Currently in Amsterdam and about to use my pass for the first time. I noticed at the station you need a ticket to scan at the turnstiles to access the platforms. Is this where I scan the QR for that day in my pass? Also I need to buy a supplement, can I do that on the train??

I have a Eurail Pass. When I try to use it to reserve a seat on the Golden Pass trains in Switzerland, I get the message, “Pass Not Valid”.If I reserve a seat using the Golden Pass train website, will my Eurail Pass be accepted as the ticket?

I bought a pass for 4 people Is it necessary for each of the passengers to have the app installed on their cell phones or can a single person report the trips to everyone?

I am trying to reserve this train. I try to buy it online but then I’m rejected and the Eurail site says something like one of your legs is not available….etc. this is the third train in my trip I’m trying to reserve, and am getting constantly rejected or running into issues as a foreign traveler. I really don’t get why everything looks so simple on the planner, and then when you try to actually do something, there’s tiny details that restrict you from booking and are forced to just figure it out if you can when you’re in person. So frustrated already. Bought a Eurail pass because i made a trip with the planner, now considering returning it because nothing is really working out. Am i better off getting a flight?

I planned to travel on Friday the 21.04.23 from Hamburg 06:34 through Munich to Verona Porta Nuova arriving at 18:58 the same day, using my outbound-journey from Germany.Because of the announced strikes in Germany on friday morning, I plan to go to Munich already on Thursday evening with another train and continue my journey on Friday as planned from Munich when the strike is finished. But this way I would need to use 2 outbound-journeys instead of one. What are my possibilites to ressolve this problem? I assume I can't take the train on Thursday, with my planned ticket for friday, because it will not be activated at that point?        Thank you for your help in advance.

I cant work out how to get from the screen that shows the timetable info to book a reservation

We are a group of 4 travelling together; we’ll have our mobile passes on our own phones. I have created the trip and added it to my pass, and I have now duplicated it - but when I try and connect it to another mobile pass it only gives me an option to connect to a Paper Pass and asks for a paper pass cover number. How do I duplicate the trip (three times) so that we can all connect it to our mobile passes? Thanks in advance for any help

I’m looking to book the sleeper in mid-June (16th I think), but the availability is only showing as far as the middle of May at the moment.  Correction, I just re-checked and it is showing dates forwards from June 21st with a gap for a couple of weeks back to the middle of May.Does anyone know if there are track works impacting this train?  I can still make the connection by changing train in Boden and catching the day train to Narvik, but that involves a later arrival in Narvik which isn’t optimal as I’m heading onwards from there in a campervan.  Given that the day train is running I guess it’s not trackwork, but the train just shows as not available on sj.se[edit] bahn.de shows several gaps in running order but indicates is should run on 16th JuneDays of operation: runs daily, not 18., 21. May, 23. until 29. Jun 2023, 5., 6. Jul, 8. until 13. Jul 2023, 15., 22., 29. Jul, 5. until 10. Aug 2023

If a train gets cancelled in France can I rebook my trains without losing a travel day? It’s especially for my return trip, I wouldn’t want to pay extra for a train the following day because of no more travelling days available...

Hello, I just lost my wallet with all my cards in it. I’m in the middle of using my 2month Interrail Global Pass (mobile pass, not paper), so I’d really like to know if I can still continue traveling with my passeport (even if the number doesn't match) or if I can, in that case, replace it ?I have tried reaching out to the Interrail customer service but nobody responds, and I don’t even receive a confirmation email that my request has been sent. So, I’m a bit lost…I’d really appreciate any help/information, Thank you!

HiAfter retirement, I plan a global pass for a couple of days (in a month) around the end of this summer. Although I’m an experienced train traveller, a couple of things are still unclear for me regarding Interrail.  My first question is if there is something like “Zugbindung” (like you have with traditional German “Sparpreis” tickets). In other words, if I plan for example for my first day a trip from my home city in the Netherlands to Munich and a train starting at, for example 8:00, would I be allowed to decide on this first morning to take a train earlier or later? And would I be flexible regarding the route, so instead of via Hannover to take a train via Frankfurt? Or do I have to take exactly those train(s) that I selected (“Zugbindung”) when I created the trip for that first day? My second question is how flexible I am regarding creating trips. Do I have to plan every trip (and thus every day and train) before I start using the Interrail pass? Or can it be that I enter only the

Anyone have knowledge about making seat reservations (only) for travel by OBB ‘RJX’ trains between Wien and Innsbruck over the weekend of 22/23 April. The usual booking platforms, including oebb, offer various tickets to buy but not reservations only - all options train choices give “Ticket not available”.

I booked a ticket from Bari to patras with interrail discount. Do I need to spend one day from my pass for ferry? Because it was just a discount. Can anyone help me about this topic? If it’s not countable I’ll use my pass day for another ticket. Thanks in advance :)

Hello, I’m trying to book a sleeper couchette from Frankfurt to Prague on 27th April, I’m travelling with my wife and 7 month old son, so I want comfortable travel option here.I’m not seeing an option to book the sleeper couchette in DB, it shows reservations not possible and book without reservation which is not an ideal option. Can anyone please helpout here with best option to book or have any alternative options? Thanks in advance 🙏

I see the question I was about to ask was answered a year ago here.We need to get between the 2 cities on Saturday 29th April and it seems like a TGV with a cafe might be a better bet than a regular (if comfortable and functional) Swiss train between the 2.  Even if it’s only to get a cup of coffee in Switzerland at French prices.I thought that not-sitting in a TGV was a non-runner as a general principle - do they really let everyone on (a TGV) in Switzerland regardless of space?Alternatively, does anyone know of other trains between the two cities that are different than the regular SBB trains?  Yes, I’m a train nerd.

Hello everyone! have a quick question. I am trying to book the “10 days in 2 months” Global pass, and I am wondering if it covers all trains. My friend and I are booking our first Europe trip. When I clicked to see the benefits of the pass, I saw the following trajectories:Are those the only trains I have access to? Or are those examples of trips I can make across Europe? For example, one of our routes we are trying to do is London -- Brussels -- Amsterdam. Would this pass cover it or we need to get individual tickets.  Thank you!

Hi - I have a seat res Lyon to Nimes. My plans have changed and will now be going to Narbonne. The train I have seat res on actually ends in Narbonne. Will I need to to cancel my original seat res and make a new one to reflect Lyon to Narbonne? Or just stay on the train? Newbie here :)

Hi My friend and I are travling together to Paris from Copenhagen and then one more stop together but then we split, but we would like to make the set reservation for the first half of the trip together, how is this possible? How can we add each other to the seat reseavtion for the first part of the trip but not the whole trip? Thanks -Amanda

Hey guys,  I’m currently on my Interrail (2month from last years sale) and I’m going from Prague to Alost in Belgium. There’s a transition in Frankfurt Hbf between 2:11 AM - 6:28 AM, does anyone have an idea what to do (ideally where to sleep) in that time? Since I’ve heard it’s forbidden to stay in the train station.I’m probably looking for a train somewhere and back or something like that? Would anyone care to share a helpful advice please? Thank you all very muchMatej

Hi all,I have a flight arriving at Paris Orly airport next week, and looking at a TGV to Lyon. The first is TGV 5316, departing from Massy Palaiseau Grande Ceinture, and the second is TGV 5320, departing Massy TGV.As far as I can tell, these are part of the same station complex, and I can get the Orlyval to Antony then RER to reach them. (Or a cab!) Is that right? The French do love their long, complicated station names.

I am using 30.2.0 but have been advised that I should be on 30.3.0 to rectify my problem to get tickets. I cannot see a later version. We leave tomorrow and I am very worried  . Bw John

Hey there, I would like to take Eurail Italy 3 days within 1 month 1st Class passes for me and my wife. My wife's birthday is on April 29th and she will turn 28 on 29 April, 2023.If I buy a  pass starting from 26 April, 2023 will she be eligible for the Youth discount?I am planning to use the pass for travel in Italy on 5, 6 and 15 May, 2023. The website says “If you're 27 or younger on the date you choose to start your trip, you can buy our discounted Youth Pass.”. I am not sure what start of trip means here.Just to make it clear, on the start of validity of the pass (26 April, 2023), she will be 27 years old and on the first day of travel (5 May, 2023), she will be 28 years old. Thanks in advance!

Sorry to ask so many questions but I am not sure what I have done wrong so wondering if the tickets only become visible on the app when it’s the actual day of travel ? Can anyone confirm please as we are supposed to be leaving tomorrow morning 19 April and I am concerned . Regards John

Hi all,Planning a trip from Finland to Italy and back next summer as a family of two adults and two teenagers with 7 days in a month Interrail global passes (mobile) and having trouble with a couple of things. All comments, suggestions and help would be very appreciated.1) Getting from Stockholm to Hamburg on June 17th. We should arrive at Stockholm Viking Line terminal at 6.30 am and need to get to Hamburg for the next night. SJ is apparently having trouble getting the timetables confirmed because of track works so we don't know if we can assume the trains will be running or not?2) Getting from Zurich to Como on June 19th. We should arrive at Zurich at 10.05 am with Obb nightjet from Hamburg (we have sleepers booked already). What would be the options to get to Como? 3) Getting from Como to Innsbruck on June 26th, best connections and/or the most scenic routes? 4) We have a couchette booked for the Obb nightjet from Innsbruck to Hamburg on June 27h at 20.12 pm, but we were informed th
