Solved

Hi!I'm planning a trip to Spain and Portugal with interrail in July/August. I saw as answer to another question that there are currently no trains between Lisbon and Madrid. Does anyone know why and how long that's gonna be (if it's still the case in July/August). That would be super helpful, thanks!Julia

As many others, I strongly need my pass cover number for a seat reservation and I’m wonderung, why interrail doesn’t send this number by default together with be billing mail?

Hey there,I already have contacted the customer support, but in the email they said that they would get back within 2 days :/Here is the problem: I have booked two reservations for my trip that is tomorrow, hence the urgency of the problem. The payment worked well and I received an E-mail with the payment confirmation but NO E-Ticket.…I really don't know what to do as I have to depart tomorrow...

Hi Interrailers,I have a question. How can I make a seat reservation for the train between Lyon and Barcelona? I am based in Amsterdam and it is for the 15th of April. I have already read a lot of tips, like calling the DB, NMBS, Renfe and SNCF. I have spoken to them all and no one can help me so I hope one of you had the golden tip!Last option is to ask a friend of mine who lives in France to book it for me, but is that an option? Can someone else buy it for me and send it by post?

I’m an inter-railing rookie.  I am travelling in a family group of five in August.  Our kids are older and hence will have their mobile pass on their own phones.  Can I make seat reservations for the five us of us to sit together and then pass the reservation details onto them?I will buy all the mobile passes and then send onto them.Hope this makes sense.  Thanks in advance

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help. I am flying from Rome to Barcelona to save travel days. Can I add a journey when i land in barcelona without joining it to Rome. I planned on doing my route to Rome and then just starting again in Barcelona - is this possible? Or will I need to start another “Trip” in the app and start there?

Good morning, I wanted to ask if it was possible to leave a group traveler to become a solo traveler because our interests did not match anymore. I wanted to ask if I could do a process to become a solo traveler. Thank you for your answers,Have a great day,Cha.

I’m planning to travel from Barcelona to Nimes on 22 August.  What is the earliest date I can make the seat reservation?

Going from England to Belgium, will show Passenger locator form and vac certificate, going to 6 more countries, will I have to provide Passenger locator form for each country or am I free to travel after leaving Belgium .   Will have a First class pass, on Eurostar they do not have First class, only Standard, Standard Premier, and Business Premier, which class will I have for seat reservation ?                               Can I pay for pass in UK pounds or does it have to be in Euros ?       Is there a QR  code on a paper pass to use on stations which have automatic ticket barriers , especially in the UK .  Thank you .

Hello. I have an urgent question/issue. My Eurail app keeps saying that "It looks like you are offline. Go online to see your passes", when I try to view my pass (QR code). The internet on my phone is working fine (both WiFi and mobile data). I have restarted the app, restarted my phone, disabled the app and enabled it, but still getting the same error when trying to access my pass. Can anyone help?

Hello, I have a problem because I really need to do some reservations for next week, but the reservation tool on the website doesn't work and I can't do it in the app as well. And I can't do it on any other website nor will I have the time to buy it at the station. The website just does not load or closes itself again and again when I try to write the directions. Can you help me please! It is urgent

Hey! I booked 3 seats on the website, did the payment, and it’s been a few hours and nothing appears on my reservations… I tried sending an email to customerservice@interrail.eu and it didn’t work.. Any ideas how to solve this? Thank you very much and any help is appreciated.

I’ve finally made my itinerary and ready to book and start travel on Tuesday but well several things:The colors are hard to see on iPhone Chat program (on iPhone) hides the “X” to close it out because it covers almost the entire screen and you just can’t log out Some links do not work like I mentioned here: And lastly, the form to purchase has issues as I am not able to buy a pass. What gives people? Here is the error I get when I try to purchase a pass:  can you imagine what other heads I may encounter while I travel gosh kind of scary and getting high Anxiety over all, gosh oh and did I mentioned that I just finished planning my itinerary? oh and I went to Frankfurt main train station and the DB office (service center) offer “zero” “0” support for eurail.com. Even though the links (https://www.bahn.com/en/offers/passes/eurail-pass) from DB itself sends you to eurail.com (funny right)?

Is the reservation fee paid per seat or per group? For example, if I were to book a 4-berth couchette, is the price shown per berth or is it for all 4 berths?

hi! someone know why the tool to reservate the seat is disappeared on the website? you have the same problem?

Hello ! Hope you're doing great ! I've just booked my first interrail pass ! it was recommended to me because i'm used to travel a lot by train and in that case all the time between 2 stations Bruxelles-midi (Belgium - my home country) and Lyon Part-Dieu (France) the country in which my girlfriend lives in ! So with the recommandation of an agent in France I took the 2 months pass (with 10 trips), i activated my account just a few moments ago and when i want to book a trip between Bruxelles and Lyon it says that it needs to be an inbound/outbound trip and I only have 2 of those instead of the 10.Is that normal did i miss understood something in the pass ? if I did can you help me about it 🙂 ? Many thanks in advance and wish you a great evening ! FrancoisP

Hello, I am from Paris. I am going to London then Liverpool from March 26th to March 28th. As I used my outbound and inbound journeys, I was wondering if it was possible to travel in my own country (France) and use my interrail pass in April (my pass is valid from March 26th to April 25th) ? Or can i only travel in my own country between my outbound et inbound journey ? I can book tickets on the interrail website for a round trip in France from April 14th to April the 17th but can I be sure that I’ll be travelling in good standings ?  Thank you in advance for your help,  Lucy

Hey Interrailers,I am planning to do an Europe Trip with roughly this route: Berlin-Vienna-Prague-Budapest-Ljubljana-Florence-Rome-Naples-Nicce-Barcelona-Paris-Amsterdam-CopenhagenI have two questions concerning my Interrail Trip:The first one is about reservations. I am planning to do the trip during March to May and I am pretty sure that it won´t be such a big issue to make reservations for various trains spontaneously e.g. at the train stations (mainly Italy, Spain and France as reservations are most of the time obligatory in these countries). As I a not travelling during summer, it is possbile to book reservations spontaneously as trains are not that busy during off-season/spring am I right? Nevertheless, I  have read a lot about the problem that sometimes reservartions need to be printed out and this would be quite difficult to do if you are already in another country. Sadly, I found no answer to that question:)The second one is about the outbound/inbound rule: I planned to visit

Before I buy a 4 day pass to use in one month, how can I make sure that the trains I need are available. Travelling only in France. Thanks!

I’m concerned about the connections between Paris-Lucern-Zermatt-Milan-Venice. It’s multiple countries, trains and connections. I haven’t purchased our Eurail yet, plan to soon, but will I need to book each section AND pay the reservation fee for each leg of the trip? We will be staying one night in Lucern and 2 nights in Zermatt. I’m really excited about taking the Glacier Express for the Zermatt to Brig section then on to Milan and Venice. Any advise & tips would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I can't find any Irish destination on the Interrail Planner App. But as far as I know is Ireland part of the Interrail network. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

I am planning a trip to Switzerland and France in March. Fares listed on website state they are for Summer Travel: buy now and travel later. Does March qualify as summer?

Hello, I am trying to reserve 4 train tickets for the TGV 9702 TGV INOUI from Barcelona-Sants to Paris Gare de Lyon on the 2. of August at 10:00 am. I think these reservations are only available as paper tickets. If I try to make the reservation on the eurrail/interrail website it tells me that the amount of available seats is unknown. How can I reserve seats, if the website doesn't know how many seats there are? Also I read on a different page that reservations for Spain can only be done at train stations, so how is it possible to do one on the website? I am very confused and would be grateful for some help.

Beste Interrail community, even een praktische vraag.
