Solved

I hope someone can help me hereI have started adding trips to my pass on the phone app. When I log in to my account on my computer I don't see these trips. Does this not sync?Do I need to re-add the trips manually so I can view them clearer on my laptop? This seems rather strange?Sarah

Hello Jury here , Is there a direct night train from Salzburg Austria to France Italy? Thanks

Hello We want to travel from Greece to Italy this summer. And for this we’ll buy the 6 days pass. But to us it is not completly clear how we can travel from Patras to Athen. We know that there should be trains or busses and this tranfer is inclused in the pass. But how does this work? Where can we see where and when these buses and trains depart? Do we have to make any seat reservations? Is the pass (what has been filled out for the ferry) enough to board the train / bus or are additional forms needed? And for travelling back from Greece to Italy, does it work the same way?And another question: would it be cheaper if we just bought the global pass and would buy the ferries to the islands and to greece seperately? Thank you for your answersKind regards

I have seat reservations a train from London to Paris and Paris to Barcelona tomorrow. Due to strike action in France the train from Paris to Barcelona has been cancelled. As this is the start of my trip, I am going to have to fly from London to Barcelona and then continue my Interrail journey from there.I have filled in the Interail delay compensation request form online in the hope that they will refund me for the seat reservations and the lost travel day.Would it be possible to get a refund from SNCF for the last minute flight from London to Barcelona? If so, how would I contact them? Not a good start to my trip (especially as I wanted to avoid flying!)Thanks in advance for your help.

I am trying to find a way to get from the center of Paris (Gare du Nord if possible) to Charles du Gaulle Airport via the eurail pass... any suggestions?Thank you in advance!

Hello and good day to you.  I am looking to see the cost of reserving a Train originating in Paris, going to Garmisch/Partenkirchen. on the Eurail seat reservation it states from $104.5.  Is that the price per passenger or is it for all 5 of us traveling.  Please let me know, thank you.

Hi!Me and my friends are planning on Travelling in may. We are thinking of starting in Greece, and maybe go the the smaller islands there or to just stay in Greece and travel around there. Then we are thinking of taking the fairy to Italy and from there go to Schweiz and Austria or maybe France and Spain. Im wondering what kind of pass would fit best for this? I have checked the global pass but the problem is with Greece when you only get 30% discount on the ferries and I realized that the ferries are pretty expensive. The boat trip from Greece to Italy isn’t included in the global pass right? We don’t want the train tickets and boat tickets to become too pricy. Is it worth having a global pass when going to Greece? Or is it better to just buy ordinary tickets for this trip? Do you have any tips and if you have taken the ferries in Greece, what did it cost for you?

Hi there, I am travelling for 3 months (unlimited travel days) with The Netherlands as starting point, and wanted to go to the balkans/eastern Europe. However, when looking up trains in this area I can barely find any unfortunately. Ive seen some other topics from a while ago about this too, but I find it hard to figure out what I need to do/conclude from it. Is it better to just not go there at all as you need to take busses a lot (and those are not covered by interrail)? I’ve also read some things about there being trains in serbia and North-macedonia but just not internationally registred so it’s hard to know what the schedules are. Are there alternatives that are worth it? F.e. I saw that Romania is accessible still by a night train from budapest, and that it is possible to go from there to Sofia and then a train to halkali (Istanbul-west). Is this doable? Sorry if this is a bit vague but im new to this and really struggling with planning my trip.Thank you in advance for any help!

Hi all,Recently purchased the Eurail Pass and can’t wait to visit Europe at the end of this month. I have added the mobile pass to m phone and got the trip set up, the QR codes even shows up already and all the travel day has been used. However, I have few confusions:There are few trips that requires seat reservation, one of them is for the trip from Switzerland to Milan using EuroCity train. Went through the OBB ticket site, the trip seems to exist but it said that the ticket is unavailable, what does this mean exactly? No more seat left? Or it’s just that it’s not available online? Do I have to book directly at the station? What happens if till the end I didn’t manage to book a reservation? Will I still be able to hop on the train and just sit randomly or will I not be allowed to board at all. Thanks and hopefully this is not a duplicated question.

At the end of November 2022 I received a promotional email for Interrail. It advertised a 20% discount. That seemed like a great deal so I bought a couple passes.Currently I can purchase the same passes without a discount for about €115 less than I paid then. Has Interrail reduced their prices?

I cannot see any email confirmation of my global pass and there is nothing in my order overview as well. However, my credit card was charged for this transaction. My trip is in a couple of days and I URGENTLY need the pass in my account or a refund so I can repurchase. This is such a HUGE stress on my trip and a massive inconvenience. PLS HELP!

Hello, I would like to ask you. I would like to go:  Day 1 - rome - florence - romeDay 2 - rome - napoli - pompei - napoli - rome Is it possible to use interrail pass from napoli to pompei? Is it nescessary to reserve a seat? Is there any chance high-speed trains will be full?  Thank you

Danke!

I booked reservations from Paris to Luzern.  It's three legs - Paris to Mulhouse, Mulhouse to Basel, then Basel to Luzern.  When I bought the ticket on Eurail, the reservation on the ticket only said it was to Mulhouse.  However, when I look at the ticket on my eurail account, it says "ready to board" for those last two legs.  Just concerned  my ticket does not reflect all of the way to Luzern.

Hi everybody, I plan to start my interrail from Lyon (France). I have a connection at Mulhouse (France) and then Basel (Switzerland), where I want to take the Euronight train to go to Praha (Czech Republic). The departure from Basel is at 9.15 pm. The thing is I don’t see where I can book a couchette (sleeper place) for this train online. And I do not want to arrive at Basel and to have to spend the whole night in a classic seat. Anyone had the same issue ? Many thanks in advance for your help !

I am from Japan and currently studying English in Malta. I have a Student visa from 5th of Jan 2023 to 20th of June 2023. Before my student visa is expired, I am planning to travel.Could I know which pass I should buy?  Eurail Pass OR Interrail pass?

Hello, I would like to go to Lauterbrunnen tommorrow, I will go from Remscheid and I check from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen (Not in Pass network), it means I have to buy a separate ticket?!There are also from Remshied to Paris, again (some Not in Pass network). I really disapponted when get the ad that eurail can be used in 33 countries, the fact I have to buy additional ticket...

Specifically I’m looking at the Katowice to Vienna (Wien) international route. This is one of the routes that is subject to “Oferta Super Promo International” - there are PDFs available that show this pricing applies to most, if not all international rail routes into Poland. It seems this was started in early 2022.Normally on the PKP/Intercity booking site https://www.intercity.pl/en/ , when booking a domestic train you can select a Eurail “reservation only” from the Discount/reservation type dropdown list on the selected train. No problems, it works as far as I’m aware. If I select almost any train a few days ahead from Katowice to Wien Hbf on the PKP/Intercity website, there is no option to select Eurail, I just get the message that it’s a special offer with a tick-box that cannot be deselected. I need to reserve two months ahead and cannot see any way around this.Polrail say they can reserve a seat, but their pricing to buy a full ticket on this route bears no relation to the PKP pub

Hi, my wife and I will be Eurailing in Germany, Italy, and Switzerland in mid-May. From what I read, I don’t trust the Eurail mobile site/app to make seat reservations. Can that be done by, say, the German Rail site and do I need to input that info into the mobile pass? I don’t plan on activating the pass until we get to Frankfurt airport. Secondly, I won’t have a SIM card for the first couple of days so how can a conductor read a QR code. I’m beginning to regret buying the mobile version. Scott

If the statement ‘no seat reservation required’ comes up, but you would still like to reserve seats, how do you go about that? I have tried a number of options, but can’t seem to access the opportunity to reserve seats unless it is recommended. I have tried on both the mobile app and the website.  (We have mobile Eurail Passes.) Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Eurail Community,We will be travelling in Italy (Rome, Florence, Siena, Tuscany and back to Rome) this summer.  To what extent will there be rail disruptions between those cities?Thank you.Sean

Hi all- do uk citizens need to prove covid vaccine if travelling into Europe? im going to be travelling through France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Portugal with partner and 5 yr old child. thanks!

I live in the UK. I have a global pass to start with Eurostar trip from London to Brussels in 2 weeks.  I booked seat reservations through Interrail app.  I want to change the date by two days.  Can I do that without charge still using my first free trip leaving the UK?  How do I do that?

Does the 7 days travel within 1 month have a outbound and inbound ticket for my own country?

Hi everyone, I have an interail global pass and am wanting to book a couple of seat reservations on longer journeys.  One journey is the 8.28am Wien HBF to Munich on 28 July and the other is Buchloe 9.36am to Zurich Hb on 1st August. It looks like it’s 9euros to use DB for reservations or 12euros to use OBB - am I doing it correct? (it’s for 2 adults and 2 kids) I’ve booked the DB one already (seat reservation only) from Buchloe to Zurich. I didn’t need to enter anywhere that I have an interrail pass - is this right? Juat thought I’d check before I make the reservation for the Wien to Munich train using DB. Thanks in advance!
