Solved

I am new to this, and want to be absolutely certain that I don`t get this wrong; when I buy a travle pass, I can use this pass to book tickets directly on the traincompanies websites, and with my Interrailpass code I will get redused prices for the reserved seats?

Hi , i take train from birmingham to king cross london, What that mean transfer by public transport? Tq

Hi there!I discover interrail concept recently and I love it! I plan to go to Göteborg (Gothemburg) from Paris, and from there take a flight for Paris at the end of my trip. I’ll probably be solo traveling the entire journey as a girl, between the last week of July and the first of August and I plan to stay at hostels to cut prices.I used the Trip Planner of Interrail and I was thinking about this travel itinerary (but let me know what you think) :Paris → Odense (connections in Köln/Koeln and Hambourg) (I don’t wish to stop too long by those cities nor Brussels because I’ve already been there for few days); Odense → Copenhagen  Copenhagen → Malmö Malmö → GöteborgI don’t absolutely want to visit Götenborg but the flights are cheaper with this departure. If you have other itineraries let me know your suggestions :)So here are my questionsSince I’m a beginner in this adventure, do you think it’s doable? How many days should I plan to stay in each places? Where or how can I book my train t

Hi,I am trying to connect a trip to My Pass for Day 2.When doing so, I am exclusively linked to my trip for Day1, which is still shown as active (circle left of the trip name is blue). The planned trip for Day2 does not show up. The trip for Day1 could not be completed as planned, because my train to Strasbourg  was cancelled and I had to go through Paris instead.I presume, that the still active trip for Day1 is the cause of my problem. When I want to delete the trip for Day1 under My Trips, I get the message “cannot be canceled (kann nicht storniert werden)”What can I do? Since my data are “in the system” I may have the same problem, when buying a new Pass.Thank you

Hi everyone! In August last year, I bought an interrail pass to go to Sweden. Due to personal reasons, I couldn’t travel in the end so I haven’t used the interrail pass. On my interrail app, the pass appears as “associated with a trip - august 2025” but I haven’t activated it yet. This pass is still working until June 2026 so I would like to use it in April. Do you know if and how I can associate my pass with a new trip to make sure I can use it? I don’t want to click on “activate the pass” but then don’t know how to change the trip and be sure I can use it in April. Thank you so much for your help! Best, Julie

Is there a protection fee available on a global promo pass?

I used to have a ymail account but tried to delete it all after the data breach. I bought a new pass with a new email address and despite deleting app when I reinstall it has all the data that should have been deleted. I log out and log back in with the email address I bought the pass with but it never sends the code I need to add the pass. It’s a dog’s dinner of a mess.

I'm just getting confused reading all the advice, and some people elsewhere saying reservations are compulsory (via PKP) even when the interrail app says theyre 'optional' or just 'recommended'. I want to just activate my day and add short trips today in the rail planner app as I city hop. Apologies for repeating questions, Im just confused, unfortunatelty the conductor here has no English to guide me.

Just - and possibly a daft question - but I am &st time user. After you activate the Pass, and you have all the trips on “My Trip”, Do I then find the QR Code for each leg of a total voyage for the Inspector? Or do I have to do someting else. Just want to get this right. Many Thanks

Hello!Traveling 3/28/2026 - 4/4/2026 Starting from Frankfurt to Geneva Switzerland. Would like to do a scenic route along the Rhine River (would that be a Regional Train?) but I don’t know if a Eurail Pass covers that. What do I need to know about crossing into Switzerland? Do I need to go through customs?Do I need to get any other passes for Germany or Switzerland that would make traveling easier. What about passes for taxis?Thank you for your help.

I activated 1' class global pass. Can i acess to lounge Without reservation of ticket or confirmed ticket in pass? Now i just reached uk. Tq

I am trying to make seat reservation from Munich to Bologna on the 18th july. Due to construction work between Brenner and Innsbruck,  that is not easy. 1) There is a connection at 08:06 and  08:28 where I can only reserve seats for part of the journey. Is that because you don't need seat reservations for RJ113 and R 3843? And I guess the S3 is a lokal train or replacement bus, where seat reservation is not needed? 2) For the connection at 08:52 through Zürich, it is quite expensive. I am used to the 13 euro reservations with the italian trains, but why does the EC 21 cost 13 euro per seat as well? Any suggestions for my travel to Bologna, where I need to be before 22.00 same night. Best regards Karina

Hey! Looking for people who are planning to go Interrailing between August 31 and September 30. I’ll be traveling during those dates and thought it would be fun to meet others who are also train traveling around Europe. Is anyone else going during that time?

Wie heeft ervaring met stiptheid van treinen in Centraal- en Noord-Europa; ik zie soms heel korte overstaptijden van ca 5 minuten; is dat te vertrouwen?

Hello all,With the new beta Global Plus Pass, if I and a friend were to get those, I understand that we would need to book reservations through the Interrail system to get the reservations that are included in the price. However, as you cannot choose seats while booking the reservations on this system, is there another way to reserve seats that are next to each other? (the passes would be on different accounts and phones)Or would it be simpler to just get a normal pass (especially while they are discounted) and reserve seats through RailEurope or directly through operator websites such as Eurostar and Ceske Drahy?Thank you for your time!Joe

Hello, I want to book a seat on the train going from Paris to Zurich on SNCB International (I’d rather do it on their site rather then on rail planner app in order to be seated next to my friend), but when I put France as my country of residence the website takes off the interrail price and puts the regular price without taking into account the pass while it is my only trip to leave my country of residence . Do you know how I could reserve this seat ? Thank you very much for your help !

Hi there, we are flying into London at 6am on the 25th of March and I want to catch a train to Edinburgh. I want to book them now - but I don’t know when I’ll be at kings cross to leave. Would you buy the 9:03 or 9:30am train? Plus how do I book the tickets (seat reservations) I can’t book on eurail- it won’t let me. What do I do?

Do you know if there will be night trains between Narvik and Stockholm between June 20th and July 18th? Currently, when I check the sj.se website, there are no available trips for those dates. I haven't been able to find any information about planned track work or if tickets might go on sale later.  If you have any further information, I would be very grateful. Thank you very much !

I’m planning a trip  from my homecountry Germany to Norway. I plan to travel by train  to Kiel and then take the ferry to Oslo. So I won’t be leaving my country by train. Does that count as an outbound journey? If it does, what ís an outbound journey exactly?

I recently received an email from Eurail about a “security incident involving personal data,” and I wanted to check if others got the same message and whether it’s actually legitimate. The email looks quite official (correct branding and sender address), but it starts with a generic “Dear Customer” and mentions a security issue without many details, which made me a bit suspicious.

I want to take an RJ train from Trento at 9:59 to Munich. On the German Rail Pass brochure it's written that from Italy to Germany it covers only EC trains. But the RJ and the EC have the same stops and take the same time, the only difference is that the first EC is at 13:59, which is too late for me. Can I use the German Rail Pass for the RJ as well?
