Solved

I’ve made our first seat reservation out of several on Eurail.  However they will  not allow us to chose our seats.  So, I wanted to book direct with Eurostar, with the hope they will let us chose our seats.  However, they want a Pass Cover Number.  We have mobile passes, so I don’t think I have that number.  I’ve asked Eurail for it, but to no avail.  Any suggestions on how to book seat reservations and be able to chose seats?

(Falls man keine Sitzplatzreservierung braucht).

Good morning, I have a question about how to connect a journey from your Trip to your pass. My first journey is Madrid - Barcelona, and the next is Barcelona - Paris. But when I try to connect this jorneys to my pass, the app tells me that this journeys are round trips. However, my return trip to my country of destination will not be through Barcelona, but the return will be Montpelier - Madrid. But the app does not give another option, it tells me that it is a mandatory round trip.My pass is a global pass for one month. I am not very clear what it means that the journeys Madrid - Barcelona and Barcelona - Paris are round trips, when in fact they are not. Thanks

As stated in the headline my pass needs to by activated by 31.08.2022. However I can`t leave home until about a week later. So can I activate my pass before 31.08.2022 but put my first day of travel in September?

I ordered 4 night train tickets for me and my friends and said it to be delivered to an address in Germany. The tracking number after putting into the tool on postnl website says. Our apologies, we did not make the promised timeframe for your delivery. Keep an eye on your track & trace overview for more information. It has been over 4 days now and we need them in time asap. What can be done to reattempt the delivery?

I have the 7days in 1 month pass. I have booked 3 days in august. The mobile app does not allow me to have travel days in september, since it is the next calender date. Is it a rule or a bug in the mobileapp. Please help, I need it quickly!Thank you

Hi, I can’t see the train reservations in my account in reservation overiew. Is it normal?

I booked several seat reservations weeks ago and they all showed up in the reservation overview, I also checked two days ago and they were there. However, today they aren’t there anymore. Has someone experienced something similar? Is this a technical bug? I am really worriedFor information: I tried using a different browser, my phone etc. and it still doesn’t show up. One train I made a reservation for got cancelled, could that be the issue?

A few weeks ago I booked a few reservations. I received the confirmation mail and tickets and there were all in my reservation overview. But when I log in now, I don't see the reservations in my overview anymore. I do still have them in my mailbox, but when they're not in the overview anymore does that mean they're cancelled or something (i didn't get an email about this), or is this a technical issue?

I am really confused regarding the Eurail Spain Pass. I spent $800 on two adult first-class 8-day Eurail Spain Passes, but it seems that I can't use them to reserve train rides and seats, and there's no way to redeem the passes on train websites (such as Renfe), then what is the point of spending money on the passes? How do I even use then? I thought by having the Eurail passes I can save on train fare.  Is the only way to redeem my Eurail passes is by going to a major train station when I arrive in Spain?  I will arrive in Madrid on September 3. Thank you.

I bought a ticket for seat reservation with my old mobile pass number, and then my agent cancelled my old mobile pass without my order of cancellation. Then I bought a new mobile pass again with the same name and my all information but a different pass number due to new purchasing. So I wonder if I can still use the seat reservation ticket with my new mobile pass.

I travel with a Global Pass, first class. I try to make seat reservations for me and my wife for a trip from Bari Centrale to Bologna Centrale on September 2, 2022. I got the advice to do that with OBB, but the only result I get is “Ticket not available". How can I make the seat reservations (at Trenitalia, Frecchiarossa).

I want to go from Rotterdam to Porto. When I Google or use other planning tools I can find plenty or routes. But when I try via the interrail app - even when I try just small bits - there are 0 options. Does this mean interrail does not support the trains between certain destinations? Or should I book those seats somewhere else?

Toledo: I want to go to Toledo on Sep 7. I have been checking train schedules from Madrid to Toledo on the Rail Planner app; somehow the train schedule is only shown through Sep 3, but when I checked on the Eurail.com website, I could see train schedules all the way through the end of September. The problem is that I cannot reserve train ride on the website. What do I do? Train Seat Reservations: The Rail Planner app allows me to reserve train rides, but not train seat tickets. It seems the only option is to book at major train stations when I arrive in Madrid on Sep 3. I hope I will still be able to reserve seat tickets by then since I have already reserved a number of train rides on the app? I have purchased first-class Eurail Spain Pass. Any advice/tips are much appreciated! Thank you!

The Eurail site suggests there are no Eurail Aid offices in London, the UK generally, Paris or France. This is a major omission, especially since these are nations where a very large number of Eurailers commence their Pass usage. Are there any plans to rectify this? If Eurail Paper Passes don’t arrive in the mail, why can’t they simply be cancelled and reissued at such an office?  (I assume the answer may be ‘we can’t prevent fraud’). But latter could be minimised by ‘blacklisting’ particular Pass numbers if they were crosschecked against purchasers’ names.  In any case, they need a valid passport to accompany for validation at a ticket office.

URGENT PLEASE I’m travelling tomorrow and I had a problem with my phone and when it got fixed I could’t connect my pass again. It says it’s already connected to another device. The customer service email don’t answer me it’s been 2 days already, I need my train tickets for tomorrow, please help!!!!

Hi community, I am planning a trip where I need to travel from the UK to France (via Eurostar) on a specific day - 12th September 2022.I am aware that I need to have a reservation to travel on the Eurostar with an Interrail pass. However, when I try to use the reservation tool to check if reservations, I’m not sure because it says the pass reservations have ‘mostly sold out’ - I only need 1 so as long as they are not completely sold out I’m fine!?   I don’t want to get a pass until I know I can travel. I have read some other threads in the forum about using the rail operators websites to check reservation there but as far as I understand Eurostar does not sell reservations without tickets. Tickets available but that doesn’t mean they would have Interrail reservations.

In the topic “Issue - Facing difficulties to make reservations in Italy”, you said that you would contact Support on the problem of 1st class reservations being issued for Trenitalia trains when 2nd class were ordered.Do you have any news on this please?I have several reservations this problem applies to. I emailed support for help nearly 2 weeks ago but no reply yet. any help please?thank youRob

Hii, Me and my friends are trying to pay for our seat reservations. Nevertheless, we can’t click on the button which leads us to the payment. We will be travelling in about a month so we really need to book, otherwise the trains will be full. Does anybody know a solution on how to fix this?
