Hello, I have a question about the pass. I know that the pass must be picked up offline. However, is there a way to know the pass cover number before receiving the paper pass? (Is the pass cover number presented at the time of ordering, or can the number be obtained only through the physical pass) Also, can the eurail greek island pass be purchased from other country’s railway authorities? I am visiting Germany, England, France, Switzerland before visiting Greece.

I got a question regarding our upcoming trip to Italy. We plan to travel from Florence to Pompeii with train, however it doesn't appear to be possible to book the trip directly, as the train stops in Napels. Do we need a seperate train ticket besides our interrail passes from Napels to Pompeii or are we missing something? Thank you in advance!

Hi, where can I find the seatmap for night trains to Palermo .. I made the Reservat for couchette comfort 4 people but not sure how the seats are distributed..

Hello, I am looking at planning a portion of our trip from Pontorson to Antibes France using our 2 month global passes.  Im wanting the shortest time for our route which comes up as Pontorson to Rennes to paris Gare de Lyon but from paris Gare de Lyon to Antibes its saying ‘pass not valid - you have to buy a full fare ticket to board’.  Im wondering why we would have to buy another ticket with our passes? Thanks!

Hi. My boyfriend and I will be traveling in Spain in the month of June. We bought non-refundable Eurrail passes before we realized we can’t reserve Renfe seats online. Do you think we will have a problem booking trains in person when we arrive in Spain? We will need Barcelona=>Valencia four days after we arrive, so the earliest we can physically go to the station to buy tickets is four days in advance. We are also going to need Malaga=>Seville and Seville=>Madrid, and those will be about a week and a half/two weeks later. Can we buy all the tickets in person in Barcelona? And do you think we will still be able to get the tickets on short notice? Thank you so much in advance!

Hi, I need some help please 🤗Im planing on traveling through Europe, I live and have a resident permit from Romania but my passport is from Argentina. So I dont know if I should buy an Eurail or Interail pass.

Wish to book 2 bus tickets from Narvik to Fauske in Norway on 13/04/2023. Can anyone please give me a web site or telephone number please so I can go ahead. Thanks

As an Inter-rail newbie I’m not clear exactly which stations are included in the pass, both in the UK and on the continent and wondered if it’s possible to check prior to purchasing to avoid additional costs later on? The online map only shows the main locations but we’d like to confirm whether other sections of our anticipated trip are included before purchasing the passes!  Specifically Reading to London and Marseille to Toulon. Would be grateful for your help.

Hi everyone, I was trying to book seat reservations for some UK trips, however, when it comes to this stage (shown on the picture below), the page doesn't refresh when I click the “continue” button. Has any one had the same issues of it’s just me? I did switch to different browsers and it was the same.

When I buy the 4 days in one month ticket, is it activated since the date of the purchase or does it start with the first day of travel?

I have the interrail pass and travelling to Paris on the weekend. The last train needs seat reservation but I cannot reserve through the app. It says “Pass holder reservation may be sold out”I have everything planned and really cannot cancel my travel! Is there any other way I can get the seat reservation? Thanks!

Hi.  I can only find passes within one country or all 33 countries.  I was looking to buy a pass for two bordering countries.  I thought these used to exist.  Have they been eliminated? Thanks for the help.

I am travelling from Barcelona to Paris via TGV Inoui 9708. I have purchased the global pass and have made my seat reservations from Barcelona. However, i am planning to visit Girona as well. Can i board the train from Girona (which is the next station after barcelona) ? Does this cause any problems?

Hi , I am planning to visit Istanbul ( not the whole Turkey) in the next summer July /augustus , with my girl friend ( we are  63 and 67 years old ) , the cheapest alternative  , Saturdays are preferred to start  and to come back  days to The the Netherlands ( Rotterdam or Den haag central stations) .Also I want to stay some hours  in some of the EU cities / stations  on my way to Istanbul ( not in the way back) and restart my travel again to Istanbul , the travel wil be less than 4 weeks including travel days .-Is that possible ??  -what will be the the costs  to go there and come back ? the cheapest alternatives , please , we are open for other suggestions over the travel days ...etc.  .-what do we need for reservations , it is  now only ONE TRAVEL experiment, may be next year we will make it again , if it will be successful one . I do not think I will use the train for other destinations in the future .-Please feel free to give us any other advice's.Regards ,

Hi, i would like to know what is the best itinerary to take to go from France to the mainland Greece?I general, how long does it take and what pass should i buy? There are no itineraries indicated on the website that's why i would like to know if someone who has done this trip before could help me. Thank you a lot!

Hi guys,Does enyone know if there are ferry’s from Folegandros to Naxos? When looking online I can only find dates until the end of May. I would travel beginning of June. Do the ferry’s not run anymore in summer? Or are the trips not yet scheduled?I’m interested in the ‘normal’ ferries. And not the fast & expensive ones.As we would want to takt this ferry with the Greek ferry pass. Thanks,Laurie

Hi,I want to buy the 4 days in one month ticket.I would travel overnight, does it count as one day because the journey is in the frame of 24 hrs or does ist count as two days because it covers two days in the calender? Thanks!Best wishesEllen

Hi there,I’m taking this trip in july (see previous question) I talked about it to my friends and some are worried that I’m going to spend too much time on the trains, especially in comparison with the time I get to spend ‘not traveling’. I have done several long train journeys, but never that many in 1 trip. Is it too much on the train, moving around to really enjoy the trip?Any thoughts from experienced train-travellers?

Hey there, might be a stupid question, but it really matters to me.I have a 2 month global pass and in the Railplanner-App it says “Activate this pass by 19th April”. Just to make sure: I can activate it ON the 19th april, right? I dont have to do it UNTIL 19th April?I am a bit nervous about my trip, so I just wanted to make sure not to be 1 Day too late :DThank you very much.P.

Does it matter that I can’t book on the Eurail pass site and therefore can’t see the trips on my pass app? Both times I have booked a night train. The first from Berlin to Budapest we had to have a seat reservation and booked it through OBB using our pass details. Then the second, from Amsterdam to Zurich, showed it was available and included but wouldn’t let me choose it to make the seat reservation that was recommended - ie my cart was empty. So I have also booked on OBB. Just wondering if it matters that I can’t book them on my pass. Or if I am doing something wrong/not seeing something obvious in the process. Thanks, any help appreciated!
