Good morning, i have few questionsI have to go from Turin to Bath by train from 30 October to 6 November, but the single tickets cost a lot and I saw that the global pass even just for a return trip could be worthwhile.I would leave from Turin to Paris (maybe on the 30th there are no trains so I would go by Flixbus with extra cost). from paris to london i have the eurostar. it is included at NO additional cost right? (i mean if i have to pay something for booking the seat is fine, i wanna know if i have to add the full ticket price, something like 300€ for a/r, o i don’t have to pay this eurostar return ticket but just pay smtg for seat reservation)then the train from london to bath is included even if England is not in european union?same for the return by train from Paris to Turin. all this without additional costs (excluding any one way flixbus) with a global pass?

I’m a total novice to Interrail and will be using the mobile pass. What is the sequence I should follow to book and use Eurostar as the start of our travel from the UK? Should I have “My Trip” planned already on the mobile app? What then? All the online explanations sound obvious but not if you’ve never used them!

Does anyone know how I can find out when French trains are on strike. TGV and sncf. Specifically next week.

Good morning beautiful community,I have never bought Interrail before so I am a little bit unsure about one specific condition: traveling within home country. Specifically I live ( and also work) in Berlin, where I am OFFICIALLY REGISTERED. However my home country is Italy and on my ID card my home address is the one of my home town ( this is because in Italy you can change your home address for the foreign one only if you join the register of Italians living abroad). I was wondering if I can travel from Germany ( country of actual residence , where I m officially registered) to Italy ( home country , where I am residence for the Italian government as my Italian address is on my ID.). I would have liked to use Interrail for the following route: Berlin-Milan Milan-Calabria, then back, maybe through another city. I am talking about the GLOBAL PASS thank you very much!

So I arrived in Oslo at 18:00 today and wanted to reserve a seat to trondheim. there was no customer service or tourist workers anywhere. So I tried the machines I found my train 22:50 but couldn't reserve a seat with the machine. So I figured I'd just jump on and plead my case. Weird thing is the train appears to have never existed. It was 100% there when I check the machine. It's on the interail app and it's online for the same time tomorrow a Sunday so I doubt it wouldn't be running Saturday. But it wasn't on the boards, no info about it or the Bergen train 23:09. It's not a rail replacement or a connection through metro I've checked. Was it just cancelled without explanation? Am i dumb? Is the universe just trying to spite me? Regardless there's no night trains running. Guess it's the airport floor as a mattress tonight .

Struggling to book a 2 bed sleeper on Milan to Palermo train on 19th Feb.I have interrail pass along with my wife but cannot seem to reserve 2 bed sleeper at local Italian station only a couchette for 4 people which we don't want. Can see that 2 bed sleeper are available on 19th when I make ticket enquiry but cannot get these ticket reservation at station .Can you advise me if I can book 2 bed berth via you and if so how or how to resolve this at the Italian station.Thank you in anticipation,Frank Teague

Hi, anyone knows HOW we can buy the Family Child specials from Venice to Munich on Trenitalia https://www.trenitalia.com/en/offers/family_child.htmlnot sure if the price indicated is for the whole family?it just says purchase from ticketing office or authorized travel agencies, but is there a way i can buy these tickets online?

Two of us are traveling on an interrail global mobile pass. We left Scotland on the 11.40 Caledonia sleeper, but one pass prompted a change of start date for this journey. So that person used both out and inbound home country travel, and cannot get back to London from Brussels in a fortnight. Both people have seat reservations. Can anyone advise on how to deal with this?

Hi, I’ve booked a train from Ventimiglia to Rome on Sunday September 18. I saw this information on the Italian railway app (Trenìt) and was wondering if it affects me at all?

Are dogs allowed on Eurail through Greece? I have a 35# dog.Thank you.

Hello! I will be traveling with my 10 year old daughter this December from Stockholm-Oslo-Gothenburg-Copenhagen-Stockholm-Helsinki-Kiruna-Ostersund-Stockholm. We are traveling by train with the exception of the Tallink ferry from Stockholm-Helsinki and a bus from Pello to Kiruna. It has been a long time since I have Eurailed so naturally I have a few questions: What train routes on my itinerary require advanced reservations? Do they have baggage storage in the train terminals? Does the Scandinavian Eurail Pass cover all of these train routes? Are there any additional fees? Do you have any must stay hotel recommendations for Oslo, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and Helsinki? Also looking for must eat restaurant recommendations, especially in Copenhagen as we will be spending Christmas Eve there.Thank you in advance for your help in making our trip come alive!

Eurail passes allow free travel on S-Bahn in Zurich, S-Bahn in Germany and S-Bahn in Vienna. Do these count as a "travel day" under the pass or are they in addition to the "travel days" registered on the pass?

There are only 17 digits allowed for my GF’s last name. Her last name is 18 digits.  Is this a problem when Aural checks the mobile pass?

I have some questions about the limitations of the use of German rail pass.I understand tourist can use this pass including some designated neighborhood countries like Austria, Belgium and so forth. But I wonder whether I can cross the border from anywhere in Germany. If not,  can't I use the pass from only particular stations  in Germany？And can I use the pass only from Germany when I cross the border ? Like from Paris to Frankfurt am Main is not included? My plannning I am worried about is as follows ;Paris → Frankfurt am Main Dresden→PrahaHallstatt→MünchenKöln→AmsterdamAre these cases like above included in German Rail Pass?If someone knows, please let me know.

HelloI am trying to book seats on Eurostar on Oct 29 from London to Paris. I see a message saying most seats are sold out for pass holders and that people should use ferry as an alternative. But when I click on buy seats, it is allowing to pay for the seats. What does this mean? Can I still purchase seats or I should not book? Pls suggestThanksSatbeer

Hi,On Sunday Sept 18 I have booked a train from Nice to Rome. It’s a TER from 5:36 am from Nice to Ventimiglia. However, my train from Ventimiglia to Rome is 8 hours direct. I only have 10 minutes to transfer from the TER or IC train. I’m wondering if anyones knows how big the Ventimiglia station is? I don’t want to miss the train and I have bought seat reservations and it’s the only direct one that day. Thank you in advance!!

I am trying to book a nightjet on either the 1st Oct or 2nd Oct. We’re holding Eurail passes 1st class and wanting to book the 2person sleeper. Oebb shows availability on the 2nd for the route via Cologne, but then after keying in payment says no seats anymore. The only option I have now found is 1st Oct to Paris Est and then to take the Thalys to Bruxelles Midi(which by the way is showing no 1st class reservations on the 2nd Oct - but they sell 1st seats outright??)Does anyone have a better option for us to look at for a sleeper? (My preference would be to travel on the 2nd, arriving on the 3rd October).

There exists a connection Lille (d11.26)-Massy TGV(a13.34 d14.18)- Dax (a17.30)Do you have to pay €10+€10 (or €20+€20) or only €10 (or €20) for the reservation?

Hi everyone please help. I bought Eurail seat reservations from offenburg to Paris. When I got to offenburg I asked a conductor if the train was going to Strasbourgh where I would catch a connecting train to Paris. They said yes. I’m now on the train, reliving it’s not going to Strasbourg but to Karlsruhe HBF. I’m so upset, I had paid for seat resos already too. What are my options?  the trains on the app say I cannot buy seat reservations. I’m assuming this is my fault and I’ll have to repurchase seat reservations again but I don’t know what to do

Hi all, My itinerary starts in Zagreb and goes to Budapest, Prague, Cologne, and back to London. I am unsure if I should put Zagreb first or how to start my reservation. Itinerary:Zagreb to Budapest: Sept 24 Budapest to Prague: Sept 26 Prague to Cologne: Sept 28 Cologne to London: Sept 30If someone can tell me how to format my itinerary properly, this would be very helpful. Thank you!

I read somewhere in this forum (but cannot find it now) that in certain German ICE trains it happens that Interrail pass holders without seat reservations are asked to disembark for security when there are too many passengers standing in the corridors of the full train.Does this happen regularly? And if I desperately need to be on a specific ICE that I can see in advance is fully booked, does it help if I buy a regular ticket for that trip valid that day, so that I am not any more considered an Interrail pass holder, even though I still do not have a seat reservation on that train? In other words, when I do not have a seat reservation on an ICE that is full of standing passengers, do I have better chances of not being disembarked if I hold a regular ticket, than with an Interrail pass?
