Solved

I thought I figured it all out… I am travelling with my Interrail Global Pass (mobile) for the first time. My first journey is from Amsterdam to Frankfurt, with ICE 123. In the Netherlands, I have a NS Flex Dal Vrij subscription, which should allow me to travel for free on the Dutch part of the trajectory. I read everything I could find about this, on this forum and on the NS website. So what I did: I added a trip to my pass, manually added a journey to my trip with the ICE 123, starting at Emmerich(Gr), ending in Frankfurt. I brought my NS card but did not check in in Amsterdam. This is how I understand I should do this. However, the NS personnel on the train made me pay a ticket from Amsterdam to Emmerich(Gr), maintaining that I could only travel on my NS Flex subscription without checking in if I had a ticket from Amsterdam to the border station as well. This cost me 61 Euro (1st class). They did not give me a 50 euro fine. Were they right? If so, how could I do this in the future, wi

We live in the UK. We booked and paid for 2 rail tickets with bike spaces (no they do not fold down) from our home town to Newcastle where the ferry to The Netherlands sails from. Then afterwards we bought a 3 month Eurail pass and realised it INCLUDES one trip to port of leaving your home country and one back from port of re-entry in your home country to our home town. I have been to my local rail station and they say there is no issue with giving me a full refund on these tickets - BUT nobody seems to know how to add our bike spaces (2) onto this Eurail pass! They just look blankly at you as it’s not a UK company! Any tips appreciated - I am going to get the money back as it was £122.60!!! Thanks Community…...

Hi, I’m planning to book Budapest - Rijeka overnight for this summer. On the ‘night trains’ part of the interrail website this is available, as the Istria express.  However, using the app I cannot find any journeys with less than 3 changes. I also can’t find another website to book through, and even if I could, I wouldn’t know how to add the pass as a discount.  Please can someone help? This is to book a night train.

We have Global Interail Passes (2 Months). We would like to take two trips starting in the UK, going out in different directions and flying back to the UK.  We would therefore have two ‘outbound’ home country travel days and zero ‘homeward bound’ home country travel days.  Is this allowed?  All the text refers to one outward home country day and one inward home country day.

Hello, I want to travel from Venice via Bologna to Milan. Both rides on Frecciarossa which requires seat reservation. What happens if I miss the connecting train because of the first train being delayed ? My best guess is that I should see station staff in Bologna, tell the the situation and will be given a new reservation for the next train, if seats are available. Has someone any experience if this usually works smooth in Italy ? Thx for help !

Hello and good day to you all.  I am looking into purchasing the Eurail 15 days two months first class tickets.  I was told that around Easter time tickets are usually on sale.  Do you know approximately when they go on sale?  If I purchase them now and they go on sale do I get credited the difference?  Please let me know, thank you.

I've ordered 4 Global 2 month Continues Passes in the Flash Sale for 2 adults & 2 children (< 11).Both adult & child passes were added to the shopping basket, but after payment the 2 child passes are not visible in the confirmation email/order in my account.Since this is a technical hick-up of the Interrail website, can you please add the 2 child passes to my order? Much appreciated!Thank you!AnoukPlease have a look at the attachments:1st picture is a screenshot of the order that I sent to my (English) partner before payment: here both adult (2) & child passes (2) can be seen selected and added to the basket (4). 2nd picture is right after payment, where only the 2 Adult (Volwassene) passes are visible. 3rd picture is the confirmation email where also only the 2 Adult (Volwassene) passes are visible.
