Hello! I am traveling from Innsbruck to Vienna next Sunday and plan to travel via Semmering bahn. I'm wondering what would be the best route and which train would be the best option for enjoying the scenery on the Semmering bahn? Local or faster train? Any thoughts?

How to contact rail planner app? Does not let log in.

I am Global Pass holder with1st class.Would like to take SNCF train ex Paris to Etretat Normandie Grand Val .App planner shown on seat reservation for 2nd class holder. Please confirm if 1st class holder need to pay seat reservation fee as well ?

When I purchase a Eurail Pass, do I have to pick the train routes as well? Can I buy a four day pass and then select the trains on the days that I'm traveling?

We had to scan our ticket at a barrier to board a train from St Lazare to Rouen.  The QR code was not accepted,  a message 'Titre non valide' with a big red cross appeared.  The assistant couldn't help but eventually another colleague let us through as the train was about to leave. Are we likely to have the same problem on our return trip to Paris?  Everything looked ok with our ticket,   train number, date, time etc. It's the first time we've had to go through a barrier,   scanning during ticket inspection on other routes has been fine

Hello. I'd like to book a train that doesn't appear on Eurail Planner. It's a train that crosses the border between France and Spain. Is it possible to board by selecting a seat on a different website other than Eurail Planner? If so, how do I register the train on Eurail? Thank you in advance.

Hi. I am traveling on my own from England to Germany and back over Christmas. I than want to repeat the same journey for New Year with 2 children agred 7 and 10. Can I do that with a one country pass?

Hi all, hopefully someone can help me. My departure is approaching, and interrail.eu has sent me an email urging me to make reservations as soon as possible — but it’s not working. The following portals have been broken for at least a week: When I click “Book seats” in the Rail Planner app, the app tries to open a webpage that shows a 404 error.     On raileurope.com, the progress bar gets stuck on every request. I’ve been seeing this for a week as well.     Where else can I make online seat reservations? It’s about French (SNCF) and Spanish (Renfe) trains. Thanks everyone!

Hello wise friends!Last Dec/Jan was our first experience with the Eurrail pass and could not have been more pleased with it.  Our route was Berlin | Hamburg | Amsterdam | Nuremburg | Vienna | Salzburg | Munich.  Also did some day trips on the side.  We reserved seats on some, but not all the trains.  It all went like clockwork. This year we are coming at the end of October and going to Porto | Lisbon | Southern Spain (Seville and other cities we haven’t exactly decided on yet) | Madrid | Barcelona.I’m just wondering whether the Eurrail pass would give us the same value, or whether we are better off using the Portuguese and Spanish train systems.  A few things I have read have indicated that that could be the case, especially as we are in off-season, so may not strike the problem of booked ou:)t trains.  We are not great with planning ahead, so will not be booking individual trains in advance!  And I don’t think we can go fully by train from Lisbon to Seville?  Or nearby. What would you a

We are travelling very soon, passing through Germany, Slovenia and Austria.  All 4 travel days are activated because I know what journeys I want.  If there is an unexpected delay so we miss a connection, can I still remove journeys from an active day and change them to later ones with the same destination?  I would be very grateful for a prompt reply if possible.

Hi, I’m planning a Christmas markets trip (primarily in Germany) with stops in Essen, Aachen, Koln, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Esslingen, Konstanz and Strasbourg.  My question is whether it’s possible and optimal to take the train from Freiburg to Offenburg then changing trains to a TER going from Offenburg to Strasbourg.  Would I travel from Freiburg to Kehl using the Eurail Pass and then purchase a separate ticket through SNCF from Kehl to Strasbourg for about 5 euro to cover the border crossing?  I assume that I’m effectively having two tickets for the same physical train trip from Offenburg to Strasbourg.  I haven’t been able to find the option to purchase train tickets not covered by the pass in the Rail Planner app.  The only purchases through that I can make appear to be seat reservations and loading the pass.  Thanks in advance for any insight.

Hi,I am Global Pass holder.May I use this pass for Montreux to Haut de Caux rail service ?

Hi,I am Global pass holder.May I use this pass to take IC train for below service ?

Hi all, I’ve listed my journey from London to Paris on ‘my Trip’.However I booked the seat reservation via RailEurope and not via Eurail app.  I have received my Eurostar email, completed the API and printed my tickets so they know I am booked on and all is good on that front.  Are there implications for when I go to board..?  When I trigger the Pass next Sunday will it all make sense….?  I just don’t understand how the ticket QR codes will appear on the app…...do I have to do something manually.  All my train times and routes are listed in ‘My Trip’.Thanks P

May I get seat reservations on journeys that do not require them? For example, I have gotten tickets with my Eurail pass for Malmo to Oslo for 9-10-25, 10:12 to 17:44.  And if I can do seat reservations, will the Eurail discount apply?  Same question for Nice to Genoa?

HolaaaaNo puedo guardar distintos planes dentro de la aplicación de interrail.eu. Queremos poder tener diferentes alternativas creadas en la aplicación para poder elegir. Alguien sabe cómo funciona exactamente?I can't save different plans within the interrail.eu app. We want to be able to have different alternatives created in the app so we can choose between them. Does anyone know how it actually works?Alguien nos puede ayudar? Someone can help us?

I want to book Eurostar for March 2026. The train times are on the Eurostar website but the app is telling me that they do not have details of the timetable yet because it is too early and I need to wait.

We’ll start using our 3-month global passes soon and I’ve set up a Trip with journeys - how do I share this with my partner’s phone? The dropdown only lists Edit / Duplicate / ShowInWidget. And where does this widget appear after creation? Nothing shows up on the home screen.

Hello all.  My family and I are traveling to Germany, Switzerland and France this December.. We purchased a Eurail pass that is good for 7 days during the time we will be there.  I am within 90 days of my travel but Eurail website is showing “No Trains Available” when I try to book seat reservations.  I know there are train schedules out and even have the trains I want to take and want to make a seat reservation.   Do I have any options for making seat reservations others than waiting out Eurail to update their trains schedules?   Anything I am doing wrong?   Thanks, in advance, for any help and advice you could give.

What is the best way to secure a carry-on bag on trains through out Europe. We have a first class Eurail pass and we’re traveling in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium and Netherlands.

Hello, I would like to know if the five-day Global Pass is enough to travel five times in different countries in Europe and also if seat reservations are made after payment and purchase of the Global Pass.I ask this because I already have my travel dates and need to know if I can schedule exactly for the days I will be traveling.
