Solved

Hello,I have paid on the 5th of august reservation tickets from Barcelona to Lyon, departure 29th at 9h13. The tickets are on paper and not online. The payment is already from my account number, but I still have not received tickets. I also haven’t received an e-mail to confirm the booking, and it can not be found in my reservations on my interrail account. I want to contact interrail to receive conformation of the booking. And I want to change the address, because I am already traveling.    Who knows how I can contact interrail? Or other things I can do?Greetings,Kristoff

Hi there,I am trying to book a ticket for the superfast ferrie from Bari to Corfu. In order to get the discount I have to select the adult category 26-59, but I am only 20. When I select the young adults category I am not able to select the interrail pass by discounts. Does anybody know why? Or had the same problem? Should I just book the ticket under the adult category? I am just worried that I will have trouble when I board the ferrie because obviously my birthday date will be incorrect. I would be really grateful for some answers!Thank you, have a good Sunday

Hi everybody, I have made seat reservations mid august for my train ride 25th of September. I have paid but i can not find the seat reservations online and i haven't received a paper ticket at my home as well. Can anyone help me out what to do since I can not contact interrail self. Thanks for your help.  Kind regards,  Stephan

We are part way through our trip and currently in Vienna. We want to spend a day in Budapest 13/9. The app indicated that we would need to reserve seats but when I go through the link to reserve it says that no reservation is needed? Should we just turn up without reservations? Thanks

Hello! My partner recently purchased a eurail travel pass through Klook. She purchased a pass for x2 adults (herself and me).Klook send a voucher with both of our details and passcodes. She download app and created a trip. She had no issue adding a traveller with her pass details but when we try to add another traveller with my details it say the details do not match..We made sure we picked the mobile tickets but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Hi there,I’m UK resident needing clarification on Eurorail or Interail global pass? There seems to be conflicting infomation on this and I need to be 100% certain on which one to purchase. Thanks in advance!

NEWBIE.I have read that the Railplanner app may not be up to date so i wondered if I get a reservation through Interrail or OBB etc  could I be 100% certain that the times on the reservation are correct.

I am currently travelling in Italy. My pass has been working fine up till now (I've been travelling for 2 weeks) As of today, when I try to display the QR code of the pass it will not open. Can anyone help?

My greatest fear in preparing for my 2 month Interrail journey with my wife is the loss of my phone which has both our passes on it.Suppose my phone is lost but I have 2 reservations for a train sent to me by email which I have forwarded to my wife and which we can show the conductor BUT I have NO PASSES/PHONE.Is there anything I could have saved by email ( forwarded to my wife) or screenshot (also forwarded to my wife) which would be accepted by the conductor? Finally how do I contact Interrail to get our passes transferred to my wifes phone. Can I ring them or twitter or whatsapp or email? Many thanks.

Hi everyone, My boyfriend and I are from Belgium and we bought a global pass to do two trips (4 travel days) in one month. We already went to Italy and back. We had to use our inbound and outbound trips because the app recognized it like that. Tomorrow we want to leave for France with a TGV and we already made the reservations. We don’t have an outbound/inbound journey left and I want to buy a ticket separately, but does this mean that I have to buy another ticket for the TGV until Paris? Because then we have to make an extra reservation on the train and that is quite expensive. Is there anyone with the same experience? Thanks a lot for your help!

Newbie. Not used mobile pass yet.I have read Interrail APP train time is not always correct/uptodate.If I plan a trip say paris to berlin and then on day of trip i convert the trip to a journey (i’m not sure exactly how this is done but it seems i just hit a button on the trip to convert it??)  what happens if the interrail app has the train time wrong. How do i put in the correct time/train if the interrail app has NOT got those details. Many thanks for your patience.

-I have a Interrail One Country Pass Germany.-I am both resident in, and official citizen of The Netherlands.I want to plan a trip from Hengelo (NL) To Berlin (GE) on September 14th. But when I try to make a ticket with the app’s QR slider button, it says “Your pass isn’t valid in some of these countries”How can I solve this issue? I’ve read you should be able to travel in your home country. My ID number which i entered in the app is from The Netherlands. The only clue I have is that the ID number is blank on the Order overview of the website. I haven’t found an option to add this, but my ID number DOES show up in the mobile app when i go to my pass details. Also, I logged in on the website with my Google account on which I bought the pass. I couldn’t log in with google at community.eurail.com so im here with my Facebook account. Might be relevant. No ID number mentioned on website

Hello, no trains come up when i search the schedule for travel from Madrid to Barcelona on December 31, 2022.  are trains running new years eve?  if yes, when will the schedule be posted?  thank you for your help.

Hi all,I am going to Italy for the first time in my life and I want to take train from Rome to Milan on the morning of 8 Oct. I have checked on thetrainline.com and I saw from the government website (http://scioperi.mit.gov.it/mit2/public/scioperi)There is a locale strike on 7 Oct 21.01 to 8 Oct 21.00 but it seems that I can still make reservation under Eurail.Does anyone know how would it affect the train schedule from Rome to Milan? Or it is meaning that train will not arrive Milan on 8 Oct? Thanks so much in advance as I really have not much idea about Italy’s transport system.

If travelling as a couple is it easier to have both mobile passes on 1 phone or would you advise 1 on each?  I know it's not possible to have them both on 2 phones as back up unfortunately.  What problems have other couples travelling together encountered? Any advice gratefully accepted.

I won't be traveling for 18 days, my 22 day global pass is from valid  27 Sep to 18 Oct. Today is 10 September.   I was practicing entering trips in railplanner cause i was not able to generate qr code.  finally figured it out and to confirm I knew, put in one more trip and got “no travel days left” notification.  How do I fix this?

Hi,I bought two months continuous interrail global pass and I have several questions. I read all the guides I guess, but something is still not so clear for me. Outbound journey is the journey from the place I live to the border and is the whole journey supposed to be outbound? When I change a train and to the border of Austria goes train from Brno and to Brno I get from Prostejov, so it is one journey in my domestic country. Is there any additional fee for trains high level like ICE, IC, EC in Switzerland, Germany or Austria? On Ceske drahy website, there was that information, that for example for railjet in Austria, I have to pay something extra. But in interrail app there is not any information like that. And when there is an additional fee, then it is so confusing, because I cannot find out the amount of the fee. I ask only because of the information on Ceske drahy website. Otherwise I checked the railplanner guide for Switzerland and there is that also Panoramatic trains like Bern

If I plan a trip today (24 July), which start on 5 August. Does my pass activate today? Or on 5 august?

Dear people of Interrail,I’m travelling today with my 4-days card from the Netherlands, but my actual start date was yesterday. Unfortunately, there were train strikes that day, so I decided to travel today instead. But now I see that my first travel day (of yesterday) is expired. Is it possible that I can still travel 4 days, instead of 3 days now? Thanks already.

I am due to travel outbound from UK to Brussels via Eurostar on 13 August, and have heard the train to London will not be running due to strikes. I believe I can only use my interrail pass for connecting journeys in my home country on the day that I catch the Eurostar. The cheapest we can travel to London the night before will cost us (family of 5) £253 plus accommodation. Is there any way to cover this, through interrail, the striking rail company or travel insurance? We don’t have reservations for the connecting journey as they are not required.

Hello,I know you cannot return a ticket that has been already started . However, I got sick on the trip and can not continue it. I have a 2 month global pass with continuous travel days. The ticket would be valid until 22.09.2022. Would it still be possible to get some of the money back with a medical certificate? Because the ticket was not cheap and my illness prevents me from traveling further. It would be a real pity for the money.Best regardsCarlotta Piest

How can we purchase a seat reservation for the IC928 from Budapest to Ljubljana on the 27th August at 20:29 o‘clock?? Cannot do it online. Is it possible to purchase a ticket at a ticket office in Budapest? Any experiences?  The MÁV train website offers me one 21€ ticket for the train with a seat reservation included for 1€. How can I only buy the 1€ seat reservation ticket without having to buy the full ticket as I am a global Interrail pass holder?

Hi - I am trying to book nightjet from Wien - Florence. It is not allowing me on the OBB site. Saying that only availability is 12th Sept and still then I can only reserve from the Venezia Mestre - Florence part of the journey. I have seen the really helpful info on how to book with OBB and hoping someone can offer me a solution please? :)

Hello! My interrail app gives me strange routes and with insane travel times. On the Deutsche Bahn app everything looks fine. Is this a bug? Or is the DB better or les informed? I don't have any filters on. But now I can't add the right Journey to my pass.

Hi there, setting off tomorrow. Just want to double check that for trains where no reservation is required, do you have to get on the exact train that you have added to the pass or any train on that route (in case of delays, missing a connection, etc.) Thanks!
