Is there a direct train from París to Berlín please ? I have reserved a place for a direct train from Berlin to Paris on 6th May but neither interrail, Deutsch Bahn or SNCF show such a train on their websites. I did catch a Paris to Berlin train direct a year ago.

the video is not helpful, I guess I need someone to call me in Calif USA and talk me through how to add trains without seat requirements.

This is my first time going to Europe and using the trains.  I’m slowly figuring it out, but would like some advice in using my pass effectively.I'll be in Europe for a month from May to June and purchased the 7 travel days in 1 month pass. At the moment, I’m planning the first two weeks of my trip.  I’m starting in Paris and would be there for seven nights.  While there, I am considering taking day trips into Chartres and Giverny.  For short trips in the same country, would it be more cost effective to buy individual return tickets ?  And should I book now?  I plan to use my pass to cross over to Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands.  I’ve already used the pass to book seat reservations for going from Paris to Milan and from Milan to Venice.  From Venice, I’ll like to go to Verona.  I’ve noticed that there is an option to reserve seats and no seat reservations required.  At the time of the year I am in Italy, should I risk no seat reservations for flexibility and save some money or wou

Hello, I requested a refund for my Eurail Pass and received a confirmation email stating that the refund has been processed. However, I have not received the refunded amount yet. Could you please check the status of my refund? Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, I’m trying to book tickets to travel to Marseille on May 11th for university fieldwork. I want to book seats as soon as possible, but my passport expires in July. This means I’ll need a new passport in order to travel in the EU, and the passport will take several weeks to arrive. Am I able to put in my current passport number on the booking, and the change it once I have had my new one issued? Thanks

Hey dear fellow travellers,I’m planning to travel to a conferece in Salamanca in june. Since travelling in one day from Hamburg to Salamanca seems impossible, I thought about going via Paris and spending a night there. But maybe some of you have other suggestions for a good route? What’s important is that I can make it in two days and maybe still have some time in the city I’m spending the night to get an impression. Thanks so much for your ideas!CheersNadia

I want to buy a seat selection for the Bernina express. Do I just go onto ‘tickets.rhb.ch’ and pay for the seat selection of the panoramic view train. Its 40 CHF each person (which I’m happy to pay) but is that wheat I do in order to acquire the seat selection? When I click to buy the ticket I add that I have a global pass, but I just wanted to know if I need to do anything else?

Hi All, I bought a Nice to Florence journey, however because I only had to buy reservations for two parts of the trip, the 3rd part is now not showing up on my itinerary? How do I reserve seats that I don't have to pay for? Thank you!

Does someone have information why there is no Liegewagen available for the night train from Zurich to Prague? Usually there is, even for spontaneous booking but now I couldn’t find any in the next couple of weeks. They only offer the more expensive sleeping beds (~200 for reservation only). ThanksHanna

For the train from Lyon to Barcelona on the 26th of April the passholder reservations are unavailable on interrail, but reservations are available on happyrail.com for this journey. On happyrail.com it is not specified as being for interrail passholders. If I book a reservation directly via happyrail, will my pass be valid?

I’ll be travelling to Italy and Austria in a few weeks for a skiing trip. I’m flying in and out of Munich and taking trains to the towns and resorts where I plan to ski. Anyone have any tips for bringing skis with me or how to find the info I need?It sounds like each rail company has it’s own rules, but I’m struggling to find the companies names through the Eurail trip planner so I can research it. I’d like to bring my own skis but if the rules are too restrictive then I can rent at each of my stops instead.

I just got an email claiming to be from Eurail.  I can’t even verify it it’s legitimate and when I email Eurail they say I will get a response in one week.  Have other people received this message?  I am very concerned! Two young people want to travel from Belgium to Malmö as fast as possible. We want to buy an interrail pass and want to take the SJ of Snalltaget from Hamburg to Malmö on the 17th or 18th of July. The nighttrain is not offering rides in that week. The daytrain should be riding from May. Is it sure that this train will be operating at these dates? Where can I find more information about that? Are there other and faster ways to travel from Belgium to Sweden?

Hi, we want to travel from Paris (in our country of residence) to Stockholm in one day and night, via Brussels, Koln and Hamburg where we will pick up the night train arriving in Stockholm on the morning following our departure from Paris. Does this whole journey count as our outbound journey and therefore NOT count as a travel day? Or is the Paris to Brussels train our outbound journey with the rest of the trains on that day being on travel day 1?I have planned a round trip to the arctic circle thinking it would take 6 travel days but the planner is recommending a 4 day pass which is only possible if the whole journey to Stockholm, and the reverse on the way back, are not counted as travel days.Could anyone clarify this for me please? Thanks in advance

Hi, This will be our 1st time using interrail and we are very nervous, I’m a disabled traveller and also easily confussed!. I was trying to book a reservation using our Eurail Global Flexi First Class passes. And here is what I tried in sequence:On the SBB app, it shows the route and the train I want, but the booking fails when I select “Reservation only”. Called SBB call center and the agent said that the app/website doesn’t support purchasing “reservation only”. She can help me with that. After the laborious process of giving our names, DOB, credit card details, with seat selection that she was able to, the payment failed twice - both for Visa and Amex cards. The agent said that she has seen this issue with “non-European credit cards”. So I went back to the excellent “Seat 61” website and the advice there was to use OBB or Interrail. Tried Interrail, but here it asks for the “place and country of birth”. I just don’t understand the relevance of such info and the price was Euro 13 per passenger plus a service fee. And no way to select specific seats (like window seats facing each other). Tried the OBB app

I want to travel from London to Florence on 31st July 2026 and to return to London on the 8th August 2026. Is this something I can do using a pass or do I need to get separate tickets for different legs? It is very difficult from what I have seen to plan this trip using any service available in the UK. I am hoping this is due to my naivety as I would like to use rail for European travel if its easy.
