Hey guys,I’ve been a lurker since I bought my 2 month global pass but it seems like it will fail on the 5th day.Our ticket were supposed to arrive two weeks ago with PostNL but unfortunately the postman marked the parcel as refused without trying to deliver it or ring our bell or give the neighbors or give it to the post office . The parcel is now it’s on its way back to interrail. I tried to contact interrail via email and chat support but they’re not answering. I talked with PostNL but they apparently don’t have any control over it and only the sender can resend it. I talked with SNCF but the woman said she can’t book me another ticket because it’s booked out. We are leaving Germany in 3 days. Marseille is our second stop after Paris. Does anybody know what other options there are? We have reservation but we don’t have the paper ticket. Can we get a copy ticket in Paris office? Do you think interrail will ever answer to us? Even if they do will it every arrive on time? Do you thinks

HI,We have several questions regarding our Christmas trip. It is our first time taking Eurrail/Interrail.We live in Mannheim, Germany, planning to travel to friends near London in Christmas. We are a family of 5 (3 kids age - 8, 10 & 12 years old). Our trip is a total of 10 days and we plan to visit Manchester for 2 days. I imagine we will need to buy a 4 days tickets (German To & from London, London to & from Manchester). I saw that there is a ‘One Country Pass’ 4 days pass that is 619€.Is it the correct type of tickets we should get?The itinerary schedule I saw on the web is: Mannheim Main train station (hbf) to Paris, then London. Since I stopped Paris for transit, is it still considered ‘One Country’? If I purchase this ‘One country 4 days tickets’, that means I dont have to buy any other tickets correct? except booking the seats from Paris to London On our return trip, I saw that it is London to Brussel, Belgium to Mannheim, Germany. Again, no extra tickets need to be b

Hi all, my husband and I are planning to take the train from Venice to Milan, with one folded bike in a case. Can we take the fast train with the bike, or will we have to take a regular one? Thanks!Wendy

Hello,I am fully aware that a Global Pass is only valid in countries other than my own (except those two days). However, České dráhy (Czech national railway operator) claim on the Interrail page of their site that “During the ticket’s term of validity, it is possible to return to the Czech Republic and to use the same ticket to travel out again, without any formalities.” - https://www.cd.cz/en/typy-jizdenek/mezinarodni-jizdenky/-28278/That confuses me quite a lot because there’s been this https://community.eurail.com/eurail-interrail-passes-41/interrail-global-pass-with-bahncard-100-2646 overwhelming discussion that I can NOT arrive and depart more times BUT that Interrail can be combined with a network-wide ticket. I have no problem with buying ČD’s summer ticket to cover the Czech republic as it’s remarkably cheap, but I’m just confused whether the statement above is true or whether the truth is somewhere in between.Thank you so much :)Daniel

Hi!I am a South African citizen (living in SA), currently in England, however I left my SA passport at my brothers house elsewhere in Europe. I currently only have my Italian passport and my SA drivers license on me. I also have SA police verified copies of my SA passport and ID with me.I am currently attempting to purchase a Eurrail pass, however I do not have my SA passport with me. Would an SA drivers license, or the copies of my ID & passport be sufficient as proof of identification? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

At this moment we are staying in Slovakia but we are planning to go to Krakow. It is not possible to book a seat online, so we will have to do that in Ostrava (that’s where we will start the trip to Poland). However, we are afraid the train will be fully booked by that time.. Has anyone travelled to Krakow recently and can tell us how busy the trains were?

Hello, I am planning to go interrailing in three weeks and starting to book train reservations. I noticed that, for example, when travelling from Wien to Bratislava, Rail Planner App says that you don’t need a reservation. But how can I be sure that there is room in the train 3 weeks from now if I don’t book a seat?? This is making me stress a lot because I don’t want any surprises, like missing the train, when travelling😅

Hi,I’d like to take an overnight train from Hamburg to Copenhagen. On the official Interrail website it says that reservations aren’t required, but in the official Interrail app it says that they are. Which one is correct? Thanks!Anna

Bonjour. Merci beaucoup

Hi there! So I’m in Barcelona right now and yesterday I went to the train station to get a seat reservation to Bordeaux St Jean and they told me I could only get one for the transit train to Nerbonne, wich I did and the seat reservation from Narbonne to Bordeaux I should get when I’m in France or online. But when I was trying to get it online It asks me for a “Interrail cover number” but the thing is I have the mobile pass and not the paper format. I won´t be in france until exactly the day of my journey, and the missing seat reservation is for the train I would need…. so it would be really risky to wait until minutes before departure to go in person to the service at the station and ask for buying the seat reservation. That is really risky. If that doesn´t work, I lost the following connections for what I already have reservations.Could somebody with experience on this help me, please? I cannot believe that this risky way is really the only way…Thanks a lot in advance!Cheers,Tim.

Hey I wrote a delay compensation. But I didn’t get any receive email that the check that. It that normal that you don’t get an automatic email? Or what can I do

No Second name in my passport.FIrst name is “Srikanth Ananda”how do i fill first and second name while booking train ticket

By accident my mobile deleted all the data of the apps including the data of the Interrail, when trying to log in it warns me that the pass is activated on another device when it is the same one. I leave on Thursday, September 1, and I wouldn't want to miss the trip so I hope this is fixable. I’ve already emailed to the two costumer services available. I’m scared that I wont get a response that’s why I’m reaching for help through all means

If my smartphone is stolen during my trip with my pass and I have to buy regular tickets, will these also not be refunded? With a police report that my smartphone was stolen.

Buenas!

Hi guys,I'm planning to travel from Karlstad (Sweden) to Oslo (Norway). The app tells me to buy seat reservations for both trains that I have to take. However I am unable to book the reservation for the train that enters Norway trough the interrail website. How do I make my reservation instead and is this an issue common in Norway?Thank you for your help in advance!Marie :)

I have recently paid for seat reservation tickets but got no confirmation email afterwards, similar to many users here. I have read through the posts and the consensus is that the order did not go through, I am to wait for a refund/raise a ticket (which I have done). Another question to ask is I understood I can book for “seat only” tickets on https://www.oebb.at/ for my Venice → Rome leg. However for my Paris → Basel Sbb, I cannot seem to find a website online that I can book seat reservations for the TGV Lyria. So where else should I look? (Considering I might not want to wait till few days before the trip to buy at the physical station)I hope some of the more experienced community members here might be able to help me figure it out, thank you!

Hey,The latest day of activation for my mobile pass (7 days within one month) is tommorow, 31/08/2022. Does the activation day have to be my first travel day?or can I choose the first travel day within one month? If I have to start traveling on latest activation day, is it possible to just not use this travel day?thank you!

Is my 15 year old son allowed to travel on his own with a global interrail pass?

I just found out that the Stockholm - Hamburg EuroNight Train will only consist of couchette cars.https://www.sj.se/en/travel-info/sj-euronight/cancelled-journeys.htmlMy friend I already booked our reservation for a seat car. We will be using an EU Interrail Ticket Global Pass and therefore only have the reservation and not a ticket itself. The news update explains that if our journey is cancelled we will be informed one week before our trip. This is honestly an incredible short notice and we would like to search for alternatives if we are affected. Is there any information if our ticket will be canceled before that? Is it possible to use a different train and reschedule to that one even if it takes longer? We already started a chat with SJ customer support. They told us that the train is already full so we can no rebook to the couchette cars reservation. If we want a refund for the reservation of 34€ per person we would need to contact Inter Rail where we book the reservation but we were

Since the eurail reservation has not been working for the past two days, I’m trying to book seat reservations through italiarail.com. There, I found a help article (https://www.italiarail.com/pages/italia-rail-reservations-and-supplements) with these instructions:Reservations can be made directly at a train station or by using the City to City search tool on our website. For seat reservation booking choose "I have a railpass".The trouble is, I don’t see that option anywhere when I try to book one. Does anyone know how to do so?

Me and 3 other friends are planning to go from Belgium to Zagreb by train. When I want to book my reservations at the interrail site it says we need to make a reservation for going from Munich to Zagreb. The only option is by paper ticket, but the delivery date is too late so I looked at the OBB site to make a reservation. It says there are no tickets available. Does this mean that the train is fully booked or I need to get my reservations on another site??Also on the Deutsche Bahn site it says reservations are impossible….

Hey everyone  Just a bit confused at the moment. I have used the rail planner map to plan my trip and I am planning on catching 5 train. 1) London to Amsterdam2) Amsterdam to Munich3) Munich to Zurich4) Zurich to Strasbourg5) Strasbourg to ParisJust confused that the rail planner app is recommending me to get a 6 travel day pass? (I will be flying in to London and flying out of Paris)

If I reserve and pay for seats on a train through Interrail does the reservation appear on my ticket or do I need to print it off
