Hi,I bought my Interrail Global Pass and planned my trip. Germany to RomeRome to FlorenceFlorence to VeniceVenice to Germany I booked a 4 day ticket, because the times line up perfectly to reach each destination within a day or a couple of hours. Now I read, that I have to use a travel day just to travel in my home country ( germany ).Does that mean, that I have to actually book 6 travel days? And if that is the case, could I change my pass to get a pass with more days? PS. : It’s quite sad that there are no informations about that when you book the tickets. Thank you very much, Hannah

Hello, I have the problem that I can not currently buy seat reservations for my upcoming trip next week, explicitly it is about the relation Szczecin Glowny - Gdynia and Gdynia - Poznan (- Berlin). Now I have the problem that I can not buy seat reservations via the Interrail service, via PKP (the train provider) I can theoretically get Szczecin - Gdynia and Gdynia Poznan, but only with credit card which I do not have.So the following questions:1. can I somehow book through Interrail the above mentioned reservations?2. can I buy a reservation through the PKP service by bank transfer or similar ?Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Hi, ive purchased my interrail pass, everything was ok. Later, i restored my iPhone, and now, i cant use my pass because it said that it is activated in another mobile phone. Whan can i do?Thank you so much!!

Hi there, I have a train ticket for Paris Gare du Nord - Amsterdam Centraal on the 17th of July, 7:55 am. I've tried for over a month to reserve a seat, as it is mandatory, but was never able to book the reservation because the site was too laggy/buggy.  Today I tried again. And boom! The prices are unavailable and it says it might be due to the train being booked out. I've tried booking for other trains that day and even on the day before or after, to no avail. They all seem to be fully booked.  Anyone know what I can do? I've even tried going to my local train station, but they couldn't book the reservation for me. I've tried the SNCF website as well, but you can only book the full train tickets there. I'm freaking out, to be honest. My hotels are all non-refundable and it seems like I might have to cancel my trip because of this issue.

I purchased 4 reservations for 2 people for 2 legs of a journey from Lourdes, France to Barcelona, Spain 2 weeks ago.  I received an email from eurail confirming the purchase.  Attached to this email I received 2 reservations, that I printed, for 1 leg of the journey (from Toulouse to Narbonne).  For some reason they are MAILING the 2 other reservations (from Narbonne to Barcelona)and charging me for the postage, instead of just emailing them.  Eurail sent me an email on June 10th stating that the reservations are on the way and should be at my mailbox by 07-16-22, IN 5 WEEKS!  I'm not sure why in would take 5 weeks to get here, but the trouble is, WE'LL BE IN EUROPE BY THEN.  Is there another way of getting these reservations? Maybe at a train station? I emailed eurail this question 2 weeks ago and have received no reply to date. Thanks.Mark & Dana Carter

Hello! I bought my global passes yesterday but couldn’t make any reservations right away & now it’s not showing any seat reservation possibilities on August 1st, 23:51 train Ljubljana to Munich. If I look at RailEurope it’s showing it’s running/seats are available.  Any suggestions on how to book it?

Hi, On 11th of April I bought a Global Pass online. I paid, but I never received a confirmation mail nor a purchase order on my account. I've sent already three messages to the support desk and never received an answer. I can't find a phone number anywhere on the website. Best Regards, Anita

Hi Eurail,I am with my family of 3 (in total) and we have got 7 days Global Pass. I have two questions:I have activated my passes and while I was making Eurostar seat reservations from Paris to London on 11 July, there are no seats available. Please advise if there are other possibilities for reservations. I tried this  https://www.b-europe.com/ but it also doesn’t show the option.  We bought 7 days pass but if we can’t use all if Paris to London train is not possible. Then we might need to change the plan and fly and we will use only 4 days pass. Can we get 3 days refund? Where do I need to contact for that?

Hi everybody,i'll take these trains, do you advise me to book seat reservation or not? and what will happen if I don't book and there will be no more seats?the trains are:Budapest-wien 12:40-15:21 6th AugustPrague-schwandorf 7:38-11:04 12th AugustThanks

Hi,I just purchased a Eurail Global 2 month pass.I am trying to travel from Paris to Luxembourg on Sunday 17th July, but am not able to make any reservations in the app (coming up as N/A), inOUI website, SNCB… I have read many guides online and even found the one created by this community - but it hasn’t helped for this particular route.I am feeling very lost - this is going to be my first train of my trip and I am feeling disheartened that it’s this hard!Wondering if someone is able to give me advice on how to book this journey! Thank you

Hi! My boyfriend and I are planning our big interrail trip but are getting stuck using the train planner that Interrail provides. When we try to find trains from Sofia to anywhere between Greece and Croatia there are no trains available even though there should be as seen in  the Interrail maps of possible train journeys. Until now we have only found some busses that could take us through these different countries, but of course our goal is to go by train if possible.Has anyone come by this issue as well? Has anyone found a solution?

I am trying to do seat reservations from Koln to Brussels. The B-Europe site (Belgium railways) shows seat available for full price tickets but none for Eurail Pass Holders. Can we still catch the train using the pass and hope that seats will be available?

Hi everyone, Anyone who did a trip by train from Belgium to Turkey? I'm interested in doing this with my 10y old son this summer vacation. But I really have no clue where to start! Which route is recommended? And is the interrail pass for 7 days/month enough for this trip? How are the days counted? Thanks in advance! Hope to hear some tips 🖐

This is my first time using the interrail (I have Interrail global pass.), so I’m a little bit new in this trains-world and I think I need your help, guys. I have read some posts where it is explained how to book the seats in differents websites, but I have tried to book the nightjet 469 from Paris to Salzburg on the 14th of July at 19:57 at oebb.at, and I couldn’t make it. As you can see in this picture, it says it is not possible. So I would like to ask you, if there is any other site where or how I can book this trip, because I tried also in bahn.de and it is not possible too :( Thank you,Héctor

does the train run on christmas holidays?

I tried to make a reservation the other day for four of us to travel from Amsterdam to Paris in mid July. After I paid $51 for this and made the reservation, I received tickets by email, but only for the part of the journey in France, from Lille to Paris. I think this may have something to do with how the different nations’ rail lines handle reservation, but I don’t know. Does anyone know why this is? If the other rail lines handle tickets differently, how do o get my hands on my reservations?

Hey everyone,I‘d like to book a seat on the TGV from Narbonne to Lyon (I have a 1 month global pass). A friend of mine has booked a regular ticket without an Interrail ticket for that train and told me her seat number. Does anybody know if I can select a certain seat so we can sit together? I’ve already tried but all I could select was if I want to have a window or aisle seat. Thanks for your help! :)

Hey,does anybody know, what the meaning of N/A referring to reservations means?Thabks for your answers!

some week ago i booked a seat reservetion for a train that required it, and it had to be sent to my adress.a few days ago I recieved an email that said that my order had been shipped, but today i got an email saying that there was a problem with the shipping and my payment of shipment has been refunded. looking at the tracker of the order it says that it is not even in my country yet.what can i do? and how can i get my tickets on time?thank you.

Hello,I received an email today stating that Thalys was cancelling my train from Brussels to Amsterdam and that I needed to exchange it or request a refund. Of course this is the third leg of a journey that will be starting in Barnsley, UK and I have no housing in Brussels and need to make an exchange to a later Thalys train (or get a refund and take whatever train I can get) — or take a different way to Amsterdam from London so I can still arrive in Amsterdam on the same day as originally planned.I tried calling the help line for Thalys, but the agent told me I have to make the exchange through Eurail, but I can’t find where I can do that on the website, and the help pages aren’t of any use.How do I make this exchange? A bit panicked, especially after living through the UK rail strikes! This journey has been a major disaster. The Global Pass needs more mobile ability if we’re supposed to book ahead when we’re not in a train station. But then can only rectify issues inside a train stat

Hey, I have a 1 month pass. I thougt it's still valid after 30 days if I don't use the whole pass and I can go for example a few days later again? Because I'm going tomorrow and activated it and it says it's just valid till 22 of july..Thanks for your help!

Hi. I bought a 2 month global pass and messaged supporton the 13th June, asking how I can apply for acomplimentary caregiver pass, as I am planning onactivating the pass in late July or early August. Iunderstand that the support are overwhelmed withrequests at the minute but I am seeing customers sayingthey have waited 3 weeks or a month for a reply. I'm quiteworried that by the time support reply telling me whatevidence I need to send, as well as the time they'll take toreview evidence and get back to me, that it'll be too latefor me to go. Am I justified in this or should I be expect toreceive help soon? Also, do I need to include the carer’s name in the email, so that they can issue the complimentary pass with the carer’s details already input, or will I be given a blank pass so that I can input the details? This is important as I receive care from a team of carers, so the carer that travels with me will be decided by what date I set off and their availability - meaning they need ad

I have an Interrail pass for me and my two kids.I will first travel alone from Bergen to Riga, later to Sandefjord to pick up my children. Is there a way to book seats only for one person for the first leg of the journey, and then add the others to the trip later on?

Unfortunately my phone does not recharge anymore, in the middle of an interrail trip. I need my pass unblocked so I can switch device, it is kind of urgent as I plan to take another train trip tomorrow around 3pm, so I am in a hurry to get it fixed. I did sent a message to eurail on Facebook, but how do I make sure to get a fast reply?

It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board. Any one please help me in this booking.
