Solved

I am organzing a group trip for 5 where two people are starting starting before three of us and then heading out earlier. Two will be traveling from Ediburgh to London. Then all five of us are traveling London to Paris. Then Paris to Slazburg. After 5 days we will all be traveling to Interlaken. After 5 days the same two will be traveling to Geneva. Three days later the other three of us are traveling to Zurich. What is the easiest way to be able to make the reservations for when all fice of us are traveling togther? It sounds like people have had trouble with that. Should I purchase all the passes so I can book the group travel? If so how easy will it be for the two that are traveling (partly) separately to make thier own reservations? And should we go with the electronic passes or the paper passes?I arranged travel for a group about 5 years ago but they were moslty minors and I went through Swiss Travel Centre so I did not make the reservations myself. Any help would be greatly apprecia

Hi, I have a question about the cancellation. My train from Zurich direct to Paris is cancelled by SNCF. I have global pass so I only booked the seat reservation originally.I tried to cancel the reservation and get the refund on Eurail website. However, it showed that I can only get 30 euros back. ( The reservation costed 35 euros)Is it possible that I get the full refund? If it is possible, how can I apply for it?

Hi, I have a question.i bought global pass for 4 days/1 month. I traveled 2 days and today im on the train. I want to mark today as 3rd day. However, as it is shown in the screenshot, i just have 1 day left (3/4), which is not true because i have not marked today as 3rd day yet. Im afraid if i mark it now, the system will deduct my last day (4th) which I will use to go back to Germany. Can you see and instruct me? Thanks

Hello!I am planning to visit Berlin, Croatia, Italy and France next year. I assume I need a passport for this, but what about passport control? Is it like in airports where they check your stuff at the counter and at the security? I am also going by boat to Croatia, departing from Italy. Does anyone know how and if they will check my passport at the port?

Hey!I want to cancel a train with a sera reservation that I have booked on interrail website. My ticket says that it is refundable but on the interrail website when I want to delete it it says “not refundable”Is it normal? “Not refundable” is just for the booking fee ? Thanks !

Hi, So I’m going travelling this summer and from June I’ll be with a friend around Athens and the Cyclades and then going to Bari going: Athens - Paros - Ios - Santorini - Bari (I understand there isn't a direct ferry from Santorini to Bari) My question is whether any of the following options are recommended:Getting either a 4 or 6 day greek islands pass not getting a pass and booking the trips now through blue star ferries or emailing ahead to reserve waiting until I'm there and then buying them at the portI usually like to be organised and I’m really trying to keep costs down without compromising too much of the trip, if anyone has any suggestions for how I should approach this or any additional help on the subject area, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey guys, me and my friend vici got two interrail tickets (4 days within a month). We just took the Nighttrain from Narvik to Stockholm yesterday. But the train got four hours late and so we couldn‘t get our trains back to germany. Now we must take a train at 17:18 and will arrive tomorrow in the morning instead of tonight. The problem is, that our tickets won‘t work for the last two stops. Are there any solutions for problems like that?Thank you

Hey,I have a question concerning the e-ticket of a mobile pass, for a continuous Global Pass.I was wondering, how spontaneously can I decide on a destination and time, is it possible to set and change these even during my travel day? Assuming my intended trains don't need reservations of course. So, for example if I travel within Germany and on a given day I want to go Hamburg — Berlin, and I know that on the same day I also want to go from Berlin to Hannover, but I don't know when beforehand. So, can I freely decide on the exact train just shortly before its departure and edit my trip and ticket during the day? Or does everything have to be set in advance the day before?I hope I'm not double asking this question. But as the FAQ said "Remember, each travel day has a separate ticket, so if you’re continuing your journey the following day, you’ll show a different ticket." I was wondering if it was possible to make changes during the day.Thank you!

My question is , ¿does the resident count where you actually live or where your passport is from? We live in Mexico but have European passports. What Pass do I have to by Eurrail or Interrail?? We want do travel from Paris to Viena and than to Madrid. I appreciate your comments.

hi, I was just wondering if the interrail pass is able to be used for trains and buses within a country that dont count as a travelling day?

Hi all -I know Freccialink buses in Italy are included in the pass coverage as I’ve seen it mentioned in a Product Information circulatory brochure, but does anyone have any idea what they cost to reserve? Are they included in the €10 reservations for the Frecce trains with which they connect, or do they cost an extra €10 on top of that (or some other amount)?Any help very gratefully received indeed, and and a happy new year to you :-)

Hello, I lost my old phone with my 10-day Mobile Pass registered on it. I was supposed to start using it on January 2nd, but when trying on my new phone could not register it. I have not yet used it and want to start traveling tomorrow. So I need a refund on my old Mobile Pass. I will buy a new Eurail Pass to start traveling tomorrow so my old pass will not be of use to me. Given I NEVER used it and started to request my special case since the day before the original “start date”, I am in position to request a full refund (also have the 100% refund insurance). Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone, I'm planning to go on visit Europe by train, I'd like to go from Paris to Dublin taking a ferry. The ferry from Cherbourg (France) should dock in Rosslare's port (Irland), but then I can't find a train to Dublin from there in the rail planner app. I've never done this kind of trip and I'd really like to visit Ireland, but I can't figure out how to do it, pleasecan somebody be so kind to help?

Hi,if  I take a ticket in the winter SALE can i refund the ticket 100 %? (paper and also mobile)If I book, they mention that i have to pay extra.

Can a Eurail pass be used to book tickets to Monaco/Monte Carlo?  I see that a train travelling between Nice and Ventimiglia will stop in Monte Carlo, but if I do a search for a train specifically from Nice or Ventimiglia to Monte Carlo, Monaco doesn’t come up as an option. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello!I am looking into purchasing tickets. I am 26 but will be 27 by the time we travel so was looking at the youth pass. However I also have a 4 year old who will be 5 by the time we use the pass.I can't seem to purchase the youth pass and the kids one as it says you need to be 18 (which I am). So my question is, do I need to pay for the adults one even though I fall into the youth age bracket in order to get the kids pass? Sorry if there is a question like this already answered I couldn't find it!Thanks everyone!

Hello everyone,we are planning our trip through Europe. But somehow the high speed trains in Italy have disappeared! Same in France here are all the TGVs between Toulouse and Paris gone. Are these trains not longer useable with the global pass?Kind regards!

this has probably been asked before, but i am not finding the answer.   i am planning my first trip to europe in the summer.  if i make reservations for a trip from rome to london,  how does it work if i get off at a stop in between?  Is the reservation still effective when i catch another train to continue after the stop?  or do i need to make several reservations? thanks

I wanted to go tomorrow from Maastricht to Barcelona and can not do the trip right now because of the covid variant omicron. When I want to delete my trip to deactivate my ticket and keep it for the next months, It is not possible. It was not possible to deactivate the pass before, as I just received the cancelation of my airbnb in Barcelona due to an infection of my hosts. I already canceled the reservations I had for some trains. I would appreciate it a lot If you could answer me quickly, as I really want to do this trip when the whole pandemic situation permits it and it will be impossible for me to spend 180 Euros again. Would appreciate your help a lot!

I am a UK citizen. Can I travel from my home in Manchester to Luxembourg using just one of my Global Pass 10 day in 2 month tickets , I want to travel to London and then get Eurostar via Brussels to Luxembourg? I know I have to get a reservation for Eurostar and this is an additional cost.I want to use my final ticket from Reims to Manchester going via Paris to London on Eurostar and then on to Manchester in one day?

I would like to buy two Interrail pass, but I could not register my residence country: Hungary, because of there is no on the list of residence country! What is your advise? Thanks: Gyula David

Hello!I am new here, and I want to plan a trip from Amsterdam to Athens. You can use a pass for a whole day of travel, but is this from point A to point B, or for 24 hours? And if it is only for 24 hours, and you want to travel 2 days in a row, may I assume that is possible? Thanks!

Are any ferries between Italy and Greece included (i.e. not just discounted) in the Eurail Global pass? If so, what are they and where can I find them? I’m a little confused because on the Eurail map it clearly shows ferry routes between the two countries, but when searching the Eurail site all I can find is ferry services that are discounted. Thanks!!
