Solved

Hi, I am planning to go interrailing for three months, but I don't have a plan on where to go exactly. So I wanted to just make reservations as I go. I was wondering however how that would work with the physical reservations that you get in the post. Since I won't have an address because I'm traveling and I won't be in the same place for very long I was wondering how that works. Thank you, David

I do not know how to make seat reservations using the Rail Planner app

Hi, I am planning to go from Cambridge, England til Dublin, Ireland - but Dublin is missing from the Rail Planner App. The problem is not just that there are no routes going between these two cities, but that I cannot even choose Dublin as a destination. What does this mean?

Good afternoon. Today i’m planning my summer trip with some friends, using our interrail pass, and we have a big doubt about something we are thinking to do. The question is pretty simple. If we take a train before the day ends, let’s say, at 23 hours, and we arrive into our destination at 6 hours of the next day, to say an example, will we be wasting two days of the pass? Or on the other side it’s only taken into account the date in which you take the train at first. Thank you very much.

HelloMe and my friend are going to sail from Bari to Patras the 2. of June 2022. We are holders of a interrail  2. class global pass. I have read on interrail‘s website that we with this interrail pass are able to get free deck passage when traveling with Superfast ferries. But when I try to book our journey online at their website I’m not able to choose the category “ interrail global pass 2. class” and therefor I can’t get any discount. Can you help me? How do I book trickets frem Bari to Patras?

Good evening Anyome knkw if there is a train from Banja Luka to Sarajevo?https://www.seat61.com/trains-and-routes/zagreb-to-sarajevo-by-train.htmSeat61 say yes, but the on the websites of the regional operators is written nothing about this train :/

Hi,I bought a Global Pass, but now I'm trying to book seat reservations (some of the trains say it's mandatory) I'm being charged for Every train I try to make a seat reservation. I'm talking about +8 to +38 Eur, just for booking a seat. It's this ok? Aren't there any options of reservation without being charged? My route is: Barcelona to Paris, Paris to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Berlin, Berlin to Rome.  Also, I don't understand why I cannot book a train from Barcelona to Paris. It says go to station, but I'm in Argentina... And I need to book it in advance. Could someone help me? :( Thank you!

How can I move from Tallinn to Helsinki? And how can I move from Helsinki to Trondheim?

Hi all! I had a question regarding the night train from Budapest to Krakow. We are currently looking at making a reservation for January 30, but it says it can only come with registered mail. However, we are already on the journey, so we were wondering how this works, and if you can receive the ticket by mail or E-voucher in your app? Also, can you book a reservation for two so you are seated next to each other? Or what is the double sleeper? Thanks!

So I have a stupid question, I am traveling through Europe from June 13 Until probably around it 13th of July. I was planning on getting a one month pass for seven days I could travel as I have a general idea of where I’m going to be. Am I allowed to start one month pass in between months for example activate it on the 13th of June and still have it until July 13 Or do I need a two month pass if the pass starts on the first of the month?

I have purchased the Global Pass. I believe some of the countries are covered for domestic transport, as stipulated accordingly. I wonder which ticket to use in case prompted to show a ticket in trams or buses?

What is the best way to travel from Stockholm to Tallinn? (Most comfortabel, cheap). Maybe through Helsinki? Or through Riga? Any advise is most welcome!

Hi! I need to go from Basel ssb to Hamburg hbf but when I looked at my reservation I realised that I had only booked my reservation to Hamburg Harburg. How can I redo my reservation to include the missing part of the journey too?

Hi ! I am wondering if i purchase a global interrail 3 month pass does it mean i have up to 3 months worth of days to use it in when ever or throughout a block of 3 months? Would this also cover the Greek islands? As I want to interrail from the UK to Kos

Hello!Do i have to order anything else if I already have the pass? Or can I just walk on any train in the “system”? I know I will need reservations on some trains. Let's say I am traveling from Milan to Venice and there is no need for a reservation. Can I just walk on the train with my pass without ordering or confirming anything else beforehand? Thanks!

Hello, I have a question that I wasn't able to find an answer to. What should I do, if Interrail planner can't find a connection I know exists? For example: I'd like to visit Spain and travel by high-speed train from Madrid to Ourense, Galicia. I looked for a journey in 3 weeks from now. On Renfe (Spanish railways) website I can see numerous high-speed trains. However, if I search for high-speed connection on Interrail on the same date, there aren't any (it just shows a couple of long, 12 hour trips, rather than a 3 hour one). Now, I want to get the 7 day travel pass by DiscoverEU but I'm worried I won't be able to use it where I need to because of this problem.

So, I am traveling from Stuttgart to Barcelona on the 31st of January. Here are the trains I use. For the first two, I already made the reservations online. But the last one (Lyon-Barcelona) I can only book as a paper reservation, but It won't arrive until the 31st.I already went to the traveling agency of Deutsche Bahn, but they told me to book this train online. What can I do here? Can I buy a reservation at the train station in Lyon, on the day of departure?Or how I can get into contact with renfe or sncf for this case?Thank you in advance :)

Hi all, my boyfriend and I made a reservation for a nighttrain from Berlin to Budapest-Keleti. When I download the ticket it is one ticket which says '’02 seats'’ but only my name is on it. Is it correct that you get 1 ticket for 2 people? We never made a reservation before so I want to double check everything. Btw: we checked the invoice and we did pay for the both of us. Thanks in advance!

I have reserved seats no tickets on trains in Germany on DBs platform. My global pass will work as the ticket correct? I'm specifically going Frankfurt to Munich, then onward Munich to Vienna. Normally I could just book the direct ice train. But due to striking tomorrow in Germany I need to do a more convoluted way, and I need confirm seats, because there is a risk I will not get on otherwise. The train tickets are currently around $400, so that's why I need to know if the pass is going to work as my ticket.

Hello,  I wanted to start travelling the 30th of january. Now I see I activated my pass the first of january by accident. I didn’t add a journey neither I travelled. I wasnt aware that my pass already was activated. So if I understand it well, My pass will be expired before I even start to travel and I will lose the money. I tought the pass would start from the moment you add your first journey… can you please help me? thanks a lot. Greetings

Title. Since Brexit happened and all, we’re not sure if we can travel through there. 😅

Hello, after a lot of back and forth, my partner and I have decided to go on a vacation trip to Italy with Interrail. However, we encountered a question. We will take the global pass, since the journey from Austria is included. Is the journey valid from our home station (Amstetten) or from the station (Salzburg) where our train goes to Italy?

Hi, my daughters and I will be traveling europe july 1-17 2022 and planning to use eurail. I have a couple of questions. What is the difference between 1st class and 2nd and if 1st isn't available can we still use our pass for a 2nd class seat? What is the best city to start in to get places quicker? We originally were going to start in Porto and it seems trains from there to paris will take a very long time and we would lose exploring days for travel. Are we able to pay the difference for a sleeper train if we are traveling overnight? how does that work?

Hiya! so my partner and I are planning our travelling and were looking to get the 3 month global pass. however when I was looking at the train routes to see how long they would take a few trains were coming up as times unavailable. for example the Lisbon to Madrid service has no trains running at first I thought it was because of how in advance I was looking to book (between September 2022 - mid November 2022) but I checked other services that were available in the start of September to see if they could be booked in mid November and they could. I wasn’t sure why these trains weren't available and couldn’t find an answer anywhere online so hopefully someone can answer and help out! The trains and dates that came up as unavailable were:Lisbon to Madrid 11/09/22 Rome to Bari 12/10/22 Igoumenitsa  to Patras 30/10/22 Patras to Athens 03/11/22If someone knows the answer to this it would be greatly appreciated! :)
