I have been trying to book the eurostar for days now. My pass is showing in the app but not on my browser so I cannot book through Interrail, and I don’t have a pass cover number as I have a digital pass. Getting really urgent now so can someone tell me how to get around this?? Thanks

Dear Interrail Team, I need your help. I am a single mother from Turkey, Istanbul. I was planning to introduce European culture and history to my kids this summer. Therefore two days ago I purchased one month long global passes during flash sale. However the day after my purchase I had an accident and I multifractured my ankle. I had an operation and I am in cast now. The doctors tell me that it is impossible for me to heal completely until July when I was planning to use the passes . I will not be back to work even in August. I know that passes are usable for 11 months. However  I am teaching literature in high school. This coming July is the only time I can travel. As I am a single parent I don't have anyone else who can take my kids instead of me either. Even though I am aware that these passes are unrefundable, I am asking for an exception because of my extraordinary circumstance. I would be extremely thankful if I am allowed to return these passes and get refunded. Thanks for your

Hello,My husband is French and plan to buy interail pass to go around EU countries. Can he use interail pass to travel in France as well or he has to buy ticket separately? Thanks,

Hello, I am not sure if the Interrail or Eurail is the right pass?! I am an Australian citizen but I am living in Germany and have a residency card. In some parts of the website it says you need to be a “permanent resident” in Europe, but in different places on the website it says “legal resident” so I don’t find this clear. Is the Interrail suitable for people who are residents of Europe but not permanent residents? Thanks so much for the help!!

I have been working for two solid days to secure a mandatory seat reservation on a train from Vienna to Utrecht that is a critical leg of my planned trip. Most of the time when I try to search for trains the search times out before I get a list of possible trips, and this is true regardless of what I enter for the origin and destination of the trip.  I just get a spinning wheel that eventually times out before any train connections are shown. On the rare occasions that the system shows me some options for the desired train trip, if I try to select the mandatory reservations and add them to my cart, the cart usually shows them as added.  But when i then try to purchase the seat reservations, I either get back to a spinning wheel OR the site logs me out automatically OR I get told that the reservations I selected are no longer possible.  When the last happens, I am not given an option to go back to the previous search and select either a different level of seat reservations or a different

I will be travelling w my eurail pass tomorrow. However I think I only need to have 4 days instead of 7 days which I have purchased and activated. Could I ask for exchange and refund part of the money asap?

I bought an 8 day flexipass for Switzerland. Once I activate it, I need to use it on the next 8 days or can I choose the days of travels? I am asking because I will be 12 days In Switzerland and not traveling everyday

I need a how-to.If I want to buy a mandatory seat reservation to use with my already purchased Eurail pass on a train that can be booked at https://www.oebb.at/en/ is there any way that I can buy just a Eurail seat reservation instead of a full price ticket?More generally, is there any way to purchase mandatory seat reservations to use with a Eurail pass from a national rail line’s own web site?

Hello,is it possible to reserve a sleeping compartment with an interrail pass 1. class? I have one, bute I can only reserve sit or couchette 2. class. At sj.se I only can reserve sit or couchette, for sleeping compartment I have to pay the full price. Can someone help me? I only bought the interrail 1. class because of using sleeping compartments. Can I spontaneously change my mind and get a different ticket for an other train right befor it departs? So if yes, I can change my ticket over the day as often as I want?Thank you for your answer. PS. I am travelling with global pass.

I activated my pass the day I flew out to first destination, thinking I needed to know how to use it etc before getting to a station - but didn’t realise that by doing this it would use a day! I’m now a day short of travel. Can I get this back? I didn’t go on any journeys that day..?

I was thinking about getting the 2 month continuous pass and I was wondering what the situation is in regards to inbound and outbound trips, my country of residence is ireland and I was hoping to be able to come in and out somewhat regularly. I read on the information page that it said you are allowed 1 inbound and 1 outbound trip from your country of residence during travel days and i was wondering does that mean your allowed 1 inbound and 1 outbound trip per travel day or would that be 1 inbound and 1 outbound over the duration of the 2 months. If its the latter I could understand how this would be fine for other countries as you can get a train to the border and then just pay to get back in yourself but the cheapest flights from ireland to mainland europe are in the range of 100 euros for return.

Hello everyone! We need to travel from Lausanne to Venice in one day, preferably arriving in Venice  mid afternoon latest. When I try to book reservations on trains on the Eurail website, it keeps saying there is nothing available for this journey! It brings up the same message for every route into anywhere in Italy on that day! Help! It seems we are stuck in Lausanne! Can we board trains from Lausanne to Milan and on to Venice without making a reservation? I need to be sure we can do this so that I can book accommodation in Venice. We are travelling in June.Thank you in advance

I am trying to book a reservation for the direct train from Berlin to Warsaw. It is saying that this cannot be done on every website I have tried. Does anyone know how I make this booking? Thanks!

My partner and I hold Eurail Global pass and I tried to book a reservation for us via OBB for my journey from Switzerland to Italy. After that we downloaded PDF from OBB website, but seems like my partner’s name is not mentioned on the PDF. Would it cause any problems for us during travel? We have rest of the information correctly mentioned on the PDF, except my partner’s nam

Hi,I’m finishing my student exchange in July in France. I indicated in the pass that I have Polish residence (as stated on my ID) and planning to start using the pass at the end/after my exchange in France. I’m not sure whether I should’ve put France because I will no longer stay officially in France (I have no proof of my residency, just papers from the University) and also it would be an abuse to use the interrail in Poland (where I will live after my exchange). I’m just afraid that due to frequent passing through France where I have friends I may be eventually fined.Should it be a problem? Moreover, could I stay longer in another country (I’m planning to stay one month in Portugal) and use the interrail global pass in another country for a longer period?Arkadiusz

Hello, I will do a roundtrip with Eurail pass 1. class, mainly on Highspeed trains in Germany, France, UK, Italy and Austria. The trip will be End of July. When do you recommend to make seat reservations to be on the safe side, but also to have flexibility as long as possible? 1 month in advance? Or more?

Hi,Me and my girlfriend want to visit Italy this summer. This is our first time using Interrail. We have looked at some travel options and have picked out the best option for us. But before we want to buy our Interrail pass we want to make sure the train options are available at the time. But how can we know this before buying the actual Interrail pass?

Hi, I am a first time eurail user from Australia! Just bought a eurail pass for myself and 3 others. Having a bit of trouble figuring out the best way to make train reservations and link the pass to a journey. I have a few questions I would love answered. Once I link the pass to a trip created on the app, am I then able to edit or unlink the pass?  How can I make reservations for train seats and sleepers for overnight trains without getting charged more than necessary, on an external website? Ie. is there something I can use to put in a code for my pass or something? I have a 7 day in a month pass, how does the eurail pass know the maximum journey cap and calculate it? Is it possible to then for example overbook an extra train/day and then get charged extra (want to avoid this)? I bought tickets for all 4 of us, but we will be on the same journey. What is the best way to go about booking for all of us and using the passes, should we all just input the same trip onto seperate phones and

Hi! My paper pass doesn’t seem to include cover number (capital letter I and 8 digits). Last time I traveled in 2019 I didn’t have this problem, and the cover number was printed where it should be. I managed to book reservations without it (for example Swedish SJ accepted my order number as a pass number) but I would like to have my cover number if I need it later. I’d also like to use RailPlanner app, now I can’t connect my pass to my trip. Can someone help and send me my cover number?

The title says it all. Thanks

The website crashed while I was purchasing my 2x Eurail tickets for the 50% sale! I can see that the UK reseller has extended their sale, but as I live in Australia I can’t purchase of their site (I think). How can I purchase a sale ticket as a resident of Australi if the website keeps crashing:(

When I wanted to add this train to my trip I was shocked that this train is not in mobile RailPlanner. It always says I have to go to Milano Central, but this train goes exactly from Porta Garibaldi to Roma.If I type trip from P. Garibaldi to Roma (on 27.7.2022) there is no train 797.Am I just too fast? Thanks

It doesn’t say that I have used up my inbound/outbound journeys, but I still get the ‘’no travel days left’’ message when I’m trying to book my outbound trip. Any explanation?Edit: In the app it said that it might be because my pass is expired but I literally bought it yesterday and it says in the app that it’s valid from June 10th to August 9th. It’s May.Edit 2: Don’t know what happened, it just magically started working. Issue resolved I guess?

I am trying to book a reservation for a journey from Paris, France to Nice Ville, France, however, due to a technical glitch on the website it won't let me reserve a seat. The reservations are for sure available when I'm not logged into my account. I need a pass cover number but I have a mobile pass, can someone please help me get a pass cover number from my online pass?
