Is it mandatory to plan our trip before? For example, I want to visit England but I don’t want to do a “road trip”, but to be based in London and have some day-trips in other cities. But the problem is that some of the cities are not addable (I can’t add them) to the trip (eg: Bath, Bournemouth) so does it mean that I can’t travel there with the pass?

Hi,are the passes personalized on purchase or can one add the name of the person later?I would like to buy two 1-month passes from the promo today, but the second person isn’t sure she can plan her vacation like I can.If she can’t make it, I might have to find someone else to use it (or I could use it some time later within 11 months). Therefore my question:are passes personalized during checkout?Thank you for your help.-A.

Dear travelers,Regarding the 1or2 month(s) traveling pass.Do all travels have to be from consecutive destination/departure locations? Or is it possible, for instance, to travel by train, book a flight yourself to the other side of Europe, and continue traveling by train?Kind regards,Nino

Does the two-month continuous pass have to be activated on the first of a month? Or can I start the two-month period on any day?

Is it possible the price was on Sunday 451 € for Senior for the first class and today it is higher (541 €)? Thank you for your reply. Linda

I live in UK and have bought a 3month global pass. I realise I only have one outbound and 1 inbound journey to UK. If I go abroad for 5weeks and return home, can I return abroad and carry on using my pass for the remainder of the 3months - as long as I pay my own fare to and from the border? Someone told me once I make my registered inbound trip, I cannot use the pass again.

We are from the United States and are flying into Alicante, Spain in July.  We are spending 1 week in Alicante (plan to visit Madrid and possibly Barcelona), then spending a week in Assisi, Italy (plan to visit Rome, Florence, and maybe Venice).  Seeing today’s special on a 1 month unlimited pass gets me thinking that the Eurail would be easier/ cheaper than rental cars and a flight to Italy.  Any advice is very appreciated!  This is our first time to Europe.

Hello everyone, I got a quick question for you.I bought 1 month continuous global pass for interrail which is valid for 11 month. Can I use the half (14 days) in July and the other half (14 days) in September? And during the time in-between, can I go back to my home country? Or once I activated the ticket and start the journey, I got 30 days to travel? Thanks in advance.

Hi there!I'm planning to buy a 1 month global mobile interrail pass, however, I'm also planning to buy a new smart phone after the purchase of the ticket. Can I use my pass on my new phone before I active it on my former phone? I didn't do it but it's my plan. Thank you in advance.

Can I make multiple journeys from and to one point of departure which is not my place of residence? E.g. After my outboud travel, I would decide to stay in one place and visit nearby cities.

Can i plan one trip to italy and after coming home plan another to elsewhere with the continuing pass? I can't go on travelling for 2 months. I have to decide today of i buy the pass. thanx for answer!

Dear Railers, I want to get a 3-months interrail ticket. However my question is whether  can use it in ANY three months of this year. So for example can I use the month of July, then September and then December? or does it have to be conscetuvie months (e.g. June, July, August).Furthermore i had the question whether i can take any train (e.g., also the ICE train in Germany)Thank you so much for the information! Yours, Levin

I am from the Netherlands and want to go to Scotland this summer and I want to purchase my Interrail-pass today. However, I don't have a passport yet (I will in a few weeks), I just have a national ID-card. Can I enter my ID-number for the Interrail-pass, and bring my ID with me to confirm that it is me? (And of course also bring my passport.)

Hi traveling geeks, I live in The Netherlands, and plan to buy a 3-month pass for my summer tour in Europe, but I don’t really understand the terms on the website. So I’d like to make an example to make the question more visible:Let’s say I want to travel from Amsterdam to Turkey. If I book on the App: Outbound:From: Amsterdam, July 1stTo: Ankara, August 1stInbound: From: Ankara, August 2ndTo: Amsterdam, August 31stBecause it’s really far, there are many possible routes. Does it mean that I can basically travel in any countries on the way as long as I make it in Ankara on August 1st? Do I need to book every single connection beforehand or can I just hop on the trains which doesn’t need reservation?Assuming the following 2 scenarios:1. I want to travel again in September. Is my 3-month pass still valid? Can I book another Outbound/Inbound trip?2. Let’s say there is an emergency when I arrive in Vienna and I had to fly back to Amsterdam. Then I want to resume this trip. Do I have to fly

Hi! The 5th of Juli we would like to interrail trough East-Europe. Unfortunately booking seat reservations isn't possible. Does someone know why it isn't possible? Kind regards,Charlotte

Some trips cannot be booked via the app, but can be booked via the website. For example from Dimitrovgrad (Bul) to Istanbul. Is it possible to add these journeys to the Pass via the website?

Hi.I’m a U.K. citizen looking to buy one of your continuous interrail passes that are currently discounted to celebrate the 50th anniversary. I read somewhere that these passes are only available to EU residents. Is this true? Am I eligible as a British citizen or do I need to purchase a Eurail pass? Thanks, Liam

Hello, looking for advice for our honeymoon in March 2023. We are looking to travel from London to Paris, then Paris to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Berlin and then Berlin back to London. We have hotels currently booked for Paris 22/03 - 26/03Amsterdam 26/03 - 28/03Berlin 28/03 - 01/04We are looking to use the train for the whole trip as not a huge fan of flying and trying to understand if the passes would be worth it in terms of cost, which pass would you choose and how the seat reservations system works. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm planning to travel through Europe by train by using 50% discount that interrail provides. Can I get that discount although I'm not European and my country is not in Europe?

HelloI am hoping for a speedy reply to the following problem as I will be travelling in a few hours. I got my Mobile Pass activated on my smartphone fine a few days ago. I added a trip to the first travel day just fine.It is my second travel day tomorrow (actually today, as I now spent hours over midnight to resolve this, unsuccessfully) and I am unable to add a trip to the travel day. Therefore, my pass remains unusable for my journey in just a few hours. In another post I read to:» go to the "My Trip" section. There you click the + button and then select "Connect a Pass to this trip". «But when I do this, I only get an option to add a Paper Pass but not the Mobile Pass I got registered and visible under MyPass. This happens regardless whether I am offline or online or restart the app or the smartphone. I am pretty much at my wits end and wonder what the conductor will charge me when I can't present a valid ticket. I could do with an answer URGENTLY !

i am singaporaen 68 year old tourist to germany n europe..can i buy the 50% pass.pls helpthanks

How can I buy a senior Global Pass promo ticket now and use it after I turn sixty in August please?

As I mentioned in the title I am a Mexican student living here for 8 months and I have my visa and also a Meldebestätigung document. Would that allow me to use also the Interrail pass? I am not exactly sure what does it mean to be a resident from the EU.

Can you call Interrail if there is a problem?
