Solved

I purchased a pass on April 2021, and due to Covid I delayed the trip (Interrail extended the validity until August 2022). Now, August 22, I logged in the app to see how I plan my trip, and I cannot add my pass. How can I solve this? I have also tried through the website, but the pass appears to be expired. Need help urgently, I planned to leave on August 28. Thank you.I've also written customer support and talked to the bot. It is a mobile interrail global pass.

I have purchased 2 Global paper pass, and am still awaiting delivery in the United States.  Apparently the shipment is still in U.S. Customs and has been there for nearly 2 weeks.  I am still a couple of months from traveling but just trying to my due diligence in case this pass doesnt show up. I did a search on this site, and it appears several people have had major delays in recieving the paper passes due to issues with U.S. Customs/Post Office. When I recieved confirmation of the purchase of my Global paper pass I recieved pass cover numbers so I could go ahead and reserve seats.  I have done that.  Used the Belgian Rail site and purchased a reservation on Eurostar from London to Paris, and on the TGV from Paris to Colmar, Fr,  I have printed hard copies of the reservations. If my paper passes do not arrive in time, I may be forced to purchase a Mobile Pass, and then try and process a refund for the paper passes I have not recieved.  If I end up purchasing a Mobile Pass, can I use tho

Hi everyone,I bought my interrail ticket when I was 27. Due to covid I was unable to make the trip before my 28. birthday. Is there any way to upgrade the ticket? Thanks, Marvin

Hello friends! I have an urgent situation – when I booked my interrail pass, I mistakenly entered Germany as my country of residence as this is where I planned to depart from. My actual country of residence is UK. I only realised the mistake after starting my journey, and since I have already travelled through Germany twice, I cannot do so again, which will effectively ruin my trip!I have tried to reach out to customer support, but have not yet received any feedback. Can an Interrail/Eurail representative please get in contact with me. I am meant to travel tomorrow and need this problem fixed ASAP!Thanks in advance!

Hi, does someone know why there are only 2 train directions on the interrail map to cornwall/south england? One from london to bristol an one to st. Ives. There are more trains running, can I take them or why are they not on the map? Thanks for your help.

Hi all!I bought my 1-month global pass on 10 May 2022, so I understand that I must activate it by 9 April 2023.I only want to travel for 3 weeks, so can I activate my pass from 9 April but make my first journey on 13 April?i.e. is there any requirement to travel on the ‘activation date’? I have a mobile pass. Many thanks for your help!

Hi everyone,I have to ask a question. We are going to travel all around the north of Europe and finally we have almost everything booked. But we have one problem. We will be traveling also from Tornio Itainen to Helsinki (start 2.9. 22:16 → end 3.9. 10:45) - seat reservation required. This train is normally in railplaner app and I can also find it on eurail reservation system, but when I want to buy reservation, it writes to me this (viz added picture). Do you know why? Did sth like this happened to somebody?Than I checked the train on www.vr.fi and its completely empty. I also write on their customer service and there they told me, that only seat reservation without ticket I need to buy it through calling their service or in Helsinki train station (in where I am traveling, so I wont be able to buy it here). Did anybody had the same problem and solved it out somehow? Thanks a lot

Hello, I am from Germany and I received a EU flex pass in April this year through the Discover EU program. Now I am planning on doing a trip next year in February or March. But the problem is that I am only allowed to activate my pass till January 29th 2023 according to the "Rail Planner" app. But as I got the pass in April 2022, shouldn’t I be able to activate it till Mai 2023, right? Even my travel buddy, with whom I registered at the same time, got it verified till Mai. 2023 Now I wondered whether this can even be correct and how this can be changed...?  Thanks in advance! Kind regards,Ilka Stein

Do we need to buy an extra ticket to use the ferry between pula and venice (company: direct ferries)? Or is there any way its included in our globalpass or can we get some discount at least?

Could someone please confirm whether the following trip would be covered (entirely) by the 4-day Greek Islands Pass? (I realise I’ll only be using 3 journeys but this seems to work out cheaper than purchasing separately)Santorini → Paros → Naxos → Athens Many thanks!

Hi, I have a question. I bought Eurail Pass from an agency.I have two versions of Eurail Pass as the second version was issued for correcting surname which was shorten the last 4 letters by an issuer of the original pass (it seems surname is too long).I have reserved tickets of high-speed train from original version of Eurail pass. However, the conductors will validate my high-speed train tickets and my second version of Eurail pass.I’d like to inquire if there will be any problem of unmatched name/QR code or anything at validation ?Thanks you.

I purchased 6 Global Passes for my family of 6.  When I did the math it made sense.  But then when it came to booking I realised that trains were not always going to be my best option.  I now think I’m better off cancelling my global pass as it’s $3600 AUD that I can put into our holiday.  My question is; with the 2 reservations I have made what happens to my reservations.  I still need to take those trips. Here’s what I booked:Paris to Barcelona - 1st October 22 @10.12am - I paid USD $232 for my 6 set reservations.London to Paris on the Eurostar - 28th September - I paid AUD $197.76What happens if I’m on the train and they ask to see my Global Pass and we don’t have one?  Is there a way to pay the difference without cancelling my tickets as they’ve already been posted out? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello !I wonder whether or not a travel in ferry is counted as “ a day” with a “10 days in 2 months” global Interrail Pass ? For instance, if we are in Bari (Italy) on July 13th and we go on Patras (Greece) on July 15th with no additional train this day, do we still have one day less due to this ferry trip? Thanks a lot in advance for your help !Sophie

Hello eveyone ! I struggle to know  whether or not i can exchange (cancel if needed) my return ticket / outbound (Strasbourg - paris).  On your website is written : "all seat reservations are subject to the refund policy of the individual railway company – you can review this before confirming your cancellation. Booking fees are non-refundable."I don't get if I can get reimbursed (i paid 20€) if i change my return ticket (location and date), and if yes, how ?SNCF told me : because you booked on another platform (interrail) we cannot see anything about your reservation, please reach Interrail team. Could you please enlighten me ?Thanks a lot !Sophie .

Trying to book the direct train (1hr 56min)  from Brig to Milano Centrale on Sept 13th - i see thats available the weeks after that but not on Sept 13th or the week before.  Can anyone tell me why its not available on that date or what the best way to get from Zermatt to Milano Centrale in the shortest time with the fewest transfers would be? We are a family of 4 adults and have a 1st class one month Eurail pass.  Thanks in advance.

Hello, does anyone know why there is no train from barcelona to santiago or from santiago to porto after 13 september?

Hey hey everyone! It is really nice to be here :) I’m currently looking into the Greek islands pass, and I wanted to know if there’s any page where I can find the ports for the ferry’s? It would be cool to have this handy to book the accommodation close to the ports. Also, tips about the best itinerary from Italy to the Greek islands would be much appreciated! Thank you so much, and nice travels! :)

Hi, I’m in need of assistance. I bought a Eurail pass and was told to book my reservations for my Spain tickets at the ticket booth. However, I’m nervous that they will sell out before then. My trip break down is as follows:  Sevilla → Madrid on the 27th of August Madrid → Barcelone on the 29th of August Barcelona → Valence (France) so I can get to Marseille the 31st of August please let me know!!

Hello! I purchased the wrong pass and have not used it. The pass is a 15 day continuous one (did not buy PLUS) . I bought the correct pass (15 day flexi w/ PLUS) & I need to exchange them immediately because I begin traveling in 2 days. I sent a request but need to know if I can activate and use my new pass while I wait for the refund. I understand the refund of that original pass could take months but if I activate and use my new pass will it cause the refund to not work ?

Hola!!! Necesito reservar unos billetes a París desde hendaye, y en la página de reservas me piden un número pero que solo tienen  los pases impresos. No se cómo hacer, por otro lado , he mirado Barcelona -paris y tampoco me deja reservar. Alguien me da alguna solución? Alguna idea de rutas chulas sin tener que reservar para 1 semana más o menos ? Gracias !!!!

When I go for buying the reservations, interrail proposes me options that it's impossible to buy. How can I organise in advance my travel in this way, if I can't know before the trains I will be able to take or not?I think it is really a problem that false options are proposed when preparing the travel. I've gone to buy the tickets immediately after preparing the travel and a lot where not able to buy.

The eurail site info page about the Bergen railway says both that the Bergen line is ‘fully included in your interrail pass’ and then that ‘reservations are mandatory’, which is it?

I would like to refund my reservation for the NT 472 from Bucarest to Budapest - has anybody been successful in doing this before, and if so how would I go about it.I would also be happy to swap to the same journey on a different date, if that would be at all possible. Thanks!

Hi to all, I’m planning to go London from sofia via train but i didnt even travel once with neither interrail nor any other train. When i look into i saw that the route from sofia to london is a bit complicated one. So i need help from other experienced travelers. I only know that i need to go paris for london but i’m stranger to these things but wanna try. So my questions are on average how much it would cost to me, how many days it would take, is it reasonable to take train rather than plane, Which route i should take ? and what should beginners need to know about interrail and etc.

Hi. Is the night/sleeper train from Madrid to Lisbon available again? Or is it still suspended? Are there other night train options? How about a sleep bus? Thanks.
