Solved

Hello, When I booked the Eurail pass, I mentioned the given name (first name + middle name)  under the first name section specified in the passport. I reserved the seat for an OBB Nightjet train directly through their website and during that time I specified only my First name. I did not include my middle name. So now the pass shows the name as my first name + middle name and the reservation ticket shows only my first name. Will it cause any issues while I board the train?  Please advise.

Travelling from Rome to Polignano a Mare in September 2023. Will leave from Termini Station inRome. Will probably get a rail pass as going several other places. Is there a direct train or do we need to transfer somewhere?  Any thoughts on how to get there is appreciated.

I noticed this morning that my account on Eurail.com and the Eurail Rail Planner app are not matching. For example, my trips don't match on both platforms and the seat reservations I made and paid for on the website don't show up on the app. Did I do something wrong? How should I fix this? Thanks!

I made a purchase for the pass to the greek islands and today i received a e-mail saying that the order has been shipped and our pass cover number to make the reservations.I tried to do the seat reservations through the Hellenic seaways site and there is a box where you have to fill in your discount details and I give the pass numbers of our activated greek islands pass. However, when I get to the point when I want the payment to go through, a box flashes up saying that “The document number is not valid”, but i’m using the number they gave me in the e-mailWho can I solve this?

Hello, The Interrail website states that Interrail Global Pass holders do not pay the regular fare for certain ferry crossings from Bari to Patras, but are charged surcharges, taxes etc. Is that correct? Has anyone done this crossing before and know how much it costs with the Global Pass?Thank you!

I would like to travel from Dusseldorf to Warsawa and back for 3-4 days. What kind of pass do I need?

I see on Eurail timetable that there is an overnight train from Basel SBB to Amsterdam it departs at 23:13 and arrives in Amsterdam at 09:58.  My questions are:Is there a sleeper on this train? I looked on Cheap Train Tickets | Timetables for Germany & Europe - Deutsche Bahn website and I see an icon that shows a sleeper, but I want to confirm that it is the case. Also how do I book the sleeper using Eurail global pass? When I go to the above website it does not give me the option to choose Eurail Global pass or a sleeper, furthermore when I try to book it, I get an error stating:We are sorry, but we cannot sell your requested journey online. Please find further information in our contact details.Alternatively, we are happy to offer you the Interrail Pass for the most flexible travel experience in Europe. I also tried the Nightjet website and found the train on their website but for our travel day May 14, 2023 it showed no availability for any type of the sleeper. Is that because th

Hey,I'm currently planning an interrail trip in Scandinavia in March and I'd really like to go doing some hiking in Norway. Is there someone experienced with hiking in Norway, especially during winter-season (March). It would be perfect if the hiking spots could be reached by public transport and if a hostel would be near them.  Thanks y'all for your help in advance! :)Lasse

Hi there, I’ve booked two sleeper cabins on the OBB Nightjet from Brussels to Vienna at the end of July, for my family and me. We’re arriving into Brussels Midi on the Eurostar from London at around 16.00. I didn’t realise but I’ve booked the OBB Nightjet to Vienna from Brussels Nord, when it does actually start from Brussels Midi.  Do you think I should try to change the booking so we get on at Midi or just leave it that we get on at Nord??It departs Nord at approx 19.43, we arrive into Midi at approx 16.00. Many thanks for you help!

Hi, trying to book from Barcelona to Montpellier. Done everything right on the app but it falls over when paying by credit card—also tries PayPal. This also occurred in France and ended up going to the train station. But Barcelona station cannot help—-they just say go on line. I want to leave this Sunday. Also we have many trips across Europe and I would like to use the app and website rather than going to the station all the time.. The message says—-something went wrong please refresh—/but this did not work. Cheers jeff

Our trip to Italy and France will be broken up by a two-week Mediterranean cruise. Is it advisable to purchase two 15-day passes, (15 days before the cruise, and 15 days after), or another pass option?

Hello, I’d like to modify my departure time (Amsterdam > Paris) from 15:15 to 13:15. Does anyone have an idea on how could I do that? Thanks :)

I have added some journeys to the Eurail app on my phone.  Some of these journeys did not require a reservation so I have no other evidence.  But when i go to “Show Ticket” there is no ticket showing. I find this worrying and had Ive have known the whole process was so complicated I would have flown.  At least with an airline you can see your ticket in advance.

How do I add a second pass of my wife to the rail planner app ?

which cheap hostels did u booked? max. 20€/night. thank u so much

Hi, can we use our 50th anniversary flash sale tickets to travel from our home town of Worcester to Paddington, stay overnight with our daughter then catch Eurostar to Paris using our pass for both rail journeys? Is this allowed in terms of the one journeys out and one journey in rules? Thanks, cannot find clear answers elsewhere John

I will be activating my 30 day pass on April 7. I have inadvertently purchased tickets for a time period after my pass will expire. I’m assuming I won’t be able to use those tickets?

I want to take a night train from Munich to Venezia. It leaves at 23pm and arrives 8am next day, so I would need to take this one because of the way I’m managing my travel days. However, when I try to purchase the seat reservation it shows me an information like in the picture below.once I cannot buy the ticket, I was wondering if I could just take the train without seat reservation, once I have no other way to make this trip
