Hello,Do the Eurail Pass needs to be activated in order to use Bernina Express? Or as long as we hold a Eurail Pass we can use Bernina Express pass with seat reservation? Could someone confirm on this please? Thank you

Hi all,Yesterday I booked my four day in a month interrail pass and was super exited to travel. I use the online pass for the first time and facing now already disappointment. Today I booked my first train reservation for tomorrow from my home country to the UK. I wanted to add this travel day in the App and discovered that already one travel day is taken!! I feel quite said because i have low budget and now one travel day is gone :( I read that this is because i filled yesterday in a hurry the starting date of the pass in for today which mean that today is my first travel day however still sitting on my couch… And you cannot change it on the day itself so the FAQ says… and i am really not a post something in a community person but the do not have any support! Very disappointed in interrail at the moment and very disappointing start of my trip tomorrow..

I am travelling from Dublin to Brussels in one day by getting a ferry to Holyhead and train to London in time to get the Eurostar.  however I am having all story’s of problems.  I put in a start date (the day I am leaving Dublin ) and when I try to book Eurostar it tells me my pass is not valid for that date  I have a mobile pass    On the Thalys site it wanted a number that appears to be only on the paper ticket?I also had trouble on the Thalys site getting it to accept Ireland as my place of residence it would accept United Kingdom  so I’m having trouble all round If anyone has overcome any of these problems I’d really appreciate some help.   Thanks

Hi. I’m hoping somebody will be able to answer a couple of questions about the ‘4 day global pass’ please?Do I have to use all 4 days of the pass? I was hoping to travel on a Saturday and then come back the next day on the Sunday between UK and France, therefore only using 2 days.Secondly, my journey would begin on the Saturday from Birmingham (UK), travelling to Paris. I would need to get a train from Birmingham to London and then the Eurostar from London to Paris. Would the Birmingham to London and London to Paris journeys all be classed as one outgoing journey and therefore covered by the global pass? The return journey would be the same the next day - Paris to London and then London to Birmingham.Sounds a waste of the pass but it actually works out considerably cheaper, but only if I’m allowed to use the 4 day pass for this purpose?

I am trying to make a reservation for a travel from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly and can’t see how I do this without buying a ticket.  I cannot book it via Eurail site and if I go to National Rail or Trainline websites I can’t see how to just reserve a seat.Cana someone let me know how I do this.  Thank you.

Hi All, I have a quick question about the reservations: if I have a Eurail pass, can I purchase and use a seat reservation from the train company's website (ie Deutsche Bahn, Trenitalia, ÖBB, etc) and use that? Or do I have to purchase through Eurail/Interrail?Sorry if this was asked before and I missed it.  Thanks! -Best, MattPS. Also if you know of a discount code to share for my first Eurail pass it would be amazing!

Hi!I would like to buy a global pass cause i will go to morrocco by france and spain.I have few questions:the pass cost 1594 for 5 people per 7 days, but the place reservations aren’t included right? How i can reserved the places? i see some people used global pass on official trains websites...is possibile? To access a train which requires a reservation (and has gates to enter the platform), would you use your interrail pass with the journey loaded onto it to open the gates and then show the reservation on board, or would you use the printed out reservation that has a barcode on it? Thanks.

I want to put a reserved seat train on my trip's Save Journey, but I can't find it.  Can't I get on the reserved train?

I am looking to purchase train tickets for October 2022. I will be traveling from Malaga to Madrid. When I try to purchase tickets now, it doesn’t show me times available past august. When will I be able to purchase tickets for October?

I installed the rail planner app and activate my pass. But every time I try to book a trip it shows something went wrong. I paid the reservartion for a night train that leaves tomorrow but I don’t have the pass QR. please help me!!! A really need urgent help. I send mails but no one’s answer them!!! HELP PLEASE

I'm super confused. I was going to use my Outbound journey today, but I can not add it to my Pass. I have no travel days left, so the mobile pass app marks 4/4  but I still have my inbound/outbound journey, where it marks 0/2 used. I thought the Inbound/Outbound Journey would be independent of my travel days? Can't I use it anymore if I have already used my normal travel days?

Hello! Does anyone have any experience booking night train travel in Sweden with a Eurail pass? My family and I are trying to get from Gothenburg to Kiruna and when we get to the night train portion of the trip we are coming up with major issues. We all have a 1st class Eurail pass. When we try to book on the Eurail website it is only giving the option for a second-class seat, even though on the SJ website is says there are sleeper carriages available. When we try and book directly on the SJ website and put the Eurail pass info in there it is quoting a price that is way above the ‘service fee’ charge and nearly the same price as booking without a Eurail pass at all. Any suggestions?

I have download my pass on my mobile but I bought two more with mine, daughter and wife but how do I show them. How do they get their pass. Its urgent for tomorrow,

Eurail/German Rail pass are available for purchase by NON-European residents, I understand. And I understand that a "resident" means a person who has lived for more than 6 months.　Does "person who has lived for 6 months or more" include not only those who have actually stayed for 6 months or more, BUT ALSO those who have entered into Europe WITH the VISA that allows them to stay for 6 months or more(ex. one year). ?

Hello :)I left my country of residence (from Germany to England) on one day, and returned a week later. In the app, it says I’ve used up 2/4 travel days, and 2/2 Outbound/Inbound days, which makes sense. However, now I want to book two further travel days (from a city within Germany to another city within Germany, not leaving the boarder), yet I get an error when trying to activate the journey saying „no outbound/inbound journeys left“? Seeing as I am not leaving Germany, I don’t understand the message… I tried to contact the support but so far no response… I don’t have too long left with the ticket, so would love to get some feedback… thanks in advance for help!:)all the bestSteffen

Hello,I have read through a few questions here and couldn’t find a clear answer.I came across this on the interrail.eu site:The Self-Service lets you book e-ticket reservations up to 3 hours before its departure. You'll receive an e-ticket which we recommend you print at home. They recommend to print the e-ticket reservations. Now I am wondering if its okay to not print it and if I can use the e-ticket? Has anyone ever struggled with an e-ticket?

Now I don’t know what is happening with the Interrail App, but for 18. April no trips can be added to my pass, although the trips can be planned without errors. Due to this lack I can’t make any pass for this day, what can be make troubles with the train-staff. Yesterday (7 April) it has almost leaded to a sent-off from the train because I couldn’t make the pass for that day (although later on the day it had been solved). The communication went hard, because not all of the conductors of the MÁV can’t speak any foreign-language. I don’t understand why the interrail-app give so much problems.

I tried to buy a Interrail Ticket (3 days within 1 month) for Germany only. But during the ordering-process I can’t confirm my order/pass, because “Germany” is not in the country-List of the “Traveller” I need to add to the pass. How am I able to buy this ticket if I’m a foreigner?

Hi,My wife and I are trying to use our global pass to book seat reservations between Nice and Cinque Terra in September with Trenitalia.  I see that seats only seem to be released 2 months ahead (June 10th at the moment) but is there any exact timelines on when Trenitalia release their seats for this route?  Is it possible to get notifications when seats reservations are released?

Hello! I have purchased the global pass with 15 travel days. I am confused as to which trains I will need to pay a fee. Some trains, like a train from Paris Gare De Lyon to Geneve require an additional supplement, which I assume is an extra fee. Others list "seat reservations" like a train from London St Pancras to Paris Nord. With the global pass do we need to pay extra for a train with seat reservations or just for trains that say "supplement required"?

im going to paris to begin a month long trip around europe. can i get a train from torquay, my hometown, to london to begin the journey free on my interrail pass

So far in trying to access a train on April 8th from Florence to Venice, I’m not able to access the 7am train I want nor the Venice Santa Lucia station. Is this normal.I would never have bought the Eurail pass had I known it was so restricted and there’s no way to know that without entering into the app and attempting to make reservations. Are Eurail passes super restricted in Italy on the high speed trains and routes?

Currently trying to book a ticket from Taormina-Giardini to Napoli Centrale. On the app, it says I need a reservation but I can purchase a second class ticket for 3 euros. When I tap on the button to buy those tickets, it redirects me to the eurail website within the app where I see the 3 euro ticket. However, it doesn’t give me the option to purchase the ticket anywhere. When I go to the eurail website in browser, both on phone and pc, I login in and put all the same info in. The same ticket only comes up for over 100 euro. Can’t purchase this rate

Hello Team.I purchased the pass on 10th Apr and haven't received any communication so far. Tried reaching out multiple times over mail, chatbot, and also the customer service link from another thread. Even login doesn't work, neither does the reset password link.I need to travel today evening and need extremely urgent help with this. Could you please look into this at the earliest?
