Hi, I cannot find a proper answer to which pass I have to buy. I hold a German passport but do reside outside of the EU (in Namibia): Which pass must I buy? The use of residency and nationality seems quite mixed up to me in the conditions. Thanks

Higlobal pass can be used to get benefits or offers in many services. my question is, 'would using the pass to get such benefits be considered using the pass one day. for example, if I have a 5 day pass and use it only for benefits any of the days, does it mean that day is considered one of 5 days?’ thanks in advance

Llegamos a Madrid, el 19 de mayo y queremos comprar el Eurailpass 4 días en un mes, ya que estaremos hasta el 6 de junio. Queremos ir a La Toscana en Italia. Como puedo diagramar mi viaje? Gracias

Is anyone able to tell me why I am seeing this message for this train in May? I was of the understanding that we don’t need to book seats for trains in Switzerland but am unsure what to do here. Does this mean this train is already booked out? Thanks for any help!!

Maybe someone who has been to Spain in the last year or so can help me. I was able to get all my seat reservations from DB on paper. Can I just go to my train using the interrail pass and the reservation or do I have to trade the reservation in Spain into a different ticket of some sorts?

Hi. We’re due to arrive in Amsterdam tomorrow, activate our passes and take a train to Duisburg. As of today the interrail app is now saying this route isn’t covered by the pass, it was yesterday! Anyone any idea what’s going on? Thanks.

Hello!I have a question about my 4 day interrail ticket!!Ive been wondering; If my night train starts at 6pm and arrives at 4am the next day. Does the journey count as 1 or 2 traveldays??thanks, Madita

I have created two trips wtth 2 different passes as the app would not let me link 2 passes to the same trip.

I am planning to travel from Haparanda to Kemi and planned to take a bus no.8 at Uusi silta to KemiIs it possible to walk from Haparanda Tornio bus station to Uusi silta with large luggage in January? If not by walking, Is there any taxi around and how much would it cost? Or any suggest route?

Hi! So I’m traveling in mid-april to Europe and I have an Eurail pass. The thing is, I incorrectly made reservations for a train leaving on 2/26 (didn’t check the date correctly, silly me). My question is, will a ticket reservation activate my Eurail pass? Or does that incorrect reservation simply gets lost in limbo, and I continue as usual with my (now correct) train reservation for mid-April?

Confused about the use of trips. I have a  2 month pass and have created a trip which I intend to share with my wife. However, I intend to make another shorter trip independently; the app has a + feature for multiple trips, but will not allow me to connect the new trip to my pass ( only option is connect to paper pass?). What is going on? Can I create and connect multiple trips in app or not?

Hello thereWhen I have a passport from country A and in this passport my residential country is documented as Country B: What is my residential country? A or B or can I chose? Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I read somewhere that direct trains out of Spain to other European countries aren’t running this year. Is that true? Im trying to get from Barcelona to Paris in may this year, but before i book a reservation, was wondering if they will actually be running.. TIA Peter

Hi!I interrailed abit through eastern/central europe last year, not with the pass at its so confusing haha. I always just booked trainticket and seat a day or two before and then I went to the next city with the exception from Vienna to Budapest which I had to delay for one day as the one I wanted was full. This worked perfectly. But I’m I’m considering taking a trip from early june for a month trough abit more expensive routes and would need some help finding routes that often dont get booked far in advance as I dont like planning too far ahead. I was thinking maybe going something like this:-Barcelona 3-4 nights-Nimes 2 nights (train to Nimes)-Nice 3-4 nights (flexibus/train to Nice)-Milan 3 nights (train to milan)-Venice 3-4 nights (train to milan)-Ljubljana or Zagreb 2-3 nights (bus to Ljubljana seems like best option?)-Split 2-3 nights (train to Split)-Dubrovnik 2-3 nights (ferry to Dubrovnik)-And to Athens, but unsure on how. Maybe plane from split or dubrovnik? Would love to bus

Hi,I’m travelling from Prague to Geneva.I’m taking the sleeper train Prague (18:21) to Zurich (08:20) overnight then Zurich to Geneva on that same day.I know the first part of the journey counts as 1 travel day because it’s overnight. What about the 2nd part of the trip? Is this considered as a 2nd travel day or is this still part of the first travel day? They need to be booked/reserved separately.Thanks.

Hi there,Does anyone know if there’s some quirk with the booking engine for booking EN trains?Last night I mapped out options on oebb.at for every possible destination (NJ & EN) from Zurich for a particular weekend (28th or 29th or 30th April) yesterday and later in the night agreed the plans with the others who are traveling.Tonight I went to book Zurich-Zagreb and it shows no availability at all for any of the 3 days.  Yesterday it showed availability for all.  Sleepers & couchettes for 29th & 30th and seats only for 28th.I know it’s possible that they all suddenly sold out in theory, but in practice it’s not exactly likely that there was a sudden rush for this particular train, for all of these days, in less than 24 hours. Is there some quirk like seats being taken back off the market and then being put back on?  Or is there some other explanation for this? Thanks,David

Hi,The UK is my country of residence.I'm travelling from Edinburgh to Paris (Edinburgh-London by national rail + London-Paris by Eurostar).Do the 2 trips count as 1 outbound journey in my own country or is this 2 and I need to book the Edinburgh to London separately please? This would be over 2 days (overnight in London) as I'll be heading straight to Prague from Paris.I won’t need the ‘return’ in my own country at the end of the trip. Thanks

Are the Nordland trains included in the pass, Trondheim Bodo?

Hi everyone! I am trying to buy a ticket from Bucharest to Sofia (and also Sofia to Istanbul afterwards), both for me (with a Eurail global pass) and my son (who doesn’t have one). I’ve seen a couple of other people here trying to work out how to buy these tickets online, but they don’t seem to be available from the main national rail websites. Since we are on a fairly tight schedule, and need to book accomm. etc in advance (and not have any probs with full trains etc), we really want to try and book in advance. So the question is: did anyone manage to do this, and if so -- how? Any experiences or feedback gratefully recieved...the trip is for April (7-10) btw, and I would be happy to just book the tix without the Eurail pass if that’s easier. Thank you :)

Hi there we are travelling to Europe in April/May 2023 from Australia for our Honeymoon which was postponed from 2020. We have a 1st Class Eurail Pass and I am having trouble booking seat reservations for the following journeys: (IC143) Amsterdam Centraal - Berlin Hbf / 9:10 - 15:25 on 20/4/2023(EC360) Prague Hlavni Nadrazi - Munich Hbf / 7:43 - 13:18 on 28/4/2023 For the IC143 train, it allows me to get to the review page however states that it the journey is no longer available, this is also the case on the Bahn website and other times and dates. The EC360 train does not allow me to book seat reservations on any day, this is also the case on the Bahn website. Is anyone else having the same issues? Or am I attempting to book to early, I had no problems booking Berlin to Prague on the 26th of April.

Has someone here been to Auschwitz, in Poland? How was this experience? Was it expensive? What is the best option: train or airplane? In my Eurotrip I'm planning to go there, but I don't know anyone who has visited that city.

Has anyone ever used balkan flexipass? Balkan flexi pass is cheaper with global pass. Balkan flexi pass is cheap and I live in turkey. I'm thinking of using Balkan flexipass on my first trip.Resource for first timers: https://rail.cc/balkan-flexi-pass
