This is my travel plan first to get from Zurich Hb to Halkali as soon as possible. If there is a faster way than I have in the pictures, please tell me. From Istanbul I will go by bus to Thessaloniki (because there seems to be no train connection) and then by bus from Thessaloniki to Sofia. Then from Sofia to Bucharest to Budapest and finally back to Zurich Hb. Is that too much for the 15 days I have planned? Would you take Greece off the list?

Hi There,All advice  appreciated- I’m a first timer!  I bought 2 x global mobile passes for my daughter and I & we loaded them on our respective phones. I haven’t activated either yet. I’m doing all the bookings, but how do i do them for both of us if her pass is on her phone? Can I add her pass back to my phone if the purchase of both passes was made by me?  Thank you in advance

I'm trying to figure out how the eurorail system works. We are getting a month unlimited pass and I'm seeing that some people are talking about making reservations. Does that still apply to me? Can l night travel with my first class without a reservation?  Thank you

We are two seniors from Canada who will arrive in Southampton on September 8 (after completing a cruise) and wish go from Southampton (presumably via London) to Paris on the same day.  We can depart Southampton by 9 AM.  After getting to Paris and spending a couple of days, we wish to train from Paris on September 11 and go to Luxemburg.  Then, after a river cruise, we wish to go from Basel to Lucerne on September 19 and then, the next day on September 20 from Lucerne to Zurich.  We do recognize that, after purchasing the pass, we need to separately purchase reservations.  Are there agents who can do all this for us?  Any assistance would be appreciated. Ross and Maureen

Hartelijk dank, Dick

Hello,I just booked a Paper Ticket (I need the ticket for a trip which will start at 1 April 2023). During the Payment Process the estimated delivery dated showed “28 March 2023” which would have been close, but probably fine. However, at checkout the estimated date of delivery had postponed to 7 April 2023 (which would render the ticket useless for me). Of course, at checkout it is too late to change anything. Most important Question: How can I proceed from here? In order to use the mobile pass I would have to buy a new Smartphone (mine doesn’t support iOS 13). The Paper Ticket will probably be late. Moreover, I probably cannot return the Paper Ticket in Time, because I will not be at home then. Is there any other way to obtain and use a ticket in time for the journey? Is it still possible to get a full 100% refund for the ticket (for the different estimated of delivery are quite deceptive), not the usual 85% refund?Any help would be highly appreciated! All the best, thomas

If I purchase 2nd class ticket (mobile pass), can I pay addition for upgrading to 1st class?

Hi, just checking my understanding re a 7 days in a month ticket - if my outbound trip starts with an overnighter and then I complete it with a second leg starting in the morning, does that use up 2 days travel? I expect it does!  Thanks

HiI’m leaving for a trip on Friday. It is the first time I will use an Eurorail Pass. I could use a little help to understand how I will be able to activate my pass/trip. Because I never did this before and also because unfortunately, my phone got damaged, so I had to get a new one. On the new phone, I got the app. I also got my passes (from me and my son) - I could move them to the app on the new phone. But I can not see the seat reservations that I made and paid. I have the seat reservations on paper. But I have no idea how to activate a pass without seat reservations in my app.Looking forward to some advice, thanks in advance!Marion

Hello dear community, the question came up a few times, but I still need help.In Summer, I am on tour with our scout group to Sweden and want to book reservation for Swedish trains. But for most of the stuff I get the above-mentioned message. This happens for example for Koeln to Uppsala on the 18.07 or the 25.07. etc.I also can only use the interrail site, because I ordered paper passes (we try to use our smartphone not, if possible in our scout group), but since they haven’t arrived yet, I do not know the number of the passes. Is there any possibility to fix this issue or get the pass numbers early?Thank you :)

How can I book a seat ticket for wheelchair users in France? I can't find a site on the web where I can do this. Is there a phone number I can use where they speak English?

Hi guys :)My dad and I are travelling through Europe from the 2nd June. I heard it’s recommended to book train rides up to 12 weeks beforehand. How can I do this without activating the passes yet? When I look up train rides theres only an option to save to journey but not actually book them. Or do we not have to book train rides that don’t require seat reservations? Can you not book without activating pass online? I’m a bit confused. Also we are travelling from Naples to Pisa at one point and when I look up that trip on that date there is no trains at all? Is that normal or is it too early?

Hello Eurail Experts,I am planning to travel from Rome to Venice. I already reserved the seats for Rome to Venice. As a plan B, I would like to visit Pisa and board the same train from Florence. Is this allowed in Trenitalia FRECCIAROSSA. Will my seat reservations still valid if I board at Florence instead of Rome? Thanks in advance!

We are planning to travel on the overnight train from Amsterdam to Zurich on the 9th August.  I would like to reserve seats but it says ‘no seat reservation required, you can buy a seat reservation if you like but it’s not required’.  How do we reserve a seat?  When you click on the message, nothing happens.

Hello everyone….Good day.I have already purchased the Eurail Pass for me and my family. However, I will be grateful if anyone kindly clarify the following aspects related to seat reservation:Can I do reservation online? If so, what is that link and how to do that and get the reservation confirmation? Can I do the reservation from any station? I mean for example, I need the reservations for MILAN to INTERLAKEN for 10th APRIL. Now can I do the reservation from Roma Termini station on 8th/9th April by going there physically? I need another reservation for ZURICH to PARIS for 12th April. Now can I do that reservation from ZURICH HB station on 11th April by going there physically? Suppose, I have done the reservation for a particular train on a particular time table. However, if I miss that time and want to catch up another train on the same destination on the same day on a different time table, will my previously purchased reservations will do? Or I need to purchase again? If I need to pur
