On DB when you reserve a ticket, how do they know that you have a eurail pass?I want to reserve Zurich to Munich but it’s very expensive

HelloFirst of all I would like to know if there is a phone server. 1. How can we know that the reservation has been validated? Is it when the seat reservation fee has been paid, or just when the trip has been entered in the application and in the pass?2. When do I have to pay to reserve the seats?3. And once paid, is it modifiable and/or cancellable?4. I have seen that on your site for seat reservations, for some routes it is impossible to reserve (e.g. for Spain, or when there is an error message "No fare has been found for this connection. Please perform a new search or find another reservation method"). What should I do in this case?5. Also, sometimes it says "Seat availability unknown", what does this mean?6. How can I get two passengers to sit next to each other on the train, knowing that both passes are registered on the app on two different phones? Thank you in advance.

I want to travel from Germany to Italy. Do I have to add Countries inbetween (for instance Switzerland) to the pass?

I will be moving the the UK on a tier 5 mobility visa - will I be able to buy interrail as my partner is a UK citizen and we will obviously want to book together. Or would I have to get a eurorail ticket ?

How can I buy Interrail ticketfor my children? I already have one, and the system doesn't allow me to buy ONLY for kids. Is there any way?

Hello, My boyfriend and I are looking for a French person who did the Eurail experience and could help us with our questions. Thanks a lot

Hello,Does anyone know why there isn't a night train between Madrid and Porto? I tought there was one. But I can't find it anymore in the InteraillApp.

Hi All! My family are planning to travel from Dubai to Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague from 30 April-14 May. Please advise what’s the best way to travel from Brussels to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Berlin & Berlin to Prague. Which train to book and do we need to purchase it in advance?  Would you also be kind to share your itinerary and tips for those who have visited those places?  Thank you all so much and stay safe!

Hi,I tried to buy an Interrail Eurail pass (Interrail Passen: verken Europa per trein! | Interrail.eu) for me and my friend a couple of minutes ago. I went to pay with Ideal, finished the entire thing and then got an error. (Something with ‘failed’ and ‘contact customer service’). However on Eurail's site I can't find any form of customer service except for an automatic bot that fails to answer anything at all. (sorry bot)The 370 euros have been withdrawn from my bank account, but I haven't received the confirmation e-mail nor does my account display my pass when I log in. Does anyone know where I can get my money back, or has this happened to anyone else?

Good afternoon! Me and my friends are planning a trip from Amsterdam to Thessaloniki for the coming April. We wanted to travel via Munich, Budapest and Belgrade. Up until Budapest, we can plan our trip via this website. However, when we want to check for trains from Budapest to either Belgrade or Thessaloniki, nothing comes up on the travel planner.Neither do I see Serbia in the list of exceptions on the website.I was therefore wondering whether there is any reason why we cannot find trains (in April) from Budapest to either Belgrade or Thessaloniki.Thank you in advance.

Hello! My daughter is going to join Interrail first class this summer. She got two tickets to her 18th birthday but now we have a problem. Her friend who will be with her only has time for three weeks - so is it possible to change the ticket to another person for one week . so my daughter has the possibility to join four weeks? Thanks in advance

Hi, i’m asking these question for the Interrail pass for my partner.  The pass condition stated that “The Interrail Global Pass is valid for travel in your country of residence during one outbound journey and one inbound journey that occur during travel days at any point in your trip” This mean the pass will have 1 inbound & 1 outbound entitlement of the 4 days pass that i’m intending to buy? May i know if it is necessary to use the 1 inbound & 1 inbound ? As my travel itinerary would be Spain flying into London (21st) London to Germany (train 23th) Germany to Paris (train x2 27 & 28th) Paris to Spain  (train 31th)  So technically speaking i will be using only 1 inbound will that be alright ?

I’m thinking of getting the 10 days in 2 months pass so would the route Berlin- Brussels- paris- Zurich- bled- Zagreb- Budapest- Bratislava- Vienna- krakow- Prague be within the 10 travel day allowance? Or do train connections in one journey take up your travel day? For example, Budapest-Bratislava with 3 change overs, do the change overs come in with the 1 travel day or do they count as separate journeys?

I have already purchased a 2nd class rail pass but have later decided to upgrade to a 1st class. Is this doable with an already purchased pass? And if so how do I do that?

Hi there, I’ve been checking out buses departing from Thessaloniki to Skopje and on the Balkanviator website I found 3 buses daily. However, I could not find any more information about which bus station these would be departing from, I did try contacting the bus companies via email, but as expected didn’t hear back.Does anyone know which bus station(s) these would likely be departing from? https://www.balkanviator.com/en/bus-timetables/thessaloniki-gre/skopje-mkd/06.07.2022 Thanks,Alexia

Hi there, I’ve downloaded the app, bought my ticket and planned my route myself but I can’t figure out what to do next with the app?when do I activate my ticket? when should I buy my seat Reservation and how do I use the ticket? also how does covid affect inter railing if we are crossing boarders on a train?  thanks

Hello everyone I am travelling with my sister to Liverpool from London on March 26th. We wanted to book our seats but it says “You can't book this connection through our self-service system. Please find an alternative way to book.”. The only solution seems to be buying tickets directly at the train station the day of the departure. Can we be sure that there will still be any seats left on the D-day ? Won’t prices be higher ? or do we have to make the reservation on an other website and therefore not use the interrail pass ? Thank you in advance for your help :) Have a nice day Lucy

Hi, I'm new here and just want to confirm I understood the conditions for the global pass correctly :) I am planning a trip starting from Germany. First, I want to travel to London, then to Scotland and then back to Germany.1)Is it correct that I can use the 4 days within 1 month Global pass for that trip? 2) how long before the start of my trip do I have to purchase the pass? 3) when do I have to decide which train I am going to take exactly? 4) i read that for the Eurostar you additionally have to make a reservation which costs extra. Does that mean you always have to make a reservation when traveling from Germany to London and back or is there any other way or another train that goes from Germany to London, where you do not need a reservation ?  Thank you so much for your help!!

Hello,I am addressing you with a request for a group of 40 people on the route Split - Istanbul - Split. We need an offer for this trip.We should be in Istanbul from August 27th to August 31st.

How does the train get from Florence to Venice? Does it take you to the island or the mainland. I’m booking a hostel on the island and don’t want to arrive and find myself on the main land. Similarly does the train leave from the island as well?

Hello, normally I would contact customer service, but there isn't one. Just cruel. Maybe you can help me. I had to book a ticket through Austria "ÖBB" because it was not bookable. That worked wonderfully and I have the e-ticket. But how do I add the seat reservation to the portal? Thanks very much.
