Solved

Hello, I have a big problem, I had a technical problem to activate my pass. Now since one week I ask Interrail to help me, because my pass now is not valid anymore. I can’t aktivate it or do something. Interrail said they want to help me, but they only sending email like a chat bot. There is no help at all. Now I’m losing my money 400€, and can’t go trevel with my son because he aktivate his pass.   help please!

Good evening,We bought a 6 days Greek Island Pass. The Greek Islands Pass Guide notes that it is impartant to book ferries in the order of use, the date of the first ferry is the activation date of the pass. We already booked a ferry from Italy tot Greece, but didn't need tot give our Pass number. For booking domestic ferries the pass number is needed. How do I know for sure that the system knows that we already booked a ferry and the pass is activated on the Italy - Greece crossing and not on the first domestic ferry (and we have to pay for the Italy - Greece crossing)? Thanks in advance,Martin

In June, I and a friend are planning on using Eurail Global passes to get from Athens, Greece to Split, Croatia. Looking at the map on the Eurail website, it looks like the trip is going to be 5 stops, but I can’t find any information about train schedules, additional fees, ride lengths, or participating stations and rail companies. Does anyone have more specific information about the trains or is it simply too far in the future? Do we have to just find out while we’re there? Thanks

I have activated my pass and can’t find a way to deactivate it should that be needed. I have added 6 train routes to my trip and clicked the toggles to yellow which I assume links to the pass  . My first journey is tomorrow so panicking a bit! Clicking on view ticket says no trips connected to pass 😩  can anyone help me please. I activated pass 9 April as my 11 months was up 10 April , regards John

I am wanting to travel from the UK to Switzerland and Germany. Am I able to use the Eurostar from London to Paris or Brussles with Eurail pass. Is this possible even if I start in the UK/London? ie is a train from the UK included even though I am British and from the UK?

Hi, I am new to Eurail and having a problem with booking some trains through France. We are a group of 6 travelling from Barcelona to Avignon, Avignon to Nice and Nice to Lyon in mid-June. All of the trains we want are ‘seat reservation required’. We are able to add the trains to our cart, but then we get the ‘one of the legs of your journey cannot be booked’ error message each time. I have tried booking for less passengers because I read there may be a 5 person limit for booking, but the same error message still comes up. Can someone please explain why this may be happening and how we can get the booking to work?Thank you in advance!!

First time user. Travelling from Aus to Europe in June. My first train trip will be Paris to Zurich oh June 10. I have logged onto my eurail account and clicked on seat reservations. My pass is first class. It seems to be telling me the seat reservation is over $100 😩. Is that right.

Hi everyone. EuroRail rookie here. Just wanting to confirm the facts Ive read already from various blogs. We are travelling on a 1st class global pass for 2 months to about 11 countries (Germany, Austria, Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland) I would like to ask if travelling within the same country (ie Switzerland or Hungary) is included in our global pass? I know it may not be include travel WITHIN a city (ie metro trains, trams, metro buses), but does it cover travel from city to city? Does this also include buses from city to city? Are any of the above 11 countries preclude this? Thanking everyone in advance. Kind regardsYoungCoupleOZNZ

Im confused. I purchased first class eurail pass and ended up standing for 2hrs and was also told that if i wanted to use the first class area no seat reservation required  i had to pay extra.  Whats the point of first class travel if i cant get into a first class carriage.

My daughter is currently studying in the UK for 4 years and has a student visa. She has an American Passport. Do purchase an Interrail pass for her or can I purchase a Eurorail pass with the rest of our family?

Hi,I would be grateful is someone could please verify if the EURail pass is valid on travel, through Spain, Portugal and the UK and Scotland, in September/October 2023, I am hearing in Australia that it’s not valid in the UK and Scotland due to "Brexit”. We are staying in Birmingham and will need to travel to Scotland by Train, then flying to Dublin, is this better than flying we have luggage 23 kg, Where do we catch the train from in Birmingham and what train is the fastest to ScotlandWe hope to get a EURail pass and use the trains.Any help we would be greatful. Kind regardsSharon

When booking the tickets for our family trip in Italy, I erroneously entered my stepfather’s information as Ms. and not Mr. Would this be a concern, or is it not a big deal?

Good night!  22/06 I’ll take Bernina Express from Chur to Tirano and arribes at 12:49.  The same day I hacve to arribe to Venice, and I have a FrecciaRossa from Milan to Mestre at 18:45.  Problem is that there will be some railworks and Trenord told me that timetables not will be ok till 11/06.Wich will be the best way to arribe from Tirano to Milano between 13 and 18:30 hours on 22/06? There will be buses from Tirano to Milano or to another station where I can take another train to Milano? This buses will be at Tirano’s station and  how to reserve a place at them or buy tickets thankyou so much to all

I’m trying to decide between buying point to point or Eurorail --- the most expensive part of the trip is the Eurostar from London to Paris. But I can’t see where I can make sure seats are still available using the pass on the specific day I need to travel. Suggestion?? Thanks!

Bought my first ever Interrail Pass (Global Pass) today. First trip will be The Hague to Labenne in France. The planner gives a trip with a 5 minute connection time on Rotterdam Centraal (stoptrein to Thalys). So isn't it better to take an earlier train from The Hague to Rotterdam? And can I use that earlier train as an outbound trip?

Does anyone know when I can book a high speed train from Tirano to Florence for September 7th

Hi, just trying to clarify how outbound / inbound travel can be used.  From UK, would I be allowed to travel from Edinburgh to London and then eurostar to Paris, as my outbound journey if all in one day, or only the Eurostar leg?  And if I did either of these and no more travel that day, does it count as one of my (probably 7) travel days?  Thanks!

Has also Someone a problem to reach the support by mail, there is no one really answering.

Hi,I am new and finding this all very complicated, honestly wishing I had never bought the pass.I have a mobile global first class pass and planning to travel next week.I have read loads of previous questions and have been searching trips, adding them to My Trip and then to My Pass to show tickets.Really appreciate some help to my questions-1) I have read that although I have a ticket, it doesn’t guarantee a seat on the train, for trips with no reservations needed, do I now have to find out the train company and see if I can make reservations?2) My pass shows a bar code for the day with several trips, does that ticket/bar code cover every trip for the day?3) Do all trains have first class carriages? Trips without reservations, do I just look for seats in first class and if none available, go to 2nd class?4) Some trips have a very short transfer to change trains, is there a way of finding out platform numbers before arriving so I don’t miss the train?I am so confused and with only havin

On our mobile pass, stands EXPired. We planned our trip for this tuesday! What to do? We could use it up to the end of  May! All the trips stands in the schedule.

Hi,I got awarded with my Inter-rail pass in June 2022, claiming that pass’s due day for activation to be May 2023 and the last day for use to be June 2023.I haven’t used any of my traveled days nor used a train but the app says that my Pass has expired although I haven’t used it yet.I was planning to use in on February so I need urgent help.I would be glad if anyone were to help.

Hi. I’ve seen on here that its not possible to reserve seats online for Zagreb - Split trains. Would anyone who’s been interrailing in Croatia recommend booking reservations on the day, or taking an alternate route? We are travelling in May. Thank you!

My interrail pass expired like 3 days ago and I did not get the chance to activate it (because I didn’t event knew that I had to do that). I tried to reach costumer support and they did not try to help me. If there’s anyone who had the same problem and has a solution please let me know.  Please don’t answer if you did not have the same problem.

Hi, I’m currently in Riga and am looking to get to Poland. I don’t really plan to stop in Lithuania. I’ve tried to plan my journey on the app but no stations appear. As far as I’m aware, some stations for the Baltics aren’t available so I would need to add manually. However, when I have googled routes the only options that come up are via buses. I’d obviously like to make the most of my pass if possible so would rather a train. Does anyone know if it is even possible to get to Poland via train from Riga and if so how? Also, would it be included on my pass (I have a continuous global pass)?  Thanks in advance ☺️
