Hi folks,We've got 10 days to get from Barcelona to Paris with a global pass at end of April- beginning of May.We’re thinking of one of these two routes:Barcelona-Madrid-Lisbon-Porto-Vigo-Bilbao-Hendaye-Paris Barcelona-Valencia-Córdoba-Seville-Madrid-Bilbao-Hendaye-ParisWe’d really value your thoughts and options on choice of route, and any tips on what not to miss (or to skip)! Thanks in advance!

I bought a 3 month pass in the 50% sale 10/05/2022 and am just beginning to plan my amazing trip. What is the latest date to activate the pass? And what is the last date of travel after activation?Specifically, is it 3 months after the last date of activation?I just need to be clear so I don’t miss out.Thanks,Roy.

When I bought eurail pass, I forgot to buy ‘plus’. Therefore, I’m wondering whether I can purchase it though I bought eurail pass ?

Hi there community I would like to ask what is the best way to book train reserve seats1) Will mobile ticket code or qr code work when presenting it at the gate before entering the train for the following  Portugal, Spain, Switzerland France and Italy2) I see that train inspector may require me to present the ticket physically on the countries above what should I do to show that I am a passenger 3) what can I do if the train station in the database is not available to book what is the best way to get tickets there  Thanking you kindly 😊

My eldest child will turn 12 next year and they have a child global pass (along with me having an adult global pass). We had hoped to start our travel before they turn 12 but unfortunately no longer can. However, we will have a spare day in our itinerary and could activate/start their pass before they turn 12, sacrificing that spare day and still complete our itinerary in the remaining days and duration of the global pass. Would that be possible even though we do not actually travel on the start day before they turn 12? e.g. we do not add a journey to that day in the app? And, if so, could we do this for the child alone or would an adult pass also need to be started on the same day?

Hi All,Using Global pass,  I am unable  to book a reservation from KOEBENHAVN H (Denmark) to STOCKHOLM (SWEDEN) on Jan02, 2023.Can anyone give me an idea how I can do above mentioned seat reservation?

Hello, im planning a trip starting Tuesday and ending Friday (march 2023), but i get a constant message in the plan your interrail trip window, saying i need a “5 day travel pass”, but i’m only travelling 4 days.Do i really need a 5 day pass?Madrid to Bordeux - tuesdayBordeux to Paris - WednesdayParis to Brussels - ThursdayBrussels to Amsterdam - Friday Thanks for the help.Fernando.

The 15 day promotional pass gives me the option of 100% refund. Is Eurail offering a refund with these promotional passes?

I kept entering my passport ID and putting in valid dates but it seemed like the app didn’t want to accept the ID number - As it seemed to keep going back to the ID field and I was unable to see/click the submit/activate button. The issue I found was that it was just that the keyboard wouldn’t minimise. There was no issue with my data or the app. I couldn’t get rid of the keyboard in the way I do normally (e.g. I couldn’t swipe it down and there’s no way to minimise it using the keyboard itself). However if you click anywhere on the main page outside of the keyboard - It will go away. Then you can see and press the ‘activate’ button. Simple solution but it’s been driving me crazy and seems like some other iPhone users Apple forums have had some similar issues. I was due to travel soon and was having a panic that I wouldn’t be able to activate my pass in time - So thought I’d post here in case anyone else came across the same issue!

When looking for a train between Lund central and Copenhagen before the 10th of December you can take the Öresundståg without reservation but after the 10th of December that is no longer an option and you have to take a SJ high-speed train (for which I have to make a reservation, but I can't make a reservation through interrail, so I want to avoid it). I checked a local traffic app (Skånetraffiken), so I know the Öresundståg is still operational. So can I trust that the interrail pass works on the Öresundståg eventhough its not in the timetable or what is going on?

Hi guys, I've been reading in the forum that it is possible to exchange reservations in Italy and other countries if the reservation exceeds €10, but I can't find the platform to do it.Thanks in advance!

I only have National Visa (Type D Schengen Visa) from Germany. I don't have a residence permit. Which pass should I choose (Interrail or Eurorail)?

Whenever I look on the internet regarding travel between 2 cities,( Milan to Budapest, say ) a host of “low rent” options are listed but I never see eurail as a site I can visit. Why is that?

Hello all, My family and I would like to travel to Antwerp (Belgia) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands), our country of residence is Germany (we have German ID but with non-EU Passport). Our itinerary is as follows:1st journey: Leipzig (our hometown) - Antwerp 2nd journey: Antwerp - Amsterdam 3rd journey: Amsterdam - Antwerp 4th journey: Antwerp - LeipzigIn this case, can we buy the Benelux Pass or should we buy the Global 4-Day Pass? Also, can we buy the Interrail Pass or should we buy the Eurail Pass?Looking forward to your answer. Thanks!

Hello.I have something to ask.I am planning a trip through '4 days within 1 month pass'.When I go from point A to point B by train, if I stop at several points, I wonder if we can calculate it once.I will send my captured rail planner screen for accurate judgment.Do you judge the journey from Prague to Wien as "1 day"?Oh, and I'm wondering if I use train leaving late at night and arriving the next morning, also we judge that it's "1 day", right? Thanks for your kind replies.

The rail passes I have are electronic mobile pass versions, they show up under my Eurail account, but I’m not sure how to use them when it comes time to reserve/pay for seats on eurail.com.  Basically, I’ve got all my routes selected, and I’m ready to go to the checkout screen.  But it looks like I still need to pay $20/person plus an $8 service charge per train.  My assumption was that since I purchased the rail pass, I could reserve seats using the rail pass and not have to pay anything.  But nowhere during the checkout process am I asked to input my pass #’s.

Hola! Quiero reservar un viaje de Munich a Füssen ida y vuelta para enero, y no me aparece la estación Füssen. La app de Eurail no la reconoce. ¿Será que ese viaje no está incluido en Eurailpass? Es raro, porque es un tren regional. Gracias.

Hello!I am planning an interrail trip for next summer, but I am struggling to understand the inbound and outbound days. I am from Edinburgh, in Scotland, and in order to reach Amsterdam where I want to start the trip[ I need to reach London and get the Eurostar.  I want to get the Caledonian Sleeper train down from Edinburgh to London and get the Eurostar but will the pass cover both or just one of the journeys?

Can we use this pass from UK

Can you help me? I booked a train from Budapest to Prague by Eurail Pass. I couldn't get on because of the Austrian train strike. I booked another train, but I missed it. I'm going to take a plane with a one-day ticket, but there's no other train today. Can I refund this train ticket or change it to the next day? please.

I used my homeward and outward trip in homeland. So I need to buy a ticket now to the border, but train does not stop at the border. Do I need a ticket to the last station in homeland, to the first stop in Belgium or to the border station where the train does not stop?

Hi, I have an Interrail mobile pass for 7 days within one month.  The last activation date is 31 August 2022 but I am not able to start my first journey until 20 September 2022.  I then plan to complete all 7 days of travel by 30 September 2022.  Is this permitted? Or do I have to take my first journey on the date that I activate the pass (ie travel on 31 August 2022?).Any advice gratefully received.

I purchased a 2 month interrail pass on 11th May 2022 so I need to activate it no later than the 11th April 2023. My plan is to activate the pass on the 10th April 2023 and set a start date of 20th April 2023. My current understanding is that the 2 month duration will start on the 11th April (instead of the 20th April start date) and my last day of usage will be the 11th June 2023. Can someone confirm that my understanding is correct and it is possible to set a start date which occurs after the 11 months from purchase? Thanks.

I will be travelling from London to Brussels then Brussels to Paris. I planned to buy the Eurail Global Pass. May i know if seat reservation is required for these 2 trips?
