Solved

hello I tried to organize a trip with the app and my pass but I hadn't added my boyfriend's pass and I couldn't add it after the trip was created! However, I have tried all possibilities. So I canceled this trip on the app and removed my pass to start all over again and add our two passes from the start. I managed to add both passes and connect our two trips on the app. on the other hand on the site to reserve the seats in the trains and to reserve the tickets there is still the date when I bought the pass and not the start date of our trip.we therefore cannot book tickets on the site because the dates of our trip in the application do not correspond to the start date which is indicated on the site.I do not understand the application and the site are not at all in agreementhow can I change the date of my trip on the site and above all is it possible thanksits super complicated to organize and book ! the website is not well done at all

Good evening, I and a friend have activated our interrail passes on an ipad when planning our jouney today. Obviously this is inconvenient as we may not take this with us. We would like you to find a way so that we can have our passes on our respective phones. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience

For my Ticket, I chose the Mobile Pass on the Interrail App.Now I was wondering if it‘s possible to get the Paper Pass too.Because I was kind of afraid to always have to rely on the battery of my phone. Is ist possible to request a Paper Pass for my ticket if i already have the Mobile one?

I plan to make my reservations during my trip. How do I prove to the ticket inspectors that my reservation has been made, is the ticket available on the application or do I have to print it out?my trip will be to Romania Hungary Austria

Hi All!I bought a 1st class interrail ticket. I’m going to travel in Spain and Portugal. There seem to be several“classes” on Spanish trains: Billete  Basico (standard seat), Billete Elige (standard seat or Confort XL)or Billete Premium (Confort XL).Which class and seat am I entitled to with my 1st class interrail ticket? The seat reservation (only available at stations) seems to cost 23,50 euros on AVE and ALVIA trains. And the same question for Portugal with AP and IC trains.Looking forward to your replies.CheersKimmo from Finland

Hello, I'm on the train right now! Customer services closed, my global pass says I'm ready to travel, I keep on tapping frantically on the journeys on my trip, they're not uploading. What am I missing out??

Hey,On my next coming Interrail trip I'd to use the nighttrain between Zagreb and Zürich. But I've seen in the Rail Planner App and also in the DB Navigator, that this train travels between Salzburg and Innsbruk through Germany.I'm from Germany, so I don't know if I have to use my In- and my Outbound journey for this train or does a specific rule apply on this specific route, because I have seen that this train and also all the other trains don't stop in Germany. Thank you :)

I need a refund. I cannot use my pass because I can’t login. Password reset does not work. We have had to buy all new tickets for our trip, doubling what we have spent so we need a full refund ASAP. Worst customer service I’ve ever had. 2 weeks from email sent and still no answer.

Me and my friend have the 2 month global flexi pass. We r trying to go from Malaga to barcelona. We had to book tickets in a station the lady at the station said we could book 1st class tickets despite us having 2nd class tickets as they were the only ones left. R we okay to reserve 1st class even though we have 2nd class passes?

After installing 23.0.1 my trip has been without problem until today, the fifth travel day. Suddenly my trip was no longer connected to a pass. I added it again, but then the trip connected was blank and without journeys. My old trip, with the passed and remaining journeys was unconnected.I have managed to add the journeys I am on right now to the new trip. But how do I get the old trip connected again?

Hello, I’m an international student from Russia and I have a long term visa ( more than 90 days but less than a year) can I buy a pass interrial global?

Hey it says for some trains that the seat is included. You can buy a reservation if you like but it’s not required. Plus this is a popular train. The train here is the ICE 121 Amsterdam to Duisburg HBF then further to Berlin HBF, I wanted to know if I don’t buy a reservation and when I go to board the train if it’s full, what will I do and how will I know if it’s full or not and does it normally happen that there won’t even be a single seat available. Please let me knowThanks

Is Venice Mestre the main station? Would I be able to use the interrail pass from there to Rome Termini?

Hi! I am a bit unsure as to whether I should buy a Eurail ticket or an Interrail ticket. I'm currently waiting for a european passport, but I have permament residency in Finland.

I used one of my inbound/outbound journeys to go from Germany to Amsterdam. On the first train I had no trouble, but on the second one, the ticket inspector told me my pass wasn't valid in Germany and that I had to buy a ticket to the border, which I eventually did because I didn't want to get kicked off the train. But after checking afterwards I realised I was actually in the right. Do you have any tips for me on how to get reimbursed for the extra ticket?

Hallo iedereen, ik heb een interrail pas voor 5 dagen. Inmiddels heb ik 2 dagen gereisd. nu wil ik de 3e dag toevoegen maar dit lukt mij niet. kan iemand mij daarbij helpen?

Hi , I have a couple of questions about making seat reservations. We are travelling with four people and we all have a mobile pass. I bought the mobile passes for all four. Should one of us make a seat reservation for all four? Do we sit next to each other in this case? Can we make reservations via the interrail website with a mobile pass?

Is there a train from Ljubljana that goes straight into Venice Santa Lucia station and is it included in the interrailing pass? Or, if I were to stay in Venice Mestre how much roughly is a return train into Venice Santa Lucia. Are there any 1-2 day travel passes that will get me into main Venice and back for cheap? Thanks :)

I need to activate my mobile pass on a new device, the phone it was activated on is broken and I can't access it to deactivate my pass. I am travelling on Monday morning and although I have raised this with the service desk, it doesn't seem like I can rely on a response before I begin my journey. Is there any other way to contact Eurail?

Hello, my wife and I are planning a trip from Valencia Spain to Berlin Germany this summer. The plan is to try and get the most straight forward journey to Berlin, and the easiest way seems to be to take some kind of a night train for some of the journey since it is 36+ hours trip. The trouble is the Rail Planner app doesn’t seem to show any night trains either currently or over the summer when our trip is. Does anyone know if there is any night trains that might be available or any alternate way to search for these types of trains? Thanks!

Hi!Do you have to make reservations for the ICE 9574 between Karlsruhe and Strasbourg? The interrail.eu (or anyone else) does not let me book Karlsruhe-Paris although it lets me book Strasbourg-Paris on the same train… After being in contact over the phone with SNCF I know that there should still be interrail-tickets available…

Hi, Yesterday I encountered an error with activating travel days, which resulted in me having to reinstall the rail planner app.Now I find myself in a situation where I require help reactivating my pass, as I need to go home (to Denmark from the Netherlands) in a few days.I have already contacted support but fear that my pass won't be reactivated in time resulting in me being stuck here..

Have an ongoing issue raised with interrail for one week and still no solution so wanted to reach out to the community. My first travel day is somehow showing as day 1 and day 2 on my pass screen in the iOS app. I am able to create my full 7 travel days in trip planner, but when I go to the pass page to show the ticket, it cannot view the 7th day as it is showing day 6 as day 7 (due to showing day 1 as both day 1 and 2).  Has any had this issue or have any ideas how to solve it? Currently travelling but seemingly not receiving a prioritised fix. Based on the sheer volume of issues on this forum, it seems the app is not really fit for purpose. thanks in advance!

Hi, I am planning on travelling from Stockholm to Berlin, and I found a direct night train in the Rail planner app. However, when trying to book seat reservation, the train I found in the app does not exist anywhere on the interrail website. Does this mean I have to find another train?I can still find the train in question on other sites, but then I am unable to use my interrail pass for that route. Is it possible to book only the reservation on external sites? Thanks
