I bought an eurail pass, and I want to reserve a seat on the site.At the beginning of the reservation, the address and contact number were entered at the step of entering the order details. But even if I press the button to move on, it doesn't move on.I can't make a reservation. What should I do?

My pass runs our on 27th Nov 2027. Not activated yet. Can I book tickets for December and January before it expires? Other wise I guess I will have to get a refund?

Hi,I have a valid EURail Mobile Pass on the app. I have the following questions about using the discount benefit while in Switzerland:For the Luzern boat and Rigi Train 50% discount benefit, do I need to log it in the planner app and use up a travel day? If not, what page in the app do I need to show when purchasing the ticket? Similar to the first question, what do I need to show for the discount ticket to Jungfraujoch? Thanks!

I am working on my itinerary for my honeymoon and the last place we will be visiting in Italy before we go elsewhere is Venice. Our plans are to go to Salzburg, Austria after we leave Venice and schedule wise, we were thinking we would be leave Venice on a Saturday morning and take a train to Salzburg. My question is, do they have morning trains that go from Venice to Salzburg on Saturdays? This would be at the beginning of May this next year.

If I have created a new travel day and QR Code in the mobile pass with the first journey for that day, but I could not take the train, if I delete that journey, and add another for the same day, ¿Is QR code still valid for that travel day? Thanks

If you travel on a private railway in Switzerland using the Interrail pass to obtain a discount do you have to use up one of the days on your Interrail Pass to do so?

Bonjour.J'ai acheté un pass en mai 2022. Sur mon application Interrail il y écrit "Activate this pass by 11 Apr 2023. Cela signifie que je dois effectuer mon voyage avant cette date ? OU est-ce que je dois partir maximum le 11 avril 2023 ?Merci et bonne journée à tous

Hello, I recently bought and activated a pass but it doesn't show as a QR code, just gives text details. Secondly, I created a trip and reserved seats but I can't seem to link the trip to my pass. When I click on my pass, it states no trips scheduled yet. When I  click on my trips, it clearly shows the itinerary. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  Thanks 🙂

Hi All,I’ve been wanting to reserve a seat on the overnight train between Prague and Budapest on the 6th of Jan. On the cd.cz website, all trains are available to purchase/reserve except the overnight train departing at 10.43. This train also doesn’t seem to be showing up on any other websites e.g. raileurope.  I was just wondering if anyone knew how to reserve this train or why I am unable to yet?

I know there is a direct euro city connection but neither the interrail website nor the app will show it.  I know I need a reservation for part of the journey but first I need the journey to exist ;-/ Also why do DB not allow first class pass holder in their lounges :-(

According to Bulgarian train website currently the schedule is set till 10.12. We are planning to take the train on the 23 at night and now are wondering if trains are still going in winter? Any one know about the winter schedule of the trains? Also, is it possible that Nighttrains from Buccharest to Vienna can only be booked one months in advance? I noticed that after that tickets are available till the 8th of december, but are not available after.

I have a 15day/2month Global Pass and I am traveling from Munich to Innsbruck. On the planner it is saying "Conditions Apply."Question... 1) What does this mean, 2) Is it something I need to worry about on this particular trip since I have a 15day/2month Global Pass 3) and if it is something to worry about it, how I avoid or correct this?Thank you in advance

Can I use CD lounge in Prague hbf with 2nd class tickets ?

English (german below/Deutsch unten)I understand that you have 2 travel days to get out of country and to get back into your country (of residence). My Plan is to use IC40600 from Karlsruhe to Hamburg and then moving from Hamburg to Kobenhaven. The Train departs at 23.06 and apparently there for those 54 minutes are my travelday inside my country of residence. (and german trains are never punctual). Is it actually necessary that I book a later train? Totaler quatsch.

I plan on purchasing a 4 train ride in 1 month pass. I only need to travel from Frankfurt- strasbourg and then strasbourg-paris there will be a short 6 minute transfer in between so I’m not sure if that would have to include 1 of my 4 train ride passes or if it’s included with my original ticket from the start of first train ride any help or input is appreciated

I want to know if it is possible to activate the trains seperatly? Is it a travel day for each train if I activate them?

Hi to all of you! Some context first: I’m Sam, and currently spending an Erasmus semester abroad in the UK, my country of residence/home country is Germany though. I flew to the UK to get here, but since this was stressful and is also quite expensive (and damaging to the environment as well as a hassle to bring all my luggage with me), I’ve been looking into alternatives to get home, which is why I’m strongly considering Interrail. But, I’ve ran into problem/question I haven’t been able to truly answer. As I’m from Germany, but am currently in the UK, I’m a little confused about the “country of residence”. To outline my problem/questions:I plan on going back to Germany shortly before Christmas I then plan to return to the UK in early January Before I travel back to Germany at the end of January (for which I plan to travel to the border, or e.g., Amsterdam and then get a separate ticket back home to Germany)My Questions are:As I am a German citizen, is my country of residence Germany? Does

I am planning to travel form Tromso to Kiruna by taking bus and train on 14 Jan 2023. I have downloaded the Troms Billett app but can’t buy bus ticket on that date. 1. How many day in advance to buy bus ticket from Tromso to Narvik in the app?Do you have any suggestion or alternate route to travel form Tromso to Kiruna?Thank you so much

I see that only the route to Sicily is available, due to be reserved via Interrail. We are looking to make a reservation from Milano to Bari. When using Italiarail as advised in another post, you only seem to be able to book normal seats, but not beds. Now, without going to Italy, how can I make a reservation for a bed in night train in Italy?

We are about to embark on our first trip across Europe using rail rather than flying and am struggling a bit with this notion of seat reservations vs a booking. One specific question I would like guidance on from the community is this. I have a Eurail pass and have booked two first class tickets from Munich to Prague on November 23rd on RE357 aka ALX357. Trying to get a seat reservation has been frustrating. I have checked the CD Bahn.DE and Eurail sites and get various forms of “the train is temporarily unavailable for reservations”. Without a seat reservation am I guaranteed a seat but not a specific assignment or could we show up and not be able to board because it is fully booked. It never states fully booked so I’m trying to decide do I show up and hope I get a seat or do I give up and book another train. This is a direct train so it is far more convenient and the other options have 1 or more quite tight connections <10 minutes. Being new to this and having luggage for two of u

Hi,When can I generate a ticket?I have already connected trips to my pass but cannot generate a ticket. Are we able only generate tickets on the actual travel date itself? My pass is valid November 13 but I have already scheduled my trips there. But when I try to generate a ticket I get this message.Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.

How can I go to paris from Zurich and paris to Zurich by speed train in the same day?

hello, I have a question, my 28th birthday is on march 21st (actually i'm 27) but i will use some trains before and after that date, could i buy a ticket for 12-27 years old? could i have some problem for after 21 st march trains? Thanks for your help !

Hi everyone! I live in Lyon. If I want to get the eurostar from Paris, is my journey to Paris included as my 'outbound journey', or would my outbound journey be my eurostar? Basically, are both my journey to Paris and my eurostar allowed on the ticket? (it would be the same coming back arriving in Paris on the eurostar and then going back to Lyon). Thanks so much in advance, I’m so confused!!

I am looking to take a quick business trip to Munich preferring to travel by train than flying however the viability of this is determined by Eurostar seat availabiliy.  how can I check this before i commit to buying a 3 day pass?
