Hello all, Can anybody suggest a reliable source for timetable information for Spain? I have been using RENFE, and not finding much to suit my schedule, and then I decided to try DB and RailEurope, and found many more options listed. RENFE does not seems to list connecting trains (eg Apr 24 Madrid-Granada only shows 3 AVE services, but DB/RE show additional connecting trains via Cordoba, yes, would need two reservations) and does not list local trains (eg Apr 29 El Chorro - Malaga) at all. Very happy to use DB as a source of timetable information if it’s reliable. Also, I saw a post that said that seat reservations for Spain could be done via DB. I haven’t found a way to do this, get reservation not possible message. Is this still possible? Not a major problem as I will have done to make reservations while in Spain. Thanks George

Hi Rookie here from NZThank you in advance for your time.I’ve bought 4 passes 1 adult, 1 senior 2 x youth.  Youth are 16 and 13.  Is it better to have all 4 passes on my device? If husband puts pass / app on his device how do I share the bookings with him? Likewise with the teenagers?  Would you also have the teenagers have the passes on their phones  or on my phone?  Is there a way he doesn’t have to sit and input all the journeys too? Also if I have the passes on different devices how do I make sure we are all sat together when I book seat reservations.   Finally do stations have ticket security barriers? How does this work if we are all on one device?  Is there a separate gate we need to go to?   I appreciate your advice.  Thanks from a Kiwi

Hello,I plan to take boat to visit Bringer See from Interlaken Out to Bringer with EuRail Pass.Do I need to record  my journeys with my trip on th mobile APP ?If the answer is yes,hor to input in APP ?Thank You

I accidentally booked tickets on Eurostar from London to Rotterdam instead of Amsterdam. I can’t change without cancelling the non refundable tickets and can’t seem to add a destination online by managing booking (noting the train stops in Rotterdam). Is it possible to just stay on the train for another stop? Can I amend it on the day?

Hi everyone,1/ Is the reservation fee, bought on Interrail website, refundable?2/ If I need to change train : can I do it after I bought the reservation fee on the Interrail website? If yes, how can I do it?3/ Can we select the seat in order to have a window? aisle? or solo? Thanks

Hello everyoneI am French and have a global pass to travel to the UK.I plan to use my outbound journey like this : from Paris to London and London to Liverpool. But Eurostar trains are opened for reservation 6 months in advance and I would like to make a reservation now for my Paris London, and I would like to make the reservation for London Liverpool later (it’s not possible now). Can the outbound journey with several trains  can be reserved in several times? The same question apply for the inbound journey: I want to do a Edinburg => London => Paris => Toulouse the same day. Can I book now my train London => Paris and book my Paris Toulouse later and that all of this is counted once on my inbound trip?Thank you!

Does anybody have any information/experience/perceptions of if the availability of passholder tickets will be impacted by the current capacity issues on Eurostar?

Hello Community! My sister and i are planning our first interrail trip for 4 weeks in may and June. Because it will be our first interrail tour, we hope to get some help from you. I informed myself a lot, but I'm very confused, because of so much informations. First I will show you the route we want to do:We will start at 25.05.2023 in Valencia? Then: Valencia to Alicante, Alicante to Granada, Granada to Cordoba, Cordoba to Sevilla, Sevilla to Faro, Faro to Lagos, Lagos to Lisbon, Lisbon to Madrid, Madrid to Barcelona, Barcelona to Marseille, Marseille to Nice, Nice to Venedig or Nice to Milan, at the end back to Germany. My questions:I noticed that there are seat reservations required in Spain. Can I book them in advance from Germany at a DB shelter? Or do I have them to book on a RENFE site? First, we thought about buying a global pass, 15 days in two months. Do you think it's better to take less days and use buses instead of trains? Are buses like ALSA a good opportunity to travel chea

Hello! I bought an interrail Global Pass Promo Youth on 11th of MAY 2022.I know that i must activate the pass by the 11th of APRIL 2023, but do I also have to START MY TRIP?Am I "obliged" to travel up to the 11th of MAY 2023 or can I travel beyond? Thanks so much!

Hi everyone,I’m planning for my last day of my Interail Global Pass to go from Copenhagen to Paris next June. The best trip I found out is leaving Copenhagen at 6:56 with 3 short transfers:One in Fredericia st. : 7 minutes One in Hamburg Hbf : 19 minutes One in Mannheim Hbf : 11 minutes to get the TGV at 17:38 (I have a booking)My question is: in case I would miss the last connection in Mannheim, because of train delays, can I take the following ICE train at 19:40 without reservation? It is important for me to know as it will my last pass day. Do you think that this trip, although officialy proposed by DB on their website, with short connections is unrealistic? Thank you for your advices

I have my app on my phone all set up and ready to activate closer to the date of travel. I have added my proposed journeys into My Trip and booked and printed seat reservations where they are needed. My question is I can’t see the grey switch to toggle when I want to add the journey to my pass. Will this only appear once I have activated my pass?Am I right that on the day of travel I flick the toggle switch to yellow to generate the QR code for all journeys on that particular day?Thank you in advance for your answers! As an older lady it is sometimes difficult to get your head around this stuff!

Hello, I would like to make sure I understand the Interrail day system ! I've drawn a trip I'd like to make and the calculator predicts 8 days of travel. I live in Clermont Ferrand, so I would only take the train 7 times to get home when I read the map. Why does the system advise me a minimum of 8 days ?Best,

Gracias

I wonder if you can access all the trains with the global interrail pass or just those on the map?THANKS

Hello travelers! If I choose a one country pass (like Italy, for example) is it possible during one day of travel to only cross a country like Switzerland? Because I'm living in Dijon and to join Venice, I have to cross Switzerland.Thank you in advance :)

For certain dates (London to Amsterdam) the Eurostar site says “Sorry, no trains are available on this date. This could be because the train is sold out, the service is not running, or because tickets are not yet on sale. Please try a different travel date, or check back later.”It’s quite important to know what the reason is - if the train is sold out or not running, fair enough, I’ll plan my visit for another date. But if tickets just aren’t on sale yet, I’d still like to plan my visit for that date and book as soon as tickets go on sale. Does anyone know how to find out? I have filled out a Eurostar query form but they sent me an irrelevant response and then closed the case!

Can anyone recommend interesting towns in The Rhine Valley between Koln and Amsterdam. Travelling over Europe and visiting large cities mostly.Looking for small interesting towns for 3 to 4 days.

I bought the pass through another site.I'm currently traveling and would like to make a reservation for a train, but the app doesn't display the reservation button. That's why I want to book through the website instead of the app. However, web reservations require me to have a pass and be logged into my account. So I just created a new account. However, I don't know how to link the newly created account with the pass I purchased on another site and have already started using. How can I connect in this case? Also, how can I make a reservation for the train?  I'm sorry if it's hard to read because it was written mainly using a translation app.

Is that normal that my reservation made on Eurail, which is now showing in my summary of reservations, has no indication of a link to any rail pass?  It seemed to pull information (class, passengers) from trip information but mentions nothing on the e-billet that I am a pass holder.

Based in London, I’m a senior, solo traveller, and in Italy only having seen Rome and Florence briefly some 50 years ago, Then a sad trip to Venice (nothing to do with the city) in 2010.I want to get to know Italy, particularly its food and wine.  I’m a freelance writer and translator.I am attending a 1-week retreat in Perugia from 15 April and I would like to travel in Italy for 3 weeks after that, from 22 April to 13 May.Should I get an interrail pass for ??? days travel in 1 month? Can I use the Interrail to get to Perugia from the airport when I arrive from London?  I can fly into Florence or Bologna.  The 2nd class Interrail pass does not let you take airport train in Florence, it seems. Does this make sense economically? How do I get the most of the Interrail Pass in my situation.I am not interested in being everywhere, but rather in staying in a place at least 2,3 days and get to know it and its people. The wines I adore from Italy are not the expensive big names, no Super Tuscans

Hello: I am trying to help my parents plan their trip through France this summer.  I was looking into the reservation process and costs for certain trains and it seems that almost all the Nice to Paris trains say Pass not valid.  Similarly the two earliest trains from Annecy to Nice said Pass not valid. These dates were for June and aren't even on sale yet so they can't be sold out. Is it just the certain trains do not allow use of the EU rail pass? Thank you!
