Solved

Hello,I recently booked seat reservations for me and my friend for our trip to italy in august. The reservations i received are all located in the 1st class of the trains even though  we have 2nd class interrail passes. I suppose that we are not allowed to sit in the 1st class so i would like to get valid reservations for the 2nd class. I already wrote to the customer support but i didn´t receive an answer yet. Actually I don´t think that this is my fault so i really don´t want to pay for all the reservations again.Does anyone have any suggestions what i can do? Best wishes,Laura

Dear Interrail, I am an indian national, residence of france but at the time of applying Eurail I gave the address of netherlands, the place I was then staying. Now, while activating I saw that my country of residecne is shown Netherlands. I haven't activated the pass yet but want to do so ASAP. I have contacted interrail but no response yet in 4 days although I got a mail that I will be contact ed in 2 days. Could you share if there is another contact method if they don't reply soon? I have attached the proof of residence.Although having wrong country of residence will benefit me because I am missing a smaller country but I am worried if wrong information can be used to invalidate my journeys.Best Regards,Gurpreet

I have booked and completely purchased seat reservation for days. But it doesn't appear neither on my reservation overview page nor order history. I am traveling in 2 hours PLEASE CHECK IT NOW

I have one country paper passes that are activated for August 15. I didn’t yet make any reservation but want a refund. How do I desactivate these passes or is it not necessary due I didn’t have any train reservation? Please give me a concrete answer with, if needed, concrete instructions.Thanks.

I bought an interrail pass to go from Brussels to Spain and Portugal and to be able to move easily without too much planning. The first destination is Valencia. Unfortunately, I see on the rail planner that there are not so many connections, and of the connections that there are, most I cannot reserve through the railplanner app and it does not clearly say how I can. I just discovered this forum now, and I am a bit lost in all the information here (like, I can book reservations for french trains through Deutsche Bahn?). Any help would be appreciated :-). For now the best plan was taking a bus to Paris, because I assumed there were no bookable trains left because the railplanner app does not show them. But apparently there might be trains that aren't shown in the app?Where/on what website/… should I check for trains, and make the reservations (Brussels-France, within France, and France-Valencia)? I can go to the international SNCB offices in Brussels South station tomorrow, if that woul

We will be arriving the afternoon of the 13th - but departing the 12th from North America. Can we activate our passes upon arriving at Heathrow for a journey from the airport, or must we activate it before departing?Thank you.

I’m trying to reserve a direct night train from Munich to Venice on 22 July (NJ 40463). The system keeps on giving me an error at checkout saying that I need to look for an alternative route. When I search an alternative route, I see the same train (NJ 40463) but it shows that I need to change trains in Austria. It will not let me book the direct train from Munich to Venice, but it allows me to book the first leg to Austria. Can I book the first leg and just stay on the train all the way to Venice? Help is appreciated!

Hello guys, I want to travel home from Gothenburg to Frankfurt (Main) but I wont have a connection that will bring me home in one day.I have to take a night train from Gothenburg to Hamburg and then change trains in Hamburg to get to Frankfurt on the next morning. Now my Question: Can I count this whole journey as one inbound travelday or do I have to buy a ticket from Hamburg to Frankfurt/plan a stop in Denmark so I can make it in one day?

I think this is several questions in one but I’m totally new and very confused!I have passes for my family. They are on the Railplanner app and also the Interrail website. I am travelling from the UK and have outbound and inbound reservations on the Eurostar via the website which I know I have to print out. But the app is asking me to link a trip, and that won’t have reservations on it. How on earth does all this work? I can see similar questions - I feel like I have two separate profiles and no idea how to connect them!I also need to book my domestic train to and from St Pancras and the train company (LNER) demands a reservation, but the website isn’t letting me do that. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello everyone,I won a DiscoverEU Interrail pass this year. The pass includes 7 travel days in one month. I would like to upgrade my pass to have more travel days. Is this possible?

Does anyone know why there are no direct trains from Copenhagen to Hamburg in the Rail Planner app?

HI, I'm just checking if the train from Malmö to Copenhagen on 19.July runs but all the connections on the website say that there are no available tickets. Does this mean that we can still get on the train (we are four persons)? The seat reservations are not mandatory.

Looking at travelling from Paris to Copenhagen on our Eurail pass. We are a family of 4 and looking at the best way to travel (in a 4 berth) in December. Is it possible to use only 1 “day” of our pass? Has anyone done this route?

Hello! Is it possible to take the train from Skopje to Belgrad at the moment? In the interrail app there is no connection. Many thanks!Anisha

Hello all!I am going to Norway with a global pass this summer. I am trying to book trains from Kristiansand to Stavanger and from Bergen to Oslo, but the interrail app doesn’t show these trains.  Interrail website suggests to book through the app ENTUR (which actually shows the direct trains that I want), but if I use the app Entur, I have to pay the full price to book the train and the seat, since they don’t have the interrail pass information. How I am supposed to book the train and the seat if the interrail plan app doesn’t show the trains ?  Thank you for your help!Elodie

Hi everyone!I have a question concerning seat reservation on tgv. I want to take the train shown in the screenshot, but interrail tells me that it is not possible to make a seat reservation on that train. However I checked sncf site and there it is possible to book a train ticket for the same train, meaning that IT IS NOT SOLD OUT, but on sncf it is not possible to make a seat reservation with the option “interrail”. How can I solve this situation?  Thank you very much,Roberto

Hi, I’m meant to be travelling at 6am tomorrow. I haven’t yet activated my mobile pass. I have a reservation for London → Paris. I’m thinking of being away longer than originally thought and thinking of changing my 15 day pass to the unlimited version over 2 months.Am I still able to do that now (6pm CET)?Is the process that I buy the new pass and request a refund for the old pass? And am I likely to get refunded for the old pass? Just a bit nervous about the refund.I emailed Eurail earlier but got a reply about trains in Italy which was not what I was asking about. I’ve emailed again - but advice would be great. Thanks

Hello!I’m trying to do this on CD.cz Website but “I want a reservation only” doesn’t appear :/ how is it necessary to do?

I'm so grateful for the help I have already received here! There seems to be an endless amount of questions while planning a longer trip, so one more question. If I change from Vejle- Copenhagen airport to Copenhagen airport- Stockholm (time of arrival 12.25, departure 12.35), will the trains leave from the same platform, meaning, will there be enough time for the change?

Hi! I got 2 months pass on May 10th. I know the ticket is valid to use up to 11 months. So, it should expire about April 9th. My question is do I need to start to use the ticket latest 10th of Feb to travel for 2 months? Or can I validate it in, for example, in April 1st and travel until June 1st? Thank you!

Hi, we are planning to visit Italy, Switzerland, Paris, Netherland in a few days. is eurail global pass is worth for that? How much is will cover in Switzerland?

I booked the train tickets for my trip last night. I'm leaving in 3 days. The payment seems to have gone through but I still don't receive any confirmation emails with my tickets. What can I do?

My wife and I are booking a journey from London to Frankfurt. We have to change trains in Brussels. On my wife's Android phone both halves are treated as the one journey and use one day.On my IPhone the part from Brussels has to be activated separately and it says this will count as another day. How can I fix this?

Quick question, ill travel to London for 4 Days and found a nice connection. But on my way back it seems like every train from London to Brussel or Paris is fully booked with Interrail. Is there any chance that ill get my reservation on the 24.07 or is it normal that every Eurostar Train is booked. (I checked for Trains starting 22.07 - 10.08 and every single one is not available) thanks to your help

Hello, I am very sorry if this question has already been answered.I am planning to travel from Lyon-Part Dieu to Barcelona in September and I have read that it is possible to make a seat reservation per phone (which is new I assume?). Does anybody know what information I need when I make the call? (which cards are accepted and how does this work generally? Do I have to provide them just my card number?) Also, do I need my pass cover number for that?Since, I have 2 months left, there is also the possibility to buy it via the rail planner app, but then I’d have to wait for 6 weeks at least for the paper ticket to arrive, which sounds a bit risky. What would you suggest? Per phone, or online and wait? If it does not arrive on time, is there anything you can do? Thanks in advance,Cheers
