We will be a party of four from Canada who will have Global Eurail passes, and plan to travel on a Eurostar from London to Brussels in August.Three of us will begin using our passes in mid-July and the fourth will arrive in London from Canada a few days before we will travel to Belgium. We know that time of year is busy and the number of seats available for 2nd class Eurail pass holders is limited.Must our Eurail passes be activated before we can reserve tickets on the Eurostar?Thank you for your help.

Hi!I plan to go on an interrail trip to the Balkans in September. I would like to visit Belgrade - is there any chance to get there by train from Budapest? And does the train from Belgrade to Sofia run? (sofia is my next direction). Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hi all Is it possible to print out the mobile pass (i.e. to print out the QR code)? I understand that the old paper tickets are no longer an option but, for example, the British mobile passes can actually be printed out and then you just show the ticket inspector the QR code on the piece of paper. It will be for an elderly person of 85 (his last travel trip :-( ) who is not tech savvy at all and he is extremely panicked at the idea of having it all on mobile. I’d really appreciate any insight. Thanks so much!

Hello, I need to book 2 adult tickets for seat reservations from Barcelona Santa - Madrid Atocha Cercanias for the 28th April. It says on the interrail app that it’s book in the station only. Is there any possibility that it can be booked online with any other site?

Sorry if this is a silly question.  We are hoping to Inter rail this summer as a family of four - the reservation fee is showing as 46 euros for the Paris to Barcelona overnighter but it doesn’t specify if that is per person or not.  Just trying to make sure we have all the costs tallied before we proceed- thanks!

Hello everyone, I bought a 10 days within 2 months pass and I want to make sure I understand correctly how to count the 2 months, because I read something that didn’t sound right to me. Let’s say I start my trip on the 20th of August. So since 2 months equal 8 weeks, the last possible travel day would be the 14th of October, right? Thanks in advance for clarifying! :)

I am trying to go from Amsterdam to Berlin and do it overnight w a friend, we are going to travel to Frankfurt first. When booking a seat reservation can you not pick your seat on EUrail website? If not, how do you go about picking your seat together on trains that require a reservation?I have the mobile global flexi pass if that helps.

Hello. We have a global pass and we are trying to travel from Budapest to Belgrade in order to get to Athens. However, we cant find in the app a train from budapest to belgrade. What can be happening? Does the global pass cover this area?  Thanks for your help and pardon me for my english (not native tongue, we are from Spain)

Hola, ¿Alguien que viajara de Viena a Atenas podría contarme como planificaron el viaje? Muchas gracias y un saludo

Is it still to early? (Going 30th May...)I have planned all the trips, paid for the interrail pass and used the my rail planner to plan which trains to book. It passed me onto a different website to book and says for any and all trains for where we are going, no matter the time or day cant be booked. I am getting worried as its getting closer and has been saying this for a while now. This is the message for every single train and there are no trains when I have searched no reservations needed.‘Prices unavailableNo price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.’

I have confirmation email but, this 5 digit pass number dousn't works at sncb online.

Hi guys, how can I book the night train from Napoli Centrale to Palermo Centrale the cheapest way? We want to take the night train at the 7th of June and on the interrail reservation website it is so expensive to make a reservation for this train. We have a one country pass for italy. Do you have any tips on how to do it cheaper?  Thanks!!

My fiancé and I are heading to Switzerland in the middle of July. We’ve read that you can book trains using the Eurail pass that go along the same route as the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St. Moritz, but we can’t seem to find anything. Everything takes us up through Zurich. If we try to book through the Glacier Express website, the price is the same regardless of whether we put in that we have the Eurail pass. It doesn’t seem to be giving us any discount. Any advice?

Bonjour,Je n’arrive pas à activer mon pass, je reçois le message : “go to settings”, ça veut dire paramètres, mais quels paramètre ? normalement je devrais mettre mon ID mais je n’arrive jamais à cette étape.merciMarylise

My daughter and I are travelling on Eurostar but as we have separate passes we can’t choose seats together.  Is there a way we can change this after we’ve made our reservation?

We are a family of six.  We currently have planned a trip for a 5-day pass to Italy for all six of us. It appears that the app will not allow me to link my travel plans to my account.  It almost seems as though I have two separate accounts and I can’t link the two accounts.  I want to reserve seats but the system won’t allow me. Please help link my passes to my travel plans so I can proceed to reserve seats.

Hi there, I’ve booked a 4 Day Global Pass and want to confirm that the following trip is possible using this passing. The trip involves one night train which seemed to confuse the planner as to how many days of travel would be required. I read that if I take a night train directly (without changing trains) between two destinations that this only counts as one day of travel. Can you please confirm that the following trip only requires a four day pass? The trip is as follows:27/06: Sibiu (23:01) → Budapest (8:50)+130/06: Budapest (07:40) -→ Prague (14:42)01/07: Prague (14:25) -→ Berlin (18:35)04/07: Berlin (08:31) -→ Paris (16:54) Kindly,Corey

Hi guys, Soon me and my boyfriend are about to book our seat reservations. However today I already looked up a few trains that require a seat reservations, at least the app says so. But visiting the website and also finding the exact same train things changed. Now the website says there are no seat reservations required. What to believe now?Thank you for your help in advance Marie :)

Hi all, Today I was travelling with my Interrail Global Pass 1st class from Dusseldorf, Germany with Thalys to Paris. My plan was to take the connection to Marseille where I had booked a hotel. When the train manager was checking my ticket, he stucked at my reservation which I did for 1st class Premium via B-Europe. He advised that my reservation is only valid with special abonnement cards which you can buy in France but is NOT valid with Interrail. My reservation shows “Pass Premium” and that’s not valid. That’s the reason he has the right to refuse my ticket and let me pay for a complete new ticket. After talking to his co-worker it would be okay if I take a seat in 2nd class instead.I told him that I never had problems with any reservations in TGV, Eurostar and ICE. But anyway, I felt like I was travelling illegal and the staff was extremely unfriendly. All people were looking at me as I would travel illegally for real - very embarassing and shameful to be honest. I never travelled w

Hi,I'm currently planning my trip from London to Glasgow.  For this train, a reservation is required, but I can't use the reservation tool from Interrail for this reservation. I also tried to make a reservation with ACP rail, but this product is not available in the Netherlands. I searched for other options, but I could not find a website/app where you can only buy a reservation without a ticket (because I already have a Interrail ticket). Does anyone has experience with this?:)

I have to book 7 seats on a train from Bologna to Wien. The interrail website isn’t working and its suggestion is to book the seats directly from OBB’s website. If I book them on OBB’s website how can I connect that reservation to my interrail pass?Thank you.

Hello, I would like to know if I can give my friend's pass to someone else?

I have to book our seats on the train from Bologna to Wien (15/07) but the system says: “Prices temporarily unavailable”.

Hi all! We’ll be traveling next week to the UK from the Netherlands, by Ferry. The itinerary will be first from our home in NL to IJmuiden, take the ferry to Newcastle, and in the UK, travel to Inverness, Edinburgh, and then back to Newcastle to take the ferry back to IJmuiden and then lastly, take the train home. Thus, there are 5 travel days, of which 2 are in our home country. If I understood correctly, this means we can suffice with a 4 day Global Interrail Pass, is this correct? (unfortunately, a 3 day pass does not exist). Alternatively, could we also suffice with a UK pass? Or do these not allow for deduction of outbound/inbound travels? Many thanks already for your reply! Tice
