traveling mid-June. Another question I have, is how is the station reservation booking process? Even for normal seats. Do you just show your Interrail pass and the train you want to take?  This is my first Interrail trip, so I am a bit confused and anxious about reservations!

Hi there,I didn´t have any problems so far. But as from today I am unable to open MY PASS although I am connected to WIFI (I´ve also tried to do it with connecting to my internet-provider).I can open any page I want and I can open the planner, the train-stations and “My trip”  ----  but not MY PASS - please help! Thank you Reinhard

Hello! We are a family of 4 (2 Adults, 2 Youths) and we have booked Eurail “15 day in 2 months” (2nd class) in the Global Mobile pass.I have watched the help video but I still have many unclear things. We 4 will be traveling together all the time. So, I have added all 4 passes to my phone. 1) We will make our first journey from London to Amsterdam on June 22, 2023 on Euro star. This needs a seat reservation that cannot be done on the Mobile App.What is the correct process? Do I make the reservation on the Eurail website and it automatically flows through to the mobile App?2) Secondly, I understand that I have to create 4 trips and link each pass to a trip on its own. In that case, how do I make the 4 reservations at once? Do I have to make reservations one by one for each person?

I’m looking to book seat reservations for a 2am train in July but it’s saying prices unavailable. On the train company’s website it’s also saying ticket unavailable. Does this mean it’s sold out already? Any advice to get around this? Accommodation is already booked for both locations so would like to avoid moving dates or locations if possible. Thanks!

Hi, I’m trying to reserve couple of seats for August 26th but the trenitalia.com site shows “No travel solution found” for that date and route. I thought this is because I was being too early but I see open reservations for September (starting 16th). Also, the direct train (E51) is already sold out for August 19th (week prior to my booking date). So, this is making me anxious now.QuestionsAre there any other websites I can book direct trains for this route? Why am I not able to book August 26th? Is it because August reservations open late?Any tips or help on this is very much appreciated.Thank you!

Is this still an issue up to now? I cannot proceed with the seat reservations. I am trying to book Italy-Paris but I cannot even book it on oebb.

I want to start my trip from Istanbul which is not in my country of residence, and after 7 days of travel I get to France, can I use inbound day to get to my country (Italy) if it means: depart in the afternoon from France, get in an italian city in the same evening and there take a night train to my final destination?Does it matter I don’t activate my pass in Italy?

Just activated my mobile pass and made reservation; what do I show ticket validator? Just my reservation details?

I have the global pass so I have 7 days of travel but I would like to travel 8 days, is it possible that I don't activate one of the 8 trips in my pass? If so, are some paid trips the same price with the pass as without? The pass would then be useless on these journeys, so it would be unnecessary to use travel days for these journeys. For instance, if on your 7 trains 3 are on the same price with and without the pass, why take a 7 travel days pass and not a 4 travel days pass completed with 3 online tickets ?

Good day,  With Eurail passes in hand I’m attempting to obtain reservations for the 10:18 PanoramaExpress (PE 902) from BRIG HAHNOFPLATZ to ST. MORITZ on July 14, 2023.  The Eurail Travel Planner online reads “Seat reservations unavailable”.  On the cell phone app it appears that the schedules are not available this far out.  “Sorry, we can’t find any trains that match your search.” Three possibilities:I’m too early to make this request. I’m too late and the reservations are already fully booked. I need to seek these reservations through another agency.Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks….Danke!

I went to the Austrian rail site OEBB and did a search between some smaller towns, and it gave me bus routes instead of train routes. Does the Global Pass cover those buses? It seems they might be operated by OBB or affiliated with it. For example between Oztal and Reutte.  (By the way, I did a search from Vienna to Hallstat on the Eurail site and it came up empty, so thats why I started using the OEBB site)

Dear train journey lover, Planning our trip in Scandinavië I have to take the train from Oslo to Kil. We have a short transfer (5 minutes) in Kongsvinger. We need to catch this train otherwise we'll be stuck and miss all the reservated trains later. Does anyone know if this is a big station? I’m planning on going to bologna on monday. the suggested time in munich is too short, so i want to take one train to munich very early, and then take one from there to bologna. i have to create two trips for that, is that fine or would the first one ( hamburg-munich) already count as inbound ?

I asked this question last week but didn’t get any useful responses.I bought a 5-day pass for a trip and I am wondering if I should use a 4 instead, especially since I cashed my itinerary.June 16: Train to and from Auschwitz and krakow. Night train to pragueJune 20: Train from Prague to Vienna.June 22: train from Vienna to Munich June 25: night train from Munich to Paris.I should be fine with only 4 correct?

Hello!I’m trying to book a train from Milan to Tirano on June 28th (Trenord, not included in the pass apparently) and for some strange reason there are no trains available. Same thing in late June in general. Anyone knows what’s going on? Really no trains?? Thanks,Anna

We have booked a Eurail travel day for 6th July and have booked reservations on the Golden Pass train. At the moment it does not go from Interlaken due to disruptions.Do we have to book Interlaken to Zweisimmen with the local rail BLS separately, and will our Eurail pass cover this please and we just need seat reservations, or new tickets?

Hi guys, I’m planning my trip in August and I’m quite on a budget 😬. So I’m trying to cut costs wherever I can, including seat reservations. Since both direct trains between Paris-Amsterdam and Prague-Budapest have compulsory seat reservations, I looked for different journeys with no reservations needed. This is the result:Paris-Amsterdam: Paris-Amiens-Lille-Courtrai-Anvers-Amsterdam on TER, InterCity and Regional trains; Prague-Budapest: Prague-Wien-Budapest on RailJet.So, reservations are not compulsory here, but I’d like to know if you suggest them anyway for any of these journeys. I let you know that we are 10… but both the journeys will start pretty soon in the morning (6:00 and 4:45)Thanks in advance.

thanks a lot for all the infoIt helped me.I still have one doubt: when traveling from Epernay (France) to Belgium (Brussels) I don't want to use my inbound trip, because i will need it later on for another tripHow do i book now my trip from Epernay to Brussels? do i pay the whole trip or can i split it up and pay only the part from the border France to Belgium? and how?

May 5th, madrid puerta de atocha to Barcelona Sants, 19:00-21:30. To reserve it says Eurail cannot reserve, and only options are in person at train station, or by email and there’s no email. does this mean the train is fully reserved, or is it a first come first serve basis and you have to get there and reserve it in person?if the latter, how early should I get to the train?

Help! I need 17 seats on a high-speed train to Florence from Rome. I was able to add 9 people to the reservation, but the site will not let me add the other 8. What can I do?

Hi all! First time Traveller from Australia 😊 currently making our way across Europe and we're in Berlin at the moment! I wanted to clarify something about this 22 day Eurail pass, but I think I may already know the answer... my friends and I purchased 22 days, but it's for 22 consecutive days, correct? My friends and I will be travelling across Europe for a month. I feel like I may have made a mistake in buying this ticket instead of a different one…We're hoping to visit several countries, but we don't really have a particular time/dates when visiting cities. We'll be going to Rome, Naples/Pompeii, Sevilla, Barcelona, Paris and then London where we fly out on the 31st of May. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a list of trips in MY TRIPS. However I fail to attach them to my pass. There is a note on top: Not connected to a mobile pass.

I wish to know a Eurail route by train between Aveiro to Madrid

Hello, community! It’s nice to meet you. This will be my first time to buy and use Eurail Global Pass, as my friends and I are planning to travel to Harlech, Wales from London.Would anyone be so kind as to let me know if we can use Eurail Global Pass to go to this town, Harlech?Pardon my layman’s question, but I would appreciate it if you’d kindly let me know. All the best,Takahiko - traveler from Tokyo
