Solved

Hi,  I have made my plan and only need to travel on 3 dates.  It looks like the shortest pass is 4 days.  Can I just buy a train ride from one place to another OR do I need the pass and then reservations?  TIA!

I want to use my interrail pass to cover the local train that takes us to St Pancras International for the Eurostar. I do not need to reserve a seat. How do I add that to my pass? Thanks

Thankfully, I have received a permission for my complimentary travel companion pass. However, I am having trouble locating the specific Pass for a traveler with reduced mobility on Eurail website. Please guide me on how to purchase a 10-day Flexi Germany Pass for a passenger with reduced mobility?"

I would like to ask if I can travel from Greece to some Balkan countries using the 7 days pass and then fly for example from Croatia to Greece by airplane (considering paying my flight on my own)

hey so i cant find any train tickets from sofia to istanbul on this website.. am i searching for the wrong train stations? because surely theres trains right? can anyone help me out? please thank you.

Hi - I booked two youth passes accidentally rather than two children passes. Kids are 5 and 8. I don’t care too much about the money but is this going to be an issue when traveling? Not sure how strict ticket inspectors will be on their ages.  Thanks!

I am travelling around Spain at Easter and am finding it very hard to reserve the seats I need on-line.  I am thinking of going to a train station in Spain and buying them there - is this risky?  I am thinking of Santander late afternoon on a Sunday - would the station be open?  Or in Granada on 30th or 31st March.  Any advuce?

Bonjour,Je cherche à planifier un voyage sur la carte de planification, mais je ne sais pas comment conserver (enregistrer) le planning: je me retrouve toujours sans l’avoir conservé. Comment faire.Merci d’avance pour vos réponses

I planned and saved the start of a trip, but I can't find it. What should I do?Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi, I want to do an Interrail reservation on the sleeper (EN414) from Ljubljana to Stuttgart in mid/late March, but most dates say “Currently not reservable” (it’s the same with or without an Interrail pass). However, it *is* possible to get a reservation on the same train starting from Zagreb!!Do Austrian Railways prioritise passengers doing the ‘whole trip’ from Zagreb to Stuttgart, before releasing seats/berths from intermediate stations, maybe just a few days before? Seems crazy when the price is the same!! If I book a reservation departing from Zagreb, but only board at Ljubljana, will my reservation be invalid and get thrown off the train? Thanks for any assistance.

Hi, I am travelling from Münich to Bologna 18th july. Due to construction work, there are no trains between Innbruck and Brennero, but busses. In the time table it looks like a lokal train though? And I can only reserve seats to Brenner st. And not all the way to Bologna. Any experience with those trains? Can 5 people travel in them in peak season with no seat reservations? And how does the train busses works with seating? Any suggestion for another route going to Bari? /Karina

I am trying to reserve a seat on ICE147 on 19th April. Eurail has train leaving Amsterdam Central at 12pm but no seat reservation. I have checked DB reservations and they don’t have ICE147 running from amsterdam only Utrecht Central

I'm planning a trip to France, and haven't bought a One Country Pass yet.I have added many places on different calendar days to the Trip planner, however it says I only need a 4-day pass. I see the number of days increasing but sometimes it doesn't.  Am I missing something about the rules of what counts as a day, or is the Trip planner tripping? I understand it says “Passes from USD $xxx,” but if it shows 4 travel days, that means a 4-day pass is valid, correct? 1 13/4 paris - str 2 14/4 str - colmar   14/4 colmar - str 3 15/4 str - paris   15/4 paris - tours 4 16/04  tours - Amboise   16/04 Amboise - tours 5 17/04 Tours - Chenoceaux   17/04 Chenoceaux - Tours 6 18/4 tours - paris

HiLooking at seat reservations from Bologna to Salzburg ( via Innsbruck) for June 17th. The Raileurope site says “Seat reservation has to be done at station”. It’s the 9:52 am  Railjet #86. Not sure what this means - that I have to wait until I get to Bologna on that day and hope there are seats? Any insights welcome. Jon

Using interrail trying to book seats it's all quoted in us dollars instead of euros. Any advice please

Has anyone come across an issue with the DB app when switching credit card when purchasing a ticket or seat reservation? Every time I try to purchase a seat reservation with a different credit card from the one I usually use, the app does not allow me to complte the payment, even though the app offers you the option to switch cards! Really annoying.

My wife and I have first class Interrail passes and we shall shortly be purchasing seat reservations for the journeys from Torino Porta Susa to Roma Termini and Roma Termini to Milano Porta Garibaldi.    I was very surprised when I went onto the Rail Europe site just now that as well as offering two reserved seats at £23.60, there was also the option to purchase seats in the “Business suite” for £41.80.   When I look on the Trenitalia website I see, other than Standard and Business class, there is only  “Executive” class mentioned.  So, am I right in assuming that for, effectively an extra £9 each my wife and I could get a couple of executive class seats?    And does this give us access to the Executive Lounges at stations?  I am questioning this because I have looked at previous responses on this forum and there it was said that a First class Interrail pass was gave you access to Business class but not Executive class.

I lost my phone so I transferred my pass to my friends phone in the mean time. When I get my new phone how can I transfer my pass to my phone after already doing one transfer. Online it says I can only transfer it once without customer support but I do not know who to contact to help with that.

@Camilo.I just learnt that the valid code for getting the Interrail/Eurail discount at Stena Line is EURAIL2023 On the benefit page the old and invalid code is shown. Can you please make sure that the benefit page is updated with the correct code ASAP?

Starting to plan a journey I have put in the wrong destination and cannot delete it - what can I do?  I haven’t purchased tickets but want to start again with my pass

I just login to the site and it says that I created a trip yesterday with only traveller being myself. When I tried to delete it it says I need to delete the Travellers first. But when I go to edit Travellers it says I can't edit the travellers nor delte them. How can I delete this trip? I won't be going on a trip till this June with my friend.

On 1st February, my partner and I managed to book the once-a-day Renfe AVE Internacional from Narbonne to Madrid without any issues on the Interrail website (date of travel 1st May 2026, Interrail 1st class pass). We are now trying to book the return leg of our journey, Madrid to Narbonne on 10th May 2026, but we are unable to. We get this message: “No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable.”If I search for the train we already booked (1st May) the same message appears. What happened? Why were we able to book the first leg of our journey but now that’s no longer possible? What can we do?To note - the 10th May trains are available on Renfe’s website, just not (any longer?) on Interrail

Does anybody know how you can delete a cancelled journey in the DB app? I successfully cancelled a journey and was refunded promptly by DB. However, although it is easy to delete a journey when it has been completed, it does not seem possible to delete a journey you never started in the first place! Any ideas?

Is anyone else getting a syteem error when hitting the Go to seat reservation on the Deutsche Bahn app? It seems I can book seat reservation via Eurail, but then that would cost me 16 euros for a two-leg journey (i.e. 2 trains) instead of 6.90 euros for the same journey using the DB app! [10-2-2026]
