Hi,I’m trying to book seat reservations on the 9:12 from Prague to Budapest on October 8th.  On the horrid Eurail app it says seat reservations necessary, on the ghastly eurail website it says ticket not available and on OBB it says seat reservation not necessary…..any idea which one is correct, oy!

I made a mistake the 1st time I used the app to reserve a train ticket. I bought the 2 months with 10 days of travel.  The ticket used 2 days of travel so i deleted that ticket and was only able to delete one of the travel days as the ticket day was the current day.  In the 1st 10 minutes of playing with the application i had permanently lost a day of travel. I have sent multiple emails to the help in the application all I get is the automated response and then later an email asking for my opinion on how well they dealt with the problem. I have yet to be at contacted by a single person I went to the train station ask for help there and was told they couldn't help me because it was a problem with the app if I had a paper ticket they could fix the problem. This is been ongoing now for a month I only have two more weeks of travel. I can only assume that they figure if they ignore me long enough the ticket will expire and they won't have to do anything. The complete lack of support and hel

Normally I use my EU ID for activating my pass, not my passport. But for the new continuous Interrail pass I will visit also maybe some countries outside the EU. Do I need to activate the Pass with my passport or is then also the ID sufficient? Of course I have my passport with me then for border control, but I don’t like to take my passport with me when not necessary.

Hi there, I am a canadian citizen planning on taking the 2 months Eurail Global Pass. During those 2 months, I’am planning to stay at friends in Swizerland a lot, would I be able to use the Eurail pass unlimited in Switzerland during those 2 months as it will be like my main spot of travelling ?  Thanks a lot,  Justine

We are a family of 5 interrailing for the first time this summer. Really looking forward to it :-)For some trains it was easy to make a reservation, but there are a few where it is not possible via the app. So I thought lets ask a question to the more experienced interrailers.Do you think we can reserve seats at the station in Berlin on 9 July? The traintrips we have planned are: Berlin - Krakow (12 July), Budapest - Split (19 July), Split - Ljubljana (26 July). Thanks so much for your reply 🙏🏼

Hello friends. May I ask is railjet covered in my 7 days in 1 month eurail pass? Thank you. xx

Hello,I bought a mobile pass. I would like to make my first reservation for Paris - Barcelona. However, when I try to reserve a seat, I have no choice but to receive my ticket in "paper format" which will be sent to my home address at a cost of 9€. I don’t understand why ? I chose the mobile pass to have the tickets directly on my phone...Thanks in advance! Merci d’avance!

Hello everyone,I bought 2 Global Passes (not activated yet).I want to book 2 Reservations (because it is mandatory) for a train from Basel SBB to Paris on 03.06.2022 and also on the same from Paris to London. Also for the way back I need to book these trains in advance.Somehow when I use the “book reservations”-tool on the eurail.com-website I can´t find anytrains. It is just loading forever. What can I do?

We’re getting married in July, and we plan to fly to Paris (from the USA) and then take the train from Paris, to Switzerland (Geneva, Bern, Zurich), then Italy (Pisa and Rome), then to Croatia (Zaghreb), then Greece (Athens).  We plan to stay 3-5 days in each destination, and we have no idea how to go about reserving tickets.  We can’t just use the Eu Pass to ride trains, we need seperate reservations for each train, correct? And how do we secure the night cabins?  Thank you kindly.

Can I combine my digital pass with a seat reservation purchased at the railway station? I can't verify myself when trying to book reservation online. Lost my BankID together with my mobile.

Hello, i’ve been reading many times the instruction but i didn’t understood how the destinations works. Can i use the pass to go to any destinations or i’m only limited with the destinations provided by the site?thank you

I’m looking to travel to CZ this summer by train as its more environmentally friendly. How does the pass work? I buy pass then what?   I have to  plan my journey using rail planner. Do I have to pay for the tickets that the journey needs or everything is covered by pass?Rail planner can show very cheap journeys is that the extra I have to pay ? It could end up being a very expensive trip to buy a global pass for 4 days travel and extra tickets and seat reservations.

Dumb question, I know. But I just wanna make sure. All of those dots are stops where you can get off, right? I need to take a train to Köeln from Berlin but I need to take the train that goes to Bonn-Bad and I just wanna make sure that I can actually get off in Köeln haha.

Hello, I’m trying to purchase the Greek Islands Interrail Pass. The thing is that I have a composed last name and it is too long (18 characters) and I can only write 17. I’ve been reading that the important thing is the last name so, what can I do?

HI everyone, I am new in this community and I get a global pass for 30 days in promotion of the 50th anniversary of interrail, when I bought the vouchers there was information at the time that indicated that it could be used X days in the first month, and later other X days in the second month, up to a maximum of the first 3 months from the activation of the global pass. My doubt is if this is real, since a few days after acquiring the global pass and disappearing the 50th anniversary promo I have not seen that information again to try to clarify my doubts, that's why I ask the community to confirm if that exists or on the contrary, the 1-month bonus purchased with the 50th anniversary promo can only be used for 1 month from the activation of the same global pass. Thank you.

I’ve been to Rome, Florence. Would like to go to Venice. Is it easy to get the train from Rome airport to Venice and return? Coming from US to Rome RT and first time taking the train across Italy. Any suggestions for Venice in mid/late July?

I bought a 15 days in two months mobile pass that shows up as continuous 15 days from activation as opposed to two months for use during 15 days.

Hi, we are interrailing this summer and want to make seat reservations from Basel to Milano and from Milano to Florence. But for the last couple of days this is not possible, we tried the Interrail website, Interrail app and DB website. Any clue / help?

Hi All,It is my first time travelling with interrail and I am planning to purchase ticket fro me and my fiancé for the travel during this december (2021) Our plan is to arrive from Ukraine to Paris and same day take a TGV to Strasbourg. ( arrival to CDG 12:10, departure from Gare de L'Est 15:00)I noticed that for all TGV you need to reserve in advance, and better to reserve early, however have to reserve no later than 3 hours before departure ( meaning 12:00 )We are a bit worried Since during covid 19 we had many plans that have changed last minute ( the airline did not allow to board, the customs did not allow to enter the country ( happened to us in Turkey when flying to USA). We have checked all travel restrictions, it should be fine, but we never know and always worried until we land. Therefore, I would like to clarify the refund policy, since it is written that i can only refund the pass if it has not been activated, however, in order to make reservation - i do need to activate it

Hello,  I have been trying to book a train for a week now, but there is always this error message “prices temporarily unavailable” and it tells me to come back in a few hours to check the prices. However it’s been a week and I need to be able to book something

Hello the community,I bought a global pass, paper one. But I never received it. I am trying to contact by e-mail, messenger and twitter interrail but I never had any answer.Does anyone has a solution or a phone number to solve this problem?I plan to go in 10 days.Thank you for your help Ludi

I just bought a Eurail 15 days in 2 months Pass and was trying to book seat reservations. I will be arriving in Paris on May 31st and my first train is on June 1st from paris to Lyon, which is why I really want to book my reservations online, not in person.I have tried multiple times, and many different routes, but I keep getting the same error message. It says:  “please find an alternate connection, the unavailable leg will be removed from your cart”. This message pops up no matter the route or time I try.I also tried to book through the travel.b.europe website, however, I need a pass cover number for that, and I have a digital pass. I do not want to risk booking the ticket the day of arrival so I don’t know how this can be fixed. The trains I plan to take which need a reservation are the following: Paris Gare de lyon- Lyon Part Dieu: June 1, 2022    12:50-14:36Lyon Part Dieu – Milano Centrale: June 2, 2022  10:38-17:40Milano Centrale- Firenze S.M.N: June 8, 2022 10:10-12:04Bruxelles
