Hello! We are looking to purchase the interrail plus pass (beta) which include most seat reservation costs. That is 29/3 and we want to travel in August however it says the pass will need to be activated within 3 months of purchase. Does this mean we need to book the seats and travel in August within 3 months or does it mean we need to travel within 3 months.  AlsoHas anyone used the plus pass with seat reservation costs covered and is it worth it? Thanks! ☺️

So I have to make some seat reservations as for some of the trains, its mandatory. What if I book a seat and I miss the train on the day, would I have to book another seat for myself or would I be given another seat in another train? The hard part of my travel is that the schedule is not fixed even though the route is fixed, which makes things complicated for me.

Hi everyone! I’m trying to book couchettes for 4 people on the overnight train Paris-Cerbere but when I try to book with interrail. There’s two option both at 88 euros and they don’t specify which one is the seated option and which one is the couchette option. Could you help me please? Thanks xxx

We are trying to book trains for Europe online from Canada. We are blocked from booking with our Eurail passes until 150 days in advance of our travel.  We’re not traveling until October of 2026.  We’re concerned that when we get to 150 days prior there will be no seats available.  As a test, we’ve tried from today to book out 150 days in the future and get the message that “no reservations available for pass holders” on one of the legs we’re traveling later this year for any of the trains shown.  Are we going to be restricted from booking or is there a certain time (GST) that we should start tryng 150 days in advance of our first booking?

Hi, I recently finished a round trip through southern England and was really looking forward to seeing my statistics. Unfortunately, they still show outstanding kilometres and trains because I’d saved a few alternative connections that I didn’t end up using. Now I can’t delete them, so the journey seems somehow incomplete. Do I just have to live with it, or is there a way to wrap things up properly? I’d also like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the helpful tips in the forum, which made the trip a smooth and unforgettable experience 🙂

Hello, I’d like to go on 4th July from Mora (Sweden) via Stockholm (taking the night train to Hamburg Hbf) and take the next connecting train to Lübeck (connecting train will be on 5th July). Will this journey show up on my Interrail pass as ONE trip? Or as 2 trips because of the connection on the following day?I can book at SJ from Mora to Hamburg with reservation fee for the couchette in advance. But it’s too early for booking the connecting trail to Lübeck at DB Regional. How should I hadle this to get most profit of my Interrail pass? Thanks for your advice.

I have tried to book seat reservations on ACP Rail.  Every time I try to pay it gets refused.  Even if my card provider has confirmed and approved payment.  Totally mystified

Hello!Does anybody know whether it is possible to buy a paper Interrail pass at the RENFE ticket office in Barcelona?I'm not talking about reservations but I'm actually looking to buy my paper Interrail pass there if possible. Thank you!!

Hi everyone,My name is Yessica. I will be traveling from Belgium to Madrid by train.I would like to make my reservations before my trip because I prefer to have everything well organized, especially since I will be traveling alone (it’s my first time traveling alone 😊).For this reason, I would like to buy the Eurail Pass now and make reservations for the trains where it is required. However, I only want to activate the pass on the day of my first trip.My question is: if I make reservations in advance, will the pass be activated automatically before my actual travel date?Since these are high-demand travel dates, I want to make sure I won’t have any issues finding seats. Is it possible to make reservations and pay for them in advance without activating the pass?Thank you very much for your help!

Hello. I am trying to plan travel from Euston London to Liverpool Lime Street. The EURail trip planner was unable to reserve my seats for me, so I am trying to do it myself. The ACP website says that “this product is not available in your region” when I try to reserve the trip from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street. Should I try to find another way there, another way to get the seat reservation, or should I simply try to board when I actually am at the train? My trip is planned for May, and I am worried that the train will be full, and that I will be unable to board. Any thoughts? Thank you for your help.

Hi everyone,I’ve purchased an Eurail Global Pass and added it to the Rail Planner app. I then made a seat reservation for an upcoming trip (paid €12), but realized afterward that I hadn’t activated the pass yet.I’d like to set this reserved trip as Day 1 of my pass validity. Does anyone know how to retroactively assign it or activate the pass starting on that date? Any tips are appreciated! Thanks!

Using the Global pass and traveling from Hamburg to Odense. Two of the legs say “open seating.” As first time rail travelers, are we really going to be able to find seats?! Please advise.

Hi,Me and some friends are wanting to travel in France, Italy and Switzerland but won't know until about a month before if we can stay for 10 days or 15 days. So I wondered if we booked seats for us doing 15 days as we want to add the extra 5 days on at the end when we're in Italy. Would we be able to cancel our seat reservations for the trains in Italy and then change our eurostar seat reservations to being earlier.

Hi all, I’m just entering my planned excursion. The very first thing I put in my trip plan is a train from Tiverton in Devon to London St Pancras Int.Even though I know that there’s a train at 21.11 that gets in at 00.39 the trip planner on both the App & website sends me on a 22hr trip including going to the Netherlands to get a ferry back!!!!How do I get it to register the train that I actually want to take. Can I use my pass to book it away from the site?Cheers for any help

Very confused… on this page: https://www.eurail.com/en/help/interested-in-eurailing/do-i-need-a-eurail-or-an-interrail-pass it says “A Eurail Pass can only be used by non-European citizens or non-European residents. European citizens can use an Interrail Pass instead, available from Interrail.eu for the same price as a Eurail Pass.”But on https://www.myinterrail.co.uk/interrail-passes/ - it’s all about Interrail passes for UK people? Thanks in advance!

Ciaoo! Volevo chiedere se ci fosse una tratta di treno  da Oslo a Bergen incluso in Interrail . Grazie!!!
