Quiero conocer tips de viaje comodo, económico,  tranquilo, especial e inolvidable por Europa.

Hello everyone. My semester abroad in Norway starts in mid-August and I am planning to travel from Germany to Norway with the Interrail Erasmus pass. Which country should I enter as my country of residence? Germany or Norway? Mainly because I plan to buy a 6-day pass and travel through Norway a few weeks later. The website says its the country in which you spend most of your time and this will change because of my travel.

Hi, I have recently purchased a global 1 month pass, 4 days for travel from one place to another consecutively. I have to travel from London to Paris within the same month but later, is that possible. And if so, can I refund (or exchange) my passes for the global 1 month, 5 day travel? Thanks, Candy

We are getting the Eurostar into Paris and have booked the overnight train down to Cannes but only have 35 minutes to make the connection. Is this do-able? If we turn up early to check in at St Pancreas is there a chance they might put us on an earlier train or could I pay to change if there are spare seats? We are using a global pass but there are no seats on trains any earlier (Monday 4th August, 17:30 from London) . Looking at Google is says it is 14 minutes on the underground (Line 5) but I am not sure which way to go, get tickets etc just wondered if anyone had any advice

I purchased 6 Eurail passes for my family. I added their passes to my Eurail App. Booked the TGV train and paid reservation fee . I received pdf file with 6 tickets. But in my eurail app, it shows only me in the trip. How do I add others to that same trip?

Travelling Paris -Interlaken- Zurich- Lake Como-Venice-Sorrento.After buying the Eurail global pass, do we go on the Eurail app and book individual tickets? If it says reservation required… do we reserve and pay right then on the Eurail app itself?Do we need to validate tickets at the train station or do anything else? For overnight train from Venice to Sorrento, do they provide bedding or pillow/ blanket?

Where can I use Eurail Global pass for full coverage as well as discounts at the following places around Interlaken (Switzerland)? (Trains, ferry, cable car, Furnicular)Harder KulmLake Thun and Lake Brienz ferryBrienz Rothorn Express Jungfrau, Kleine ScheideggLauterbrunnen, Wengen, Murren or GimmewaldInterlaken to Lucerne to Pilatus.Aare Gorge

Is there a map of coverage in Interlaken, spiez, Brienz, Lucerne, Murren area?

I’m preüparing for my first trip with interrail and need some advice about setting things up on my mobile. Once again thanks again in advanc to the community who have been incredibly helpful already. I have two questions: When I “create a new trip” in the app is the pass just valid for the trains shown there? If I miss a connection and therefore have to deviate from the origional plan, I assume my pass will be valid for any train I then take. Or do I have to create a new trip so my pass is aligned to the new circumstances - also if I decide spontaneously to do something different? Once I’ve got the QR code - ist this just for the one trip or is this now my pass for any journey for the duration of my 5 day  “allowance”I didn’t realise how many wrinkles of uncertainty were going to manifest themselves. Again thanks for any advice.Heidelboro

Hello (from the UK), I’m about to have a gap year and I am looking at getting a 3 month Global Pass (undecided on 2nd/1st class) and looking at doing as much as I can in as many destinations on as many train services (incl. couchettes) as feasible, does anyone have experience with visiting every country on the pass?

Hi. Im going to Lisbon in October. I'm right now trying to book the seats for a travel 21st of October from Madrid to Lisbon. It seems like there are no direct connections or just connections that are reasonable (up to 2 stops). Does any of you know of better connections between the two cities? Best wishes Agnethe (Denmark).

Hi, I am planning on using my interrail pass across northern Spain next month, but according to the planning app, many of the routes take a ridiculously long time, eg. Oviedo to Santander = 6 hrs 37min and Santander to san sebastian 9 hrs 30 min. San sebatian to Bilbao = 4hrs 38.It looks like part of the issue is the route given involve traveling a significant distance inland, changing at Palencia, and then traveling back to the coast.   Is this right.  Should I just get bus tickets?  Any advice?

Just bought a “10 trips over 2 months” pass (23/07/25) and would now like to book trains and seats for our upcoming trip starting December 2025. No trains come up. Is it too early to book ? If so, when can I start ?

Hello! I’m planning my first Interrail journey. Firstly I want to go from Kutno, Poland (my residence country) to Munich, Germany. I’d like to use this connection:IC 5420 Hutnik from Kutno (18:50) to Czechowice-Dziedzice (23:23)IC 407 Chopin from Czechowice-Dziedzice (00:07) to Munich (10:24)If I will add in app that I virtually “entered” the Chopin train in Oświęcim (23:45), one station earlier, would it count that I used only one travel day (outbound from my residence country)? Or the train staff will see that this change is not possible and will give me a fine? Thanks for your replies.

I am traveling with family to Europe in December.  We are flying into London, traveling to Amsterdam, Germany, and Belgium.  It will be an 18 day trip.  I’m looking at the pass options and wondering how many days we should get, 10 or 15 knowing we won’t be traveling Christmas or Christmas Eve.  Will prices go down at all closer to travel time or keep going up?  When is the best time to buy them?

Hi everyone, we have a connection to make between a Paris-Mannheim train and a Mannheim-Berlin train. We can either choose a 16 minutes connection or a 1h and 15 minutes. The platforms are right next to each other so 16 minutes should be fine but I'm not sure to trust the French train company to arrive to Mannheim on time. Seats reservation for Mannheim-Berlin is not mandatory (neither recommended). In case we book seats for the first connection but miss it, would we easily get on the next train? Thanks for your help, Lou-Anne

I used up all my travel days on the first pass that I bought, so I got a second one.  Now I can’t seem to find the option to update it on the app.  Does anybody have experience with this?  Thanks in advance!

I have a country pass for Austria. When I create a new trip linked to my pass (not activated yet), I thought the app would let me know if my pass is not valid in parts of the trip. However, it doesn’t show anything, even if I add a trip completely outside of Austria, eg from Paris to Barcelona. Therefore, and as I was unable to find clear information about this:If I travel on the Railjet from Austria to Bratislava, is the ticket valid to Bratislava, or do I need an additional ticket from Vienna to Bratislava?

Ola. We are planning a trip for November - December 2025 to Norway, and we are inspired by the proposed trip "Norway in winter", passing through Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Bodo. But using the planner it is impossible to visualize the journeys... for example Oslo-Bergen or Bergen-Bodo... Can anyone tell me why? and are there any train connection problems? because on the Norwegian site it seems that many journeys are replaced by buses. And final question: is it a good idea to plan “Norway in Winter” for this end of the year?Thank you very much in advance for the answers.

I'm trying to book reservations on this train and got this message.  Does this means there are no seats avaialble? It says seat reservations are not required.

Traveling through Europe from Paris to Switzerland to Italy to France then to Spain, what’s the past SIM card to use

Hi all! When I embark on a trip from Budapest to Cluj, I will pass Oradea. It looks like a very beautiful art noveau city that I'd like to check out, but I am unsure how long I should stay there. I could also check out Debrecen or other towns in the region. Does anyone have recommendations or must-see's in this region between Hungary and Romania?

Hey, in august i will be interrailing for the 1st time with 2 other friends, i was making the seat reservations until I stopped because I didn't know how to continue A train according to Interrail requires seat reservations, but they're no longer available on the Interrail website, so I go to the site listed under "more information" -> the Czech site. However, the site doesn't have this train (perhaps because Interrail doesn't support this organization, so it doesn't cover the train?).The Czech site (where seat reservations must be made) shows a train from 3:16 PM to 7:23 PM with train number EC 177. While Interrail shows a train from 2:47 PM to 7:23 PM with the same train number.- Both stations and dates are the same. How is this possible? And how am I supposed to make seat reservations? Just on the Czech website? Since they're the same train numbers, are they thereby also the same trains? i hope i made my story clear bye
